Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

10cabee Pujol was immense for you that month. Glad to see he has staved off injuries and is in fine form. The Ligue 2 table is pretty tight, so promotion isn't guaranteed just yet. I saw that GFC Ajaccio was promoted IRL, so hopefully you can match that.

texasbum Really dominant month aside from the loss to Plymouth Argyle. Advancing in the Capital One Cup and J.Paint Trophy with an added 2nd place position is really great. 3 goals and 6 assists for Jed Wallace, what a player he is for you.

Keano Good luck in your Hamburger SV career. I know a little bit about Rudnevs as I follow players from the former USSR, so hopefully he does well for you. Also just saw IRL that van der Vaart is going to Real Betis.

Regens Looking forward to this. I was thinking about buying Schar myself for Rubin, but his 8 mil price tag may be too much for me. Hopefully he does well for you though.

Simppu Congrats on the Spanish double. You did great that final month only conceding one goal. That draw with Real Madrid was enough to hold them off. Negredo, Bacca, Feghouli all had real good seasons.

                  Hull City
                  Season 1
                  October 2014

                  Objectives:
The league objective is to avoid relegation.
The Domestic Cup objective is to reach the Round of 32.

                  League Match
                  Hull City 2 - 3 Crystal Palace
                  Chamakh 29' 44' (RED) 52'
                  Munir 35'
                  McArthur 38'
                  Aluko 65'

                  MOTM Sagbo

A disappointing defeat to a Crystal Palace side that have had a good start to the season. We played a weaker side because of our against Arsenal in two days time but I was still really hoping for a win in this match. The away time only had three shots while we had nine. For their first goal Chamakh was played through behind the defense and his shot was a powerful one that rocketed in off the post. McGregor just stood and watched. Munir equalized thirty-five minutes in when he was played and then ball rolled past two opponents and then placed the ball to the far post out of the keeper's reach. McArthur would put them back in the lead just after kickoff. He was played the ball just past the center circle and proceeded to dribble past five defenders. His finish was poor though McGregor should have saved the pea roller of a shot and McArthur was lucky to be celebrating. Chamakh scored one more right before halftime. A cross came in from Bolasie and Chamakh got it at the near post and flicked it on with his head to the back post with a good finish. In the 52' Chamakh slid into Quinn from behind in our own half and received a straight red for the reckless challenge. With the away team down a man we started to press more in hope of getting at least one point out of the game. Just past the hour mark we got one back through Aluko. Sagbo back heeled it into Aluko who took one touch and then hit a swerving effort that found it's way into the back of the net. Sadly we could not get the equalizer and lost at home once again.

Munir celebrating his first league goal for Hull City.

                  League Match
                  Arsenal 3 - 2 Hull City
                  Benteke (PEN) 37’
                  Sanchez (PEN) 50’
                  Dawson (OG) 69’
                  Hernandez 85’
                  Debuchy 90’

                  MOTM Benteke

I was hoping to take at least a point from Arsenal who have been struggling this year and went into this game in 10th place. We got the first goal when Debuchy tripped Hernandez inside the box and we were awarded a penalty. Benteke stepped up to take it and smashed the ball into the roof of the net. Just after halftime though we gave up a penalty. Dawson went barrelling into Debuchy and laid him out. Sanchez was the one to take it and hit it low and straight down the middle, just like Yaya Toure did last month. Just before the 70’ we conceded another goal. This time an own goal. Walcott crossed the ball in and it was a poor cross that Butland was going to catch but Dawson decided to head the ball and misjudged it. The ball ended up hitting him in the shoulder and bouncing into the open goal. Five minutes before time Hernandez looked like he rescued us a point with a simple tap in after a cross came in and bounced past everyone and to him at the back post. Sadly Debuchy redeemed himself for the Arsenal fans when he was able to head in a cross in added time to get them all three points and put them into 7th place.

                  League Match
                  Liverpool 3 - 2 Hull City
                  Coutinho 14’
                  Huddlestone (OG) 59’
                  Benteke 60’

                  MOTM Benteke

Going to Liverpool is always tough and that was proved once again. The scoreline makes it look like a close game but it really wasn’t, Liverpool were all over us and had to defend the whole time. They pressed early and in the 10’ Markovic hit the cross bar and hit bounced straight to Coutinho who shot but luckily Dawson was on the line to clear it. They won the clearance though and just has Coutinho got onside he made another run. Gerrard played him the ball over the defense and he vollied it to the back post without the ball ever touching the ground. We were able to keep the ball out of the net until the 59’ when Sturridge had a shot the Huddlestone jump in front of to block but only deflected it into the net and Butland couldn’t get to it because he had already dove the other way. We pulled one back just after half time when Hernandez dribbled down the middle and drew three players out of position which opened up space for Benteke to run into. Hernandez played it over the top and Benteke was able to volley in from close range. We didn’t get any more chances though and they were still pressing us and almost had a few more goals.

