Pretty interesting transfers. Chikhaoui has always seemed like a very good player on the game and I'm glad someone is finally using him. You got off to a pretty good start in the league, especially with that win against Sevilla. To be honest I can see you finishing somewhere in the top six.

I never really realised until now how... bad your team is. Almost everyone is under 70 ovr. Because of that it's even more impressive how well you are doing in the Premier League. Losing to Everton in the cup isn't that bad because they are a good side. Appiah continued to be the same beast he was before the injury.

I'm seriously considering renting another copy of 15 and seeing if there is any other differences. I'm starting to wonder if I just got a glitched disc.
Ah yes, the Godfather quotes. One of my personal highlights of this forum. What's impressive is that we were able to keep it going for about 2 pages lol
I don't think it's your disc. It's exactly the same for me. I think that's just something in the game itself. Also, I really liked the Godfather quotes, too.

Does it not even come up when you guys click on the player to sub them? That's when it comes up for me. Bare in mind I'm on PS3 though.

No, it doesn't come up then. I've tried clicking them and going to match facts after the game but it doesn't come up. It's probably something that occurs on next/current-gen only by the look of things.

Chico: Good derby win to start the month against Bilbao. The B Team looks like it's struggling a bit with that loss to Sociedad and draw with Espanyol. Thrilling 2 legs against Arsenal and I'm delighted to see you come on on the right side of the result and get into the quarter finals. You had 2 tight 1-0 wins against Barca and Sevilla also which are good results. Great to see you still in second and looks like you have had a good start to the Mexico job too.

Simp: Good transfer window as always. You have some more nice and young German talent. Son and Calhanoglu seemed to have an instant impact while I also like the other signings. Kalou looks to see have his scoring touch! Good start to the league only dropping 2 points and you have an interesting Champions League group.

Cabee: Everton really seem to have you in their pockets! Good results in the other games and well done on staying up in 4th place. It's a shame to see Mabil leave for so little but I think Bond can fill the gap. Tough month next month so I think 4 points would be good.

southernmetalhead: Looks like a good squad to build on although the backline looks like the main area of improvement with some quality youth needed. Midfield looks fairly young and quality so you look fine there. Looking forward to this.

Indi: Chikhaoui looks like a very versatile player so nice pick up. Rodri could be a solid impact player up front, likewise with Guillermo and we know how he's done for Chico. Vazquez looks very athletic CM although his size could go against him. Alonso is likewise an athletic CM but with good strength and not to far off 6'0". Bagnack is one for the future and depth at the moment I'm guessing. Arrizabalaga looks like a good back up keeper. Good preseason and start to the league with a nice 5-1 hammering of Sevilla. What are you expectations for this season?

Sorry to hear about the board selling Mabil on the cheap to Aston Villa, that's brutal! February looks tough. Hopefully you can find your way through it with some results.
I know right! Zapata was popping up in all the right places and I couldn't do anything about it. I might have to have a completely different strategy when I come up against Everton next time! :P

Appiah really deserves to be top goalscorer and I really would like to see him get the golden boot but it might be a little soon for that kind of thinking.

The board better let me sell the players from now on! Imagine who I could have got with around 4 to 5 million in the bank!

I'm gonna have to hope that Bond can settle in quickly with his debut against Chelsea and then up against Spurs which is a pretty tough fixture list for even the best keepers.

Haha, yeah my team looks quite bad on paper but they really do play better than what their overall suggests!

I was a little worried that Appiah would feel a little slow but it's like he hasn't even been injured for a couple of weeks.

Urgh, I know. Everton are just too good against me! Yeah, I'm still annoyed with the Mabil transfer but I do have hope for Bond. I'll be happy with 3 or 4 points in the next month as I'm definately not getting any points against Chelsea! (or even Spurs!)

Cheers. Chikhaoui really is a wonderful player. I can play him wide or central, in midfield or attack, on his own or with a partner. He works really well in all scenarios. As for Vazquez, he has a 91 jumping rating that helps him get up in the air. His aggression is also pretty good at 76 and rising, so he's a lot better off the deck than he seems. Together with Alonso, he forms a fantastic axis that lets my front four go bananas. Bagnack might be a future prospect, but to be honest, he's only there for depth at the moment. We'll see how that changes as time goes by, but my current centre back pairing of Hector Moreno and Raul Rodriguez is too good to be shaken up. Like Simp pointed out, I should be able to finish top 6. Quietly, I think we can make Champions League with an outside shot at the title.

Ah I see. Well that's a relief then, I thought it was just my copy. Have you found if there's anywhere in the menus where you can see how many stars your team is? It's not a big deal, but I would like to see how much my team has grown since I took the reins.

Cabee: Oh it's not on Legendary? Then I take back everything I've said about your career, ever. Lmao just kidding! Dude, with your squad it's still a hell of an achievement to be fighting at the top of the table even on world class!

Indi: You already know which was my favorite signing. Vazquez is a player that raised a lot of doubts going into the World Cup with Mexico because really he was second choice for CDM but an injury is what opened the door for him. He did a spectacular job as I'm sure some of you saw before an injury forced him to miss Mexico's last match against Holland. Like you said despite his extremely low height his athleticism makes up for it. Glad to hear he's doing really well for you. Then you have Moreno as well, so you know I'm already hooked right off the bat lol

Sorry to hear about your last career, but glad you're giving Russia another shot. Looking at your squad your midfield is the most solid, so I would have also went with a formation that can have the most midfielders on the field at once. Really liked reading about the club's history especially since this is a league I know almost nothing about. Your budget is really good and you were able to invest in youth scouts which is always great. What I like the most about squads such as yours is that you can incorporate youth players into the lineup soon after promotion. Good luck with professional, hope you can get start getting a better hang of the game. I'm positive we'll be seeing you back in world class soon!

