50. Vid Belec (67) - 0 Apps, 25 years old. A player with no future here and is on the transfer list. N/A
46. Tommaso Berni (67+4) - 0 Apps, 32 years old. No future and his contract expires at the end of June. N/A
?. Francesco Bardi (74) - Was on loan at Chievo Verona. Will most likely be our backup keeper next year. N/A
Defenders:
Spoiler33. Danilo D'Amnrosio (73) - RB, 11 Apps, 0 Assist, 0 Goals, 26 years old. A good depth player but if we can get someone better we will. 6/10
2. Danilo (79) - RB, 23 Apps, 1 Assist, 1 Goal, 23 years old. A solid defender and good going forward as well. Hopefully he starts growing. 8/10
19. Andrea Ranocchia (79+2) - CB 35 Apps, 0 Assist, 1 Goal, 27 years old. A solid center back but is quite slow and would prefer someone more commanding. 7/10
5. Juan Jesus (78+1) - CB 46 Apps, 0 Assist, 0 Goals, 24 years old. Was great for us in the back all season and captained the team when Palacio wasn't playing. 8/10
26. Felipe (69-1) - CB 4 Apps, 0 Assist, 0 Goals, 30 years old. Very poor but had to play once acidic got hurt. Will be leaving when his contract expires. 4/10
15. Nemanja Vidic (82) - CB 23 Apps, 0 Assist, 1 Goal, 33 years old. Lost his starting position to Ranocchia going into December but was always good when we played and we will be glad to have him for at least one more year. 7/10
6. Marco Andreolli (75) - CB 24 Apps, 0 Assist, 0 Goals, 29 years old. Was decent when he played but will be looking to replace him with someone younger. 5/10
?. Matias Silvestre (72) - CB. He was on loan at Sampdoria all season. Is 30 years old. Will most likely be sold this summer. N/A
21. Davide Santon (75) - LB. He was a loanee from Newcastle. 26 Apps, 1 Assist, 1 Goal, 24 years old. He was nothing special but did good when called upon. 7/10
?. Alvaro Pereira (74) - LB. Was on loan at Estudiantes. Is 29 years old. I haven't decided to keep him for cover next year or sell him. N/A
Midfielders:
Spoiler18. Gary Medel (80) - CDM, 44 Apps, 5 Assist, 1 Goal, 27 years old. A hardworking, tough tackling midfielder that always did good for us. Will hope to keep him next year. 8/10
45. Andrea Palazzi (61+3) - CDM, 0 Apps, 19 years old. Grew despite not playing and will look to loan him out next season. N/A
?. Ezequiel Schelotto (75+3) - RM, was on loan at Chievo Verona. Looks like he could be an okay squad player but if an offer comes I might sell him. N/A
?. Ricardo Alvarez (77) - RM, was on loan at Sunderland. Looks like he could be an okay squad player but if an offer comes I might sell him. N/A
13. Fredy Guarin (81+2) - CM, 34 Apps, 5 Assist, 3 Goals, 28 years old. Much like Medel we hope to keep hold of him as he was a great asset. 8/10
23. Thiago (81) - CM, 15 Apps, 4 Assist, 0 Goals, 24 years old. Always seems to be tired but when he plays he plays well. Would hope to see improvements next year. Could be sold for the right price. 6/10
77. Marcelo Brozovic (71+1) - CM, 15 Apps, 3 Assist, 0 Goals, 22 years old. I don't like Brozovic his passing always seems off and he does add much defensively. I may look to move him on this summer. 4/10
10. Mateo Kovacic (79+2) - CM, 35 Apps, 6 Assist, 0 Goals, 21 years old. A very promising player that I think could be very good in the future. We will try to keep him like we did in January despite 40+ million dollar bids from the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona. 7/10
20. Joel Obi (71+3) - CM, 12 Apps, 1 Assist, 1 Goal, 24 years old. He's not the best player nor will he ever be but he is a solid squad player that plays better than his overall suggest. 6/10
16. Zdravko Kuzmanovic (75+2) - CM, 16 Apps, 1 Assist, 1 Goal, 27 years old. A player that never really met the expectation and will probably be sold. 3/10
?. Saphir Taider (76+2) - CM, on loan at Sassuolo, 23 years old. Looks like a decent player and will be given a chance next season. N/A
11. Kwadwo Asamoah (80+1) - LM, 47 Apps, 3 Assist, 2 Goals, 26 years old. A vital player this year for being able to play every position. He mostly played left back and will probably be our starter there next year but he can play anywhere on the pitch which is a huge bonus. He made more appearances than anyone else on the team this season. 9/10
22. Dodo (76+2) - LM, a loanee from Roma. Was able to help us out a lot this year but will not be coming back. 7/10
17. Lukas Podolski (77) - LM, a loanee. Was a great help up front this year and even had the most amount of assist. 7/10
91. Xherdan Shaqiri (82+2) - CAM, 43 Apps, 9 Assist, 16 Goals, 23 years old. A player we hope to keep hold of because he was absolutely brilliant all season. 9/10
Forwards:
Spoiler?. Ruben Botta (72+1) - CF, on loan at Chievo Verona. Will be on the transfer list to make room for better options upfront. N/A
47. Carlos Mane (74+1) - RW, 21 Apps, 7 Assist, 6 Goals, 21 years old. A good super sub that was always able to influence the game. Glad to have him at the club. 7/10
?. Gaston Camara (64+4) - RW, on loan at Blackburn, 19 years old. Will be loaned out again next year. N/A
8. Rodrigo Palacio (81+1) - ST, 40 Apps, 9 Assist, 34 Goals, 33 years old. Our top scorer at 33 is very impressive. Hopefully he has at least one more season at the top. 10/10
9. Mauro Icardi (80+3) - ST, 29 Apps, 7 Assist, 14 Goals, 22 years old. Started off poorly but picked it up around December. The plan is for him to be Palacio’s long term replacement. 8/10
?. George Puscas (65+4) - ST, on loan at Vercelli, 19 years old. Will be loaned out again. N/A
?. Federico Bonazzoli (64+3) - ST, on loan at Cambuur, 18 years old. Will be loan out again. N/A
7. Memphis Depay (80+1) - LW, 27 Apps, 6 Assist, 13 Goals, 21 years old. Will stay either us as long as possible. Is an excellent player and exactly what we need on the wings. 10/10