                  Benteke’s Volley.

                  Table:

                  My Thoughts:

Zero out of nine points possible is not good. We dropped all the way down to 15th place and I’m not very happy about it. We really should have beat Crystal Palace, we were all over them but our finishing was not good enough and theirs was great. The Arsenal game was killer, I really wanted the point and to have it taken away in added time just makes me bitter and want to beat them next time. We knew going to Anfield was going to be hard, but they absolutely dominated us. We could do nothing they controlled everything, there was maybe about 5 minutes of time that we looked like we might score again and that is all.

I got three international management offers this month. One from Switzerland, one from Wales and the other from Ireland. I’m not sure if I will take any but if I was I would prefer the Swiss job. What do you guys think?

                  November Fixtures:
                  Southampton (H) - League
                  Burnley (A) - League
                  Spurs (H) - League

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

@Tex: Fairly strong squad there. Bit old though! And maybe a better defensive midfielder, younger striker and younger centre backs and I'd say you are sorted.

@Regens: A player for each position! Begovic is an upgrade to Szczesny I feel and should be good. Is it him or Ospina that will be your starting keeper? Schar has nice potential and should be able to take over from Mertesacker when he retires. Schneiderlin is an upgrade from Coquelin too, and he's good to have as a backup. Obviously Martínez is your big signing and he should have an impact right away. Well done on beating City for the community shield and two opening victories!

@Southernmetalhead: Good intro! The squad itself seems a but old at the back and in midfield. The real pride is your attack though. Lots of options. Looking forward to the first games.

@Blue Eagle: What a rough month! To lose three points against someone you were really looking on beating and then having 1 point snatched away by Arsenal is tough. Sounds like you got played off the pitch against Liverpool though. Dropping down to 15th is also tough to see and next month doesn't get any better with 3 hard teams to beat.

                        Starting XI:

                        January

                        Coupe Nationale (Round 1)

                        AJ Auxerre 3 \(2-4) PEN/ GFC Ajaccio 3
                        AJA – Fumu Tamuzo 11’ Gragnic 35’ Nabab 37’
                        GFC – M’Madi (PEN) 27’ Pujol 45’+ 1’, 70’

Julien François wonders way up-field which leaves a massive gap in the defence for Fumu Tamuzo on the counter attack. As soon as he gets into the penalty area, he opens up his body and places the ball into the bottom left corner. After a two whole month drought, Ali M’Madi gets a crucial goal for Ajaccio. Grégory Pujol sprints into the box and dummies a shot. The AJ Auxerre defender, Charles Castelletto slides in and catches Pujol on the way through to give away a penalty. The defender’s lucky and only gets a yellow. M’Madi steps up and sends the keeper the wrong way for the equaliser. The ball’s squared to Vincent Gragnic who has all the space in the world to just slot the ball past Maury and into the bottom corner. Only two minutes later, Maury makes a great save and the ball rolls out to Rodéric Filippi who takes an awful touch instead of just clearing it away which allows Livo Nabab to steal it off him and tap it into the open net. Ali M’Madi sprints forward dangerously and slips the ball through the defence for Pujol who sneaks the ball under the keeper to make the score three-two. Ali M’Madi bombs down the wing before turning his marker and delivering a low ball to the back post where Pujol slides in and pokes it home for the equaliser and it takes them into extra time and then into penalties. The first penalty by Auxerre is hit wildly over the bar. Pujol tucks his penalty away into the left corner. Auxerre’s second is sliced far and wide in the heavy snowfall. The keeper guesses the right way but Mayi’s penalty is too high for him and it makes it two-nil on penalties. Auxerre’s third is finally put away and Rivieyran answers back with a neatly taken penalty. If Auxerre miss their next one, they’re out. Auxerre’s forth is just about under the crossbar. If François scores his upcoming penalty, Gazélec win. François takes a big run-up and his smashed effort sends the keeper the wrong way for the win!