I know there are a lot of people making excuses for Mexico like saying that was Mexico's C/D-Team, but f*ck that USA won fair and square. At least that defeat gave us a clear picture of who should not even be considered for Mexico's A/B Team this year. Also that Morris kid! I didn't know about him until the match is he even on FIFA? Impressive to see a university player get a shot with the national team.
Haha, not cool! Can't wait until I get to play Mexico now! In all seriousness though I was very happy with the friendly result in real life. The pitch was a disaster and it's lucky that the players weren't getting injured left and right. It was honestly embarrassing to see them having to play on a field like that. Morris looks to be a bright spot. He will end up either playing in Europe somewhere or with the Sounders who he has a contract with already as a home-grown player for them. He has been in FIFA at some points as a free agent due to his recent call ups, but he's not in the default rosters and has been sporadic as far as being in them in the updates.

Damn I missed so much! I was gone all weekend for my bachelor's party and I have about 6 pages or so to catch up on!

Tex/Chico if it is Jordan Morris, ST you are talking about yes he is in the April 17 update. He is 61 OVR and 70 POT. And is Free Agents would be a good pickup for lower careers.

That's actually where I went to college. Our football team plays in that stadium, but we use turf so they had to bring in that awful temporary grass that was out there just for this game.

                              Ha Ho He

                              September 2016

                              Hertha BSC 1 - 0 Bayer Leverkusen
                              Kalou 25'

Hertha BSC continued their winning run against good teams with this pretty dull game agaisnt Bayer Leverkusen. Both teams defended well and the game was played mainly in the midfield. The only goal of the game was scored by the golden boot winner from last season Salomon Kalou. He ran into the box from a counter attack and just curled the ball into the bottom left corner.

                              FC Basel 0 - 3 Hertha BSC
                              Calhanoglu 3', Kalou 45' pen, 55'

Hertha's first Champions League game since the 80s ended in a solid win. The underdogs of the group Basel were dominated in front of their home fans and Hertha's first chance went in. Heung-Min Son dribbled into the box from the left wing and he played in a low cross which was tapped into the net by Hakan Calhanoglu. Forty minutes later Salomon Kalou doubled the lead from the penalty spot after he was taken down in the box. Ten minutes into the second half Valentin Stocker passed the ball to the Ivorian who had an easy job shooting it into the open net.

                              Hannover 96 0 - 2 Hertha BSC
                              Calhanoglu 70', Kalou 82'

Hannover proved to be a challenge for the majority of the game but at the end the Berliners were able to score two goals to secure the three points. Hakan Calhanoglu ran into the box and he shot the ball into the bottom right corner. About ten minutes later Kalou scored the second of the game from a counter attack.

                              Hertha BSC 2 - 1 SC Freiburg
                              Calhanoglu 48', Werner 70'
                              Mehmedi 45'

Freiburg put up a good fight in this game but at the end Roman Bürki's mistake was enough for Hertha to win the game. First Freiburg's Mehmedi scored his third goal in two games against Hertha by running into the box and curling the ball past the keeper. The lead lasted only three minutes as Hakan Calhanoglu got into the box and curled the ball into the bottom left corner right after the beginning of the second half. Half an hour later Timo Werner's shot got saved by Roman Bürki in goal. The young German winger went ahead and slid into the keeper who dropped the ball. Somehow Werner managed to get his foot to it and the ball rolled over the line.

FC Augsburg 0 -2 Hertha BSC
Philp OG 20', Drmic 55' pen

An own goal and a penalty were enough to secure the three points for the Berliners. The first goal went in when Salomon Kalou's shot was pushed into the net by Philp the right back. Half an hour later Josip Drmic scored his penalty after Andre Hahn went down dramatically in the box. Stefanos Kapino, Hertha's keeper, had a very good game once again and he's starting to challenge for the starting spot.

                              Jonas 28', 42'

After a strong 3-0 win in the first game Hertha got a reality check. Benfica controlled the game and Hertha had serious trouble getting past their strong midfield and defence. The Berliners looked helpless for the majority of the game. Benfica's Jonas opened the scoreline when he was left completely unmarked at the far post. The Brazilian then just headed it into the net past Ron-Robert Zieler who maybe should've done a better job in the goal. Fifteen minutes later Jonas got a brace with another header. This time he just outjumped John Anthony Brooks to head the ball past Zieler who really should've saved it. Hertha managed to pull one back in the 66th minute when Salomon Kalou converted a penalty but other than that they didn't have many chances.

                              Salomon Kalou

Kalou picked his first Player of the Month award of the season after having a good month of September. He scored five goals this month and he picked an assist. The Ivorian isn't showing signs of slowing down.

                              Salomon Kalou

The Player of the Month had a pretty good month as he scored five important goals.

                              Hakan Calhanoglu

The attacking midfielder hasn't reached his best level yet but he has been very good for the Berliners. Three goals and an assist in September just prove that. Unluckily the team hasn't gotten a single free kick from scoring distance and Calhanoglu hasn't been able to show his amazing free kick skills.

                              Stefanos Kapino

Even though the young keeper has played just three competitive games this season he has been great in all of them and the fans are starting to wonder why the out-of-form Zieler is still starting. Kapino has made many spectacular saves in the few chances he has gotten and it's highly possible that the Greek keeper will become the starter.

                              Not

                              Ron-Robert Zieler

There were kind of high expectations for Ron-Robert Zieler when he joined Hertha Berlin and he hasn't lived up to them at all. The keeper has made some mistakes and he hasn't looked like he's concentrating lately.

Nope, there doesn't seem to be an option for that, either. The best option would be to compare the overalls of your players to the original players, I guess. Or just counting and dividing players' overalls.
