Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Ha Ho He
November 2017
Hertha BSC 0 - 0 FC Schalke 04
A dull game which was dominated by Hertha. Schalke's keeper Fährmann was on top of his game and he saved all nine shots.
Borussia Dortmund 0 - 0 Hertha BSC
Another goalless draw for Hertha, this time against another big team, Dortmund. Once again the Berliners played well and had a lot more shots but Dortmund's defence was having a great game.
Champions League
CSKA Moscow 0 - 5 Hertha BSC
Suarez 7', Götze 12', 58', Reus 40', Teichgräber 88'
Hertha BSC and Arsenal had the same amount of points coming into this game but the English team had a better goal difference. Hertha acknowledged that and slotted five goals past CSKA's goalie. Luis Suarez scored the first goal under ten minutes in with a shot which flew to the bottom right corner. Mario Götze scored the second five minutes later with a similar shot. Half an hour later Marco Reus run in the box and put the ball to the bottom left corner with the outside of his foot. Right before the hour mark Götze got his brace after cutting in the box and shooting the ball at the post. He then slotted the rebound in the net. The final goal was scored a few minutes before the end of the game when the youth academy graduate Robert Teichgräber dribbled in the box and curled the ball to the bottom left corner.
Hertha BSC 1 - 0 Werder Bremen
Sanchez 19'
December 2017
Borussia Mönchengladbach 1 - 3 Hertha BSC
Hrgota 75' pen
Suarez 19', Halilovic 79', 90'
It was time to face another rival for Hertha. This time it was Borussia Mönchengladbach who have always been a tough team for Hertha to beat. The Berliners got off to a good start when Luis Suarez scored only twenty minutes in. That was everything interesting that happened in the first half. The Uruguayan then missed a penalty in the 56th minute and only ten minutes later Hrgota put his penalty over the bar. Borussia's striker got another chance in the 75th minute and this time he slotted his penalty past Sirigu in goal. The lead was taken by the Berliners only four minutes later when the young midfielder Alen Halilovic dribbled in the box and curled the ball in the bottom left corner. Ten minutes later he scored a similar goal but this time the ball flew to the top left corner.
Champions League
Arsenal FC 3 - 4 Hertha BSC
Cazorla 37', Walcott 54', Gibbs 63'
Sanchez 5', Reus 15', Suarez 45', Götze 65'
This game was a game which was going to decide which team finishes on top of the Champions League group. Arsenal needed a victory for the first place but a draw was enough for Hertha because of their goal difference. At the end we saw an exciting game of attacking football. The away team's Alexis Sanchez, ex-Arsenal, opened the scoring only five minutes into the game after a marking error by Gibbs. Marco Reus scored the second ten minutes later after cutting in and shooting the ball in the top left corner with his right foot. Arsenal then scored in the 37th minute when Santi Cazorla cut in from the left and shot the ball in the top right corner. Luis Suarez added one more to the lead seven minutes later from a counter attack. About ten minutes into the second half Theo Walcott scored a similar goal to Cazorla's and ten minutes later Kieran Gibbs equalised after nice passing. Mario Götze decided the game only three minutes later after a corner kick was played short.
Hertha BSC 4 - 0 Mainz 05
Götze 10', Suarez 29', 60', Reus 86'
Werder Bremen 1 - 3 Hertha BSC
Makienok 21' pen
Tiechgräber 22', Höjbjerg 52', Bahebeck 65' pen
DFB Pokal Round of 16
Bayern München 2 - 1 Hertha BSC
Müller 5', Alaba 43'
Suarez 45'
For a second time in a row Hertha Berlin got eliminated from the cup before the semi finals. This time they got eliminated by Bayern München who took the victory thanks to two terrible goals. Thomas Müller scored the first only five minutes into the game when he was left unmarked in the box. Arjen Robben crossed the ball to him and Müller volleyed the ball in the net. David Alaba then scored the second before half time with a shot which got deflected from Fabian Schär. Luis Suarez managed to pull one back in stoppage time but it wasn't enough.