                        MOTM: Ali M’Madi (7.9, GFC)

                        Ligue 2

                        GFC Ajaccio 2 – Nîmes Olympique 0
                        GFC – Pujol 18’ Larbi 57’

This game was fairly uneventful except for the two goals. Yoann Andreu delivers a dipping cross into the middle for Pujol to rise above his marker and head the ball into the bottom corner. Twelve minutes later, a clearance from Rodéric Filippi falls to Mohamed Larbi who sprints past the remaining defenders before coolly finishing past a helpless keeper to end the game.

                        MOTM: Rodéric Filippi (9.0, GFC)

                        Coupe Nationale (Round of 32)

                        GFC Ajaccio 2 – Bordeaux 1
                        GFC – Cornet 39’ Pujol 70’
                        BOR – Diabaté 44’

Louis Poggi sprints down the right before holding the ball up. He spots the new signing, Maxwel Cornet, and delivers a low cross to the striker who opens up his foot to get enough on it to direct it past the keeper for his first goal for the club. Five minutes later, Cheick Diabaté manages to receive the ball in space, turn and place it past the rushing Maury for the equaliser. David Ducourtioux takes a corner from the right. The outswinger goes straight to the penalty spot where Pujol makes an amazing run to get away from his marker before nodding the ball into the right corner with ease and he’s only been on four minutes!

                        MOTM: Grégory Sertic (9.3, BOR)

Debuts For: Maxwel Cornet and Mathieu Baudry

                        Ligue 2

                        Stade Lavallois 1 – GFC Ajaccio 3
                        GFC – Pujol 9’ Cornet 53’ Sinapi 75’
                        STA – Bekamenga 17’

An early lead for Gazélec as Cornet delivers a cross into the middle where Pujol rises above his marker to force a great save from the opposition keeper, Lionel Cappone. The ball bobbles out to the centre-back, Adrien Monfray and he tries to clear it but he totally miss-hits it and it flies into the air. The keeper cannot use his hands and he’s out-jumped by Pujol who nods it home for an early lead. Amos Youga’s poor positioning allows Wesley Saïd to cut the ball back across goal for Christian Bekamenga to tap it into the back of the net to level it up. In the fifty-third minute, Maxwel Cornet beats a defender before a gap in the defence allows him to run through it. The last defender tries to tackle him but he’s too quick and he opens his body up to place the ball with his stronger left foot, past the keeper and into the bottom corner to make it two-one to Le Gaz. Pierre-François Sinapi gets his first goal under the management of Bee as he manages to flick the ball past his marker and sprint dangerously into the box where he clinically strikes the ball with his weaker right foot, into the bottom right corner. Sacha Bastien made his debut this match and he was amazing. His six foot five frame kept out two one-on-ones and he made some other great saves and also handled crosses/corners extremely well. In the end, he made eleven crucial saves and he would have been my personal choice for man of the match but Maxwel Cornet played just as well and managed to gain the reward.

                        MOTM: Maxwel Cornet (7.5, GFC)

                        Debuts For: Sacha Bastien

                        Injury News:
David Ducourtioux has suffered a Sprained Ankle and will be out for 3 weeks.

Gazélec Ajaccio’s Player of the Month

                        Grégory Pujol
(13 Goals and 3 Assists in 14 Games)
                        MOTM’s this Month = 0

Despite some great performances by the new signings, Pujol has carried on his tradition of scoring at least once in every match for the past two months. That alone has gained him our Man of the Month award and let’s hope he can keep it up for the upcoming month which is going to be difficult.

                        Managers Thoughts:

This was the month we were looking for! It’s booted us up to joint-first in the league table and we’re in a great position for the coming months. The top three is still extremely tight and teams all the way down to seventh still have a very realistic chance of getting into the top two so we need to be on our game now that we have the required players to really kick-on.

February’s fixture list looks like the most exciting for the fans this season! Our bitter rivals, Bastia in the Coupe Nationale to open the month and then our other rival, AC Ajaccio to end the month!

Kevin Sainte-Luce and Jean-Philippe Gbamin were transfer deadline signings so these two have not had a chance to play yet. Maxwel Cornet has played amazingly as a replacement for Grégory Pujol and he’s a very exciting prospect and could lead to amazing things within the football club if he develops to what we expect him to be. He scored in both the games he played and he also got a man of the match this month too. Sacha Bastien played the last game against Stade Lavallois where he made a massive impact with some great saves. Sacha will be our new first team goalkeeper if he keeps playing the way he is and he still has plenty of time to grow and become even better. Mathieu Baudry has made things a lot tighter in defence but it’s still the weakest part of the team. Mathieu has given us the quality we need at the back to survive in Ligue 2 and hopefully he can continue as an important part of the team.