Goalkeeper of the Year

My Thoughts:
We had a fantastic season and exceeded what was expected of us which is always good. Everyone was great this season and performed well when called upon. To see Palacio get the golden boot and Leno just miss out on the golden glove despite only playing for about half the season made me very happy and proud of what we have achieved. I’m honored to receive the Manager of the Year award and hope to win it again next year.
Palacio received the Best Offensive play for us because he was instrumental with his goals and assist all season long. He carried our team through our hard times and was an excellent goal scorer all season in all competitions.
Juan Jesus received the award for Best Defensive player because he was a rock in the back all season and appeared for the club 46 times in the heart of defence and always played great. He did everything we needed him too. Tackle, win aerial battle, clear the ball and always marked his man exceptionally well.
Memphis Depay received the best young player award because even though he came in to the team in January he scored lots and always had an impact in any game he was in.

How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
To prevent me from playing too far ahead in my Osasuna career, I have started a new career to go alongside it. I wanted it to be a just-for-fun career so I went with the MLS. The team I wanted to use was Chivas USA, a team that no longer exists, because since they no longer exist in the MLS they barely have enough players in FIFA to make a starting eleven and a bench. No reserves. In fact, several of the players on the squad are just copies of the real players that left. For example there is two Eric Avila's in the game now, one with Chivas USA and one with Orlando City. Both have the same exact stats except that Orlando City's Avila has a picture while Chivas USA's does not. As a Guadalajara fan I despise the stupid idea of Chivas USA, but their complete lack of depth is what attracted me to start a career with them. I plan on signing Free Agents and old players from the Liga MX, like Chivas USA's beginnings, as well as players in the Liga MX that were once great but fell off and are now lost in the reserves. I want to keep a Mexico-United States based squad, like Chivas USA's beginnings, but my main priority will be to build a team that actually has reserves and not just 18 players.
I planned to swap in the new MLS teams, Kaka's Orlando City and David Villa's New York City FC, but unfortunately there is not enough room in the MLS especially if I want to keep Chivas USA. This put the career on hold, but now what I've done is swapped the entire MLS over to the Argentinian league, which also brings the possibility of playing the Copa Libertadores, the most prestigious international tournament in the Americas. Argentina has amazing clubs with a lot of prestige and history though, like Boca Juniors; River Plate; Racing; Independiente etc, and I would be losing them with this change so what I did is I took the best and most known argentine clubs and swapped them with the worst clubs from Chile so that they can still qualify to the Libertadores. I still had to sacrifice an MLS club in order for the two new clubs to fit and after reviewing all the teams and scratching my head a lot I decided Chicago Fire would be it. I don't plan on posting about this career like Osasuna, I might just post an overall update after each season if you guys want, but I just wanted to share with you guys what I'll be doing while working on my Osasuna updates.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
That's a good looking squad!! Looking real good I'm impressed. Really like that you signed De Marcos, one of my favorite players to have but I've only used him once in an Athletic Bilbao I had a long time ago. Good to see you've held on to Pacheco who looks like an amazing player. Any Spanish players you recommend?