Wycombe Wanderers
FIFA 14
Season 1
February 2014
MATCHDAY 31 15/2
Dagenham 0-1 Wycombe
G.Bigirimana (45')
Man of the Match: Josh Scowen
A match in the snow today for the first of our 3 games in the month of February. The home side started off strong and hit the post in 14th minute leaving us lucky to still be scoreless. However we proceeded to dominate the game and on the brink of half time Bigirimana got on the score sheet. He got himself on the end of Kretzschmar pass after a good passing move by the team.
MATCHDAY 32 18/2
Wycombe 0-0 Morecambe
Man of the Match: Nick Arnold
We controlled the first half having more possession and attempts. Hause's header hit the bar in the 64th minute after a Scowen corner. There was a couple more half chances in the game but no clear cut opportunities. After our slip up Chesterfield took advantage winning their game to be level with us again.
MATCHDAY 33 25/2
Mansfield Town 0-2 Wycombe
B.Finne (15')
M.McClure (90’)
Man of the Match: Georgi Sarmov
Finne ended his 6 game goal drought in this match when Scowen got the ball out on the left hand side. He passed it across to Finne who was waiting on the edge of the box. He took it into the middle of the D and then let fly into the right bottom corner. McClure then came of the bench in the last 10 minutes and wrapped it up in the 90th minute. A counter attack resulted in him getting to the end line then turning back in on his left and finishing it beautifully into the left of the goal.
Rochdale beat Chesterfield 2-1 giving us a 3 point cushion.

And now back to the war. It never stopped, Jamie/Dickie! And it won't stop until you surrender and stop brainwashing people. Admit it, you kidnapped Tex because he found out the truth about you. What have you done to him?!-Simppu12-

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
I just finished playing through January and there were few really big deals. I sold someone for 120 million. But who was it? You'll find out when I decide to write the update.

Don't you lie! I know that Tex isn't here with us because you have captured and tortured him. I abandoned Rabbit only because he abandoned me and left me alone to fight against you and your little puppet. I will never follow your brainwashing propaganda prophecy. And how dare you call me a communist and a (grammar) Nazi! You capitalist pig! Wait, I mean you disrespectful pig.-Simppu12-

No, how dare you call it brainwashing propaganda. You saw, I said you would abandon Rabbit, you did. I am the prophet. You have clear hatred for capitalism and for that you will pay. YOU are the one that brought in capture and torture, you are blaming your sins on me. And for that matter, I bet it is you that is keeping Regens hostage as well.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
I call it propaganda because that's what it is! Technically I haven't abandoned Rabbit, he abandoned me which lead to me stopping fighting together. You are no prophet , you are just a lunatic whose place is in an asylum. I possess no hatred towards capitalism, I just happen to think that it has some flaws in it. I could never capture another human being, that's just cruel and terrible! You on the other hand are able to do all kinds of crazy stuff. I'm sure you were behind the crisis of Eastern Ukraine and all the other major conflicts from the past years.
Thanks! I'm enjoying your updates, too.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
You're the communist here so therefore your the one that cause the Eastern Ukrainian crisis. And you did abandon Rabbit, you are incorrect, you were still on his side and then left because his views did not fit yours. He did not want the war to continue, he did kept his distance, analysing from the sidelines while you continued a full frontal assault, changing it from a mere war over MK Dons to a battle of communism vs capitalism, peace vs violence, Hertha vs Union and more importantly, your refusal to believe in the prophecy. It is true, written in the holy book of Career Mode that there shall be a war that tears the forum apart. A prophet will come from the heavens and guide those who believe to safety from the crazy communist and his illogical hatred of Union Berlin. That prophet is me.

This isn't effecting our relationship, right? Hopefully someone doesn't think we are crazy because of this war.-Simppu12-

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Okay, so I've narrowed down my options to one or two teams in each major European footballing nation:
England
Middlesbrough/Blackpool
France
Lille
Germany
Hamburg/Red Bull Leipzig
Italy
Fiorentina/Milan
Spain
Real Sociedad
Whichever one I choose, the aim is to eventually become the best in the country's top flight as well as in Europe, and there will be certain guidelines common to whichever club I pick.
- Of the 18 first team players in the starting lineup and on the bench, at least ten must be of the same nationality as the league, as should at least 50% of the entire squad.
- Reserve players must be promoted to the first team when they turn 23. Those who aren't good enough must be sold or loaned out.
- Each player will be assigned a buyout clause at the start of the career/upon being signed. Any offer higher than this figure must be accepted, and any offer lower in value must receive a counter-offer.
Tell me what you guys think!Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Here is recap of what has happened, in our first season we had to battle out of the Liga Adelente in the playoffs which we won to get promotion. Last season we battled in the top half of La Liga before finishing in fifth. This helped us get into the Europa Championship. So this season we are struggling a little, but we took an opening win in group play in the Europa. So I am happy to see my youth academy team develop. We still have three players left from the original team that I need to move on. We are also trying to reach the knockout stage in our domestic cup. Another update will later in the week.Currently playing: (In order of Most Time)