Our in Form Players: Pujol has managed to score in every game of the month again! Words cannot describe how well he’s doing and his attacking awareness is out of this world! Despite limited game time, Mohamed Larbi and Pierre-François Sinapi have really been amazing as substitutes or as fill-ins due to injury. They both snatched up a goal this month and I’m confident that we have some great substitutes to fall back on.

Our out of Form Players: Amos Youga and Rodéric Filippi are still down in the dumps with their form. Both just either stand on the spot or run around attackers without making a meaningful challenge. Hopefully the competition with Mathieu Baudry and Julien François will snap them out of it.

                          FIFA 15 | PS3 | Season 1 | 2014-15

                          Der Dino

                          Transfers

With new signings such as Pierre-Michel Lassoga, Johan Djourou and Zoltán Stieber all arriving from Hertha BSC, Arsenal and Greuther Fürth, respectively, for a combined £18.200.000, much has already been done to rectify last season's dismal 16th placed finish. Couple that with the departures of Michael Mancienne, Robert Tesche (both to Nottingham Forest fee of £600k for Mancienne. Teshce signed on a free transfer.), Dennis Aogo to Schalke for around £1.500.000 and Hakan Çalhanoğlu to bayer Leverkusen for a fee of £10.000.000. Venezuelan midfielder Tomás Rincón also departed to Genoa on a free transfer.

Dedryck Boyata (RB, 68 Ovr, 23, Belgium) from Manchester City for £600.000

The Belgian wasn't getting much of a look in at English champions Manchester City and so was transfer listed by Manuel Pellegrini. Keane saw the young lad's potential and swooped to bring him in for a bargain £600k. At 23 years old he has plenty of time to improve and his versatility allows him to be an asset at centre half as well. He will be an understudy to Dennis Diekmeier for a couple of seasons at least.

Jean-Christophe Bahebeck (ST, 70 Ovr, 21, France) from PSG on Loan

Looking to bolster his attacking options, Keane next brought in young Frenchman Jean-Christophe Bahebeck as a third striking option behind Pierre-Michel Lassoga and Artjoms Rudnevs. The 21 year old's primary asset is his athleticism making him a perfect super sub to bring on late in games when opponents are tiring.

Pape Abdou Camara (CDM, 70 Ovr, 22, Senegal) from Valenciennes FC for £2.000.000

This Senegalese midfielder is a powerful man with a combination of both strength and speed. He is viewed as a rotational player at the minute by Keane but he will no doubt become the first choice defensive minded midfielder in the future.

Adrien Rabiot (CM, 73 Ovr, 19, France) from PSG for £5.000.000

Viewed as a steal for just £5 million, Adrien has a bright future for both club and country. He is an all round midfielder but his best strengths are his passing abilities. At just 19 years of age he has impressive ball skills but isn't afraid to get stuck in, something that Keane admires very much.

                          Out

Tolgay Arslan (CM, 72 Ovr, 23, Germany) to FC Lorient for £7.000.000

Tolgay left for a big fee of £7 million to French side FC Lorient. He expressed his gratitude to the club for all they have done for him since 2009 and that he looks forward to his new adventure in France.

"Tolgay is a big talent and I would have preferred that he stayed here with us but £7 million is a lot of money and with enough midfielders here already we decided that it was best for both parties to leave him go."

Gideon Jung (CDM, 59 Ovr, 19, Germany) to FC Ufa on Loan

Valmir Nafiu (CF, 60 Ovr, 20, FYR Macedonia) to SC Paderborn on Loan

Alexander Brunst (GK, 55 Ovr, 19, Germany) to Shrewsbury on Loan

Philipp Müller (RW, 59 Ovr, 19, Germany) to SK Sturm Graz on Loan

Jacques Zoua (ST, 67 Ovr, 22, Cameroon) to VfR Aalen on Loan

Matti Steinmann (CM, 59 Ovr, 19, Germany) to SV Grodlg on Loan

Kerem Demirbay (CM, 61 Ovr, 21, Turkey) to Millwall on Loan

Ashton Götz (RB, 50 Ovr, 21, Germany) to Preston on Loan

                          Total spent: £7.600.000
                          Total income: £7.000.000
                          Net spend: £600.000

                          Stieber 80'

Man of the match: Zoltán Stieber (7.5)

•Drobny dived over the top of the ball and when Adeoti jumped over Drobny the ball deflected off Boyata and then off Adeoti into the net.
•Rudnevs leveled with a header from a Kacar cross.
•Féret smashed a low drive in from outside the box which Drobny got a hand to but couldn't keep out.
•Stieber leveled the game again heading in a Bahebeck cross that hit Da Silva and looped up into the air. Perquis was in no mans land and Stieber won the header to score into an empty net.