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
@Regens - My god, your transfers. Are you Perez?
@Simppu - You made a slight error in the Coruna game title, and judging by the error...I don't blame you. Your form dipped but you are still up at the top, so no worries!
@BlueEagle - Congrats on winning the league the Europa league. You have had a good season and a fun one to follow! You deserve to be the Manager of the year!
@ChicoBass - Sounds like a fun idea, if you ever have the time, you might aswell update us. Osasuna first though, it is too interesting to read.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Yeah.. I know. Too many, too big. May sell Cesc in the summer if he doesn't REALLY work out, just because the signing on paper doesn't fit ideally. Other than that, the signings made sense. Apart from really the keeper, because I didn't want to sell Leno, but the money they dished out was far surpassing my expectations, so I went and bought a replacement, being ter Stegen. Other than that, I like the Calhanoglu signing, like the Kroos signing, like the Nkoulou signing. But, I get your point.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Valencia CF
November 2014
Villarreal CF 2 - 1 Valencia CF
Campbell 44', Pina 89'
Parejo 90'
We suffered our first loss of the season in a painful way in this derby against Villarreal. We failed to create any big chances for the majority of the game as the Yellow Submarine played amazingly. There wasn't space for us and they defended very well. They played like a real team and right before the break Joel Campbell put them into the lead with a curling shot into the top right corner from the edge of the box. We tried to equalise the game but before the fulltime whistle Tomas Pina doubled Villarreal's lead after some terrible marking. Right after that Dani Parejo pulled one back from Enzo Perez's pass and then he took another shot after stealing the ball from Villarreal's kickoff but it hit the crossbar. Villarreal had a great game and they deserved to win. Jose Gaya got injured in this game and he'll miss 6 weeks of action.
Valencia CF 1 - 0 Athletic Bilbao
Perez 73'
Athletic Bilbao are famous for their giant-killing at their home ground San Mames but they're also known for their relatively poor away record. That wasn't the case at all this time and the game was very fast-paced and exciting. Both teams had a solid amount of chances and both sets of defenders played well. The game was decided in the 73rd minute Enzo Perez ran into the box, dribbled past two defenders and shot the ball straight at Gorka Iraizoz who let it through his legs.
Levante UD 1 - 3 Valencia CF
(guess who wrote Hertha again before realising it)
Uche 75'
Feghouli 40', 72', Parejo 66'
Levante put up a good fight but it wasn't enough to save them from a defeat. Sofiane Feghouli had a very good game and we got the lead thanks to his powerful shot into the top right corner five minutes before half time. After the hour mark Dani Parejo doubled our lead with a nicely positioned shot into the bottom left and soon after that Feghouli got a brace from a counter attack. Few minutes later Kalu Uche pulled one back but it wasn't enough as we got the three points.
Valencia CF 0 - 0 FC Barcelona
Our biggest game yet against the championship favourites Barcelona was a bit of a boring game. There were only four shots in the game and neither side created anything too dangerous. The ball was mainly played around the midfield and that's pretty much it.
Player of the Month
Enzo Perez
The Argentinian midfielder has probably become the most important player of Valencia's midfield. He does everything on the pitch and always gives his all. In November Perez scored a game-winning goal against Athletic Bilbao and he assisted two more. His stamina and amazing vision make him a very dangerous player.
La Liga Table
1. Valencia CF, 30 pts
2. Real Madrid, 28 pts
3. FC Barcelona, 26 pts
4. Atletico Madrid, 23 pts
5. Athletic Bilbao, 23 pts
6. Villarreal CF, 22 pts
------------------------------------------------
18. Rayo Vallecano, 11 pts
19. Granada CF, 8 pts
20. SD Eibar, 6 pts
My Thoughts
Still at the top of the table, even though we dropped four points against Villarreal and Barcelona. I'm still waiting for someone (probably Barca or Real) to find their form and overtake us. I don't see us dropping points in December because we have games against Rayo, Granada and Eibar, the bottom three teams. We also have our first cup tie against CD Lugo.
January is also getting closer. I've decided that Alcacer needs to go and I'll do everything I can to sell him. Other than that I'm looking to loan a couple of guys out and I could sign a back-up keeper and a CDM.
Thank you for reading this post! I hope you have enjoyed it! Any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated!

@Chico: I like the idea and you sound like you would enjoy it too which is the main thing. I'm cool with whatever way you want to update it here, be it end of season, half season or monthly.
@sportsfreak: That's a nice team you have built up! Where have you finished the last few seasons? Have you won any cups or anything?
@Simp: Poor way to start the month with a loss to Villarreal but you then had two good wins followed by a very handy point against Barca. Still top and next month should yield three wins if the table is anything to go by.Comment