                          Aug 5, Imtech Arena

•Bahebeck beat Eibar's defensive line getting on the end of a first time ball from Jiracek before slotting home under Jaime.
•van der Vaart had a penalty saved in the 21st minute and then his rebound was also saved.
•He made up for it late on netting his second penalty after Müller was barged over.

                          Player of Preseason

                          Rafael van der Vaart

The Dutchman had a good preseason grabbing a goal and an assist in the 2 games he played. He was also named man of the match in both of the games as he was instrumental in midfield. Whether he was behind the striker or playing in a deeper role he made an impact. Even at 31 he shows no sign of becoming a bit part player just yet.

                          Preseason Recap

Keane tried out different formations during the team's tour of France and when they hosted SD Eibar back in Germany. The default 4-2-3-1 was used against Nice and it worked well but at least one of the defensive midfielders will need to stay back next time it is used as the team was exposed on the counter attack. A 4-3-3 Attack was next to be tested when Keane's second string eleven faced SM Caen. The central midfielders were converted to defensive midfielders sitting 5 yards further back than normal. Hamburg dominated the French but couldn't make their pressure count. The game allowed young players like Mati Steinmann and Kerem Demirbay to get minutes off the bench and allowed potential loan suitors to watch the players in action. The final formation tried was the 4-3-2-1 against SD Eibar. Jean-Christophe Bahebeck got the ST slot and Jonathan Tah got a chance at CB. The Germans controlled the game and set the tempo which visibly pleased Keane on the sideline. His side managed to register 14 shots with 9 on target while Eibar couldn't even muster up one, testament to the strong defence, in which youngster Jonathan Tah was outstanding. The midfield containing star player Rafael van der Vaart, defensive maestro Valon Behrami and the reliable Milan Badelj bossed the ball leading to Hamburg having 61% of the possession. While the Frenchman Jean-Christophe Bahebeck put away his chance when it came and looked lively leading the line ahead of wingers Nicolai Müller and Petr Jiracek.

Recording two draws and a win Keane will be happy not to have lost in his first three games in charge of the team and, having played most of those available to him, will have some idea of his ideal starting eleven and the formation he is going to use. But now it's down to business and the Irish manager will no doubt be relishing the prospect of the upcoming Bundesliga fixtures against FC Köln, Hannover 96 and SC Paderborn to get his competitive reign underway. With two of those three teams newly promoted 6 points and a further 3 against Hannover is surely the aim for Keane and his team.

                          Transfers Recap

I'm happy with my work this window, especially in the departures section. He was able to get all the young players that needed the experience loaned out and off his books for the season. The only major transfer that happened was Arslan to Lorient and I couldn't turn £7 million down. Plus I was able to get Rabiot in which is an upgrade in my view. Bahebeck is for striker depth and Camara for depth but also the future for CDM. Boyata was a cheap option for a backup RB as he was listed by Man City.

                          Starting XI

Subs: Drobny (GK, 76), Cieber (CB, 72), Rabiot (CM, 73), Skjelbred (CM, 74), Beister (RM, 75), Jiracek (LM, 72 Ovr), Rudnevs (ST, 75)

Reserves: Camara (CDM, 70), Ostrzolek (LB, 73), Stieber (RM, 71), Rajkovic (CB, 72), Kacar (CDM, 71), Boyata (RB, 68), Bahebeck (ST, 70), Tah (CB, 69)

Indi: November was a rough month, but saving the two draws was nice to get some points against tougher teams. December was better taking points in all games and only drawing the one. January was huge though! Finally hitting some great form. Boga is a good signing that could really turn into a good player for you with time. He's got good pace and stamina that will only get better. You finished the season on a down note though dropping a lot of points down the stretch. Still, qualifying for Europa is a nice finish and I think you have a squad that can really compete in it next year.

                            Cruzerr:
Schalke - Really impressive work with your January transfers. Even though Simp isn't a fan, Khedira on a free is a nice signing. Interesting move to sell Boateng, but like you said you were looking at the future and had to make a sacrifice.

Burnley - February was a good month, only falling to United, but getting a good win against Liverpool. You're up to 9th, but I think you have a good chance to push for a Europa spot if you find the right form.

Blue Eagle: Hull City is a good choice seeing as they just got relegated in real life. The challenge to avoid the same fate will be a good one considering the competition in the Premier League. Nice fee for Jelavic who wasn't going to get any better and a really nice return for N'Doye. Butland is a great keeper of the future option, and is still good enough to be effective right away in the Premier League. Big money signing with Benteke, but the guy has a good all around game and I think he will score in bunches for you. Munir is young and exciting and should be a good depth player for you this season.

Lots of draws to start off the season, those types of streaks are always frustrating. Losing to Spurs is a let down, but they are a tough team still. It sucks to get them so early rather than one of the lower league teams. October really hurt though, and now you are really having to face the challenges that you would expect with Hull. Still above the relegation line, a couple good performances should get you some breathing room though.

Simppu: You really started to separate yourself in the second half of the season, and Bacca was an immediate impact for you which was good to see. April was another strong month, and the Copa del Rey was a dominating performance to take home the cup! Bacca continues to impress. You really let Real back in there at the end! If you hadn't of kept that draw against them they would have won the league! But congratulations on winning the double! The added drama just have been something else.

10cabee: Good performances all around, but a tough match up against Marseille to get knocked out of the cup. You played them really well to hold them to just 1 goal though. I don't think promotion will be any trouble for you this season! Your defense really started to struggle in November, but even with the poor month you are still just 3 points off of the lead. Better results in December though, and you moved the lead to just 2 points. Some nice all French transfers. Great win on penalties in the Coupe Nationale! Tied for the league lead and trending upwards.

                            Keano:
Wycombe - October was a good month aside from the Capital One cup against Aston Villa. Always going to be tough to knock out a Premier League team though with a lower club. A lot of draws in November, but you were unbeaten on the month so there's not too much wrong with that. If just a few of those had gone your way you would really be challenging for the 2nd spot. Plymouth looks to be running way with the title though.

HSV - Good ole Roy Keane going to Germany. I imagine lots of yelling and screaming I like that you went for youth with your signings.

Jamie: Liverpool is back! Great results in month 1, and I like your transfers. Bringing in Clyne to replace Johnson is a fantastic move. Kovacic is a quality player too that will only keep getting better.

Quazar: Interesting career concept with building up from a collection of low Spanish players. This looks like it will be one of the most challenging careers I've ever seen based on the roster and on your transfer budget.

Sportsfreak: Fulham is a solid team in terms of potential, and you made some nice additions as well. Good job taking two early wins and only giving up a draw. I imagine you will stay around the top of the table all season.

                            Southernmetalhead:
Rubin: Some impressive scoring performances to start the season, and it's not a surprise to see you take all the points when your attack is performing like that. Sucks about the injuries, those Wimbledon players sure to play dirty, it must be their manager Aside from the Kuban game, your assault on the opponents goal continued the next month. Spartak looks to have remained perfect so far, hopefully they start dropping some points soon.

Lazio: Don't know why, but I've always liked Lazio. One of those teams that could really be turned into a powerhouse with the right management and some smart purchases.

Chico: Gomez really was on your bad sad wasn't he? Shame that it worked out so poorly, but you signed him for free and sold him for 4.4M, not bad. Shame about Nono, he starts out as a really solid player and if he had grown he could have been a great player for you. Great job in the Copa del Rey against Barca! You didn't lose to them in either leg and controlled the entire match up. Losing to Almeria in between is almost not even noticeable because of the results around it. Real's attack ended up being just too much though in the next round. Grimaldo! A really good young player for you there. He could become a great long term player for you.

Regens: Arsenal really is one of the most talented squads in the league. If they could stay healthy for a year, Wenger would have them challenging for titles. I really like your transfer targets, some of them would be huge for you and really complete the squad. Just saw your next update, Begovic is a fantastic addition and a great solution to your needs in goal. Schar is a stud, and will become a world class player for you in the center. Schneiderlin is a player that Arsenal really needed a player of his style, so that is a great signing as well. Selling Giroud to Tottenham certainly adds some intrigue when that fixture comes up on the schedule.

Moose: I am behind a few episodes on your updates. I did try to watch your live stream though. Glad that you put the video out. Once I get some time though I am going to catch up and comment on it!

                                QPR CAREER MODE

Harry Redknapp resigned today after a successful season resulting in QPR being promoted to the Premier League. No one knows what prompted him to do such a thing however the favourite to be his successor is a highly rated candidate. Although he hasn't got any managerial experience of such, RetroHype is a young manager with creative ideas that is believed to be good enough to keep QPR in the premier league.
