Balotelli missed the first chance of the game after 15 minutes. A wonderful build up culminated with Balotelli's shot travelling just wide of the post. Sterling gave us the lead when Sturridge played through a wonderful ball for Raheem to tuck in into the bottom corner. Sturridge made it 2, running into the box and blasting a powerful effort into the roof of the net. Oviedo got sent off for a bad tackle on Clyne, making Everton's task even harder. Coutinho got the third with a calmly placed first time effort into the bottom corner. Victory in the Merseyside derby!

Spurs came out firing. Eriksen forced the most unbelievable block from Sakho, sliding in and getting a toe to the ball to force it onto the post. Lamela then came close, his header hitting the bar and bouncing down onto the line before being cleared away. They finally got a goal, Kane firing in past a motionless Leno, who should have saved it. The game was uneventful between then and the last minute, Adebayor firing into an empty net after Leno passed it straight to him from a goal kick.

Eremenko had the first chance of the game for the Russian side, skipping past Clyne and firing just wide. Balotelli forced Akinfeev into a great save with a curling effort. Butland, making his debut as Leno is cup tied, made a wonderful stop to prevent a header going to their striker. Soon after, Sterling was played through but had a disappointing effort that was easily stopped. The deadlock was broken with a stunning 25 yarder from Balotelli, into the top corner. CSKA came at us in the second half, Butland making a good stop to deny Dzagoev and Musa firing over the bar. Wernbloom came very close to equalising late on, his shot hitting the top of the bar.

Lambert opened the scoring with a goal from a brilliant assist. Borini collected the ball and backheeled it through the defenders legs to Lambert, who placed it beyond the keeper at the near post. Maynard put a volley wide for Cardiff before Ecuele Manga was sent off for a tackle on Can who had skipped through the defence and was about to shoot. Lambert stepped up and scored the resulting penalty. Lambert came close to completing his hat-trick, slicing wide of the post from just inside the box. He finally got his hat-trick, firing in first time after Borini unselfishly squared the ball when running clear on the counter. Whittingham pulled one back, smashing in to the corner after some good passing. Lambert headed in the fourth from Keita's looping cross.

The first half was rather dull, Nolan firing wide from a free kick being the only chance until Sterling was brought down by Henry. Balotelli stepped up and fired in the penalty. In the second half Sturridge missed a great chance and a shot miraculously saved by Guzan. He finally scored, taking a touch to beat the defender before firing into the far corner with the outside of his boot. He got his second when Moreno dispossessed Cresswell and raced into the box before pulling it back for Sturridge to fire in. Downing pulled one back on the rebound after his initial volley was magnificently saved. Balotelli made it 4 from the spot again, Demel bringing Sturridge down.

Lambert got the only goal of the game against his former club, firing in after Borini was brought down. Borini missed an unbelievable chance, firing wide after a wonderful one-two with Lambert. Leno made a great save to stop a Duricic header and then another to deny Enrique. Pelle fired just wide for Southampton before Wanyama forced a great save with a brilliant overhead kick.

Bradford Jamieson is the second American to join the club under Berhalter. If he turns out anywhere as successful as Cody Cropper then he will be a great addition for the club. He provides an element of pace from the striker position that has been missing. He will wear the #9 shirt.

LM, Brandon Barker, 61 OVR, England, 18 yrs old - £775,000 from Manchester City

Brandon Barker comes to Portsmouth from the Manchester City youth academy. While he is a promising player, it is unlikely that he was ever going to break through at the club. He is another player with pace to burn and will help transform the attack into a constant threat on the counter.

RB, Todd Kane, 67 OVR, England, 21 yrs old - Loaned from Nottingham Forest

Kane is a Chelsea youth product who has most recently spent his time at Nottingham Forest. He is a strong right sided defender who should excel in the lower leagues of English football despite his age. He should see the majority of the time over Olufemi.

LB, Andy Kellett, 65 OVR, England, 21 yrs old - Loaned from Bolton Wanderers

Kellett is a left sided defender who was brought in to fill the void left by the retirement of Nicky Shorey. He through Bolton Wanderer's academy and recently went on loan to Manchester United to play for their youth teams. He will likely split the job on the left side with Dan Butler.

I was hesitant about dropping Riesgo from the starting lineup but Rodriguez was just playing way too good to only be playing 1 or 2 games a month with the B-Team. Now with the First Team he continues to be playing extremely well. When the opposing team gets near our goal I'm always confident that Rodriguez has it covered, something that I wasn't with Riesgo anymore. He will continue to play an important role for us next year.

Because he's naturally a RW I'm disappointed that he didn't get any goals or assists this season but he was always solid at the back so I can't argue. He had a good season and will continue to play an important role for us next year. I want to start using him in a more attacking role but there simply isn't room yet.

Our big leader in defense. He's still going strong and anything in the air is his. There were a couple times where he wouldn't jump at all and sometimes it cost us, but overall he had a good season. He's one of our most experienced players and will continue to play the same role next year.

LCB - Ignasi Miquel (Spain) (75 OVR 25yrs) (+2): 9/10

Another player promoted from the B-Team. He really surprised me this year. I thought he would only start while I looked for another centre back but I ended up not bringing in anyone and just keeping him there. He's fast, he's tall, and he's not afraid of getting in front of a shot. Seriously most of our blocked shots were his. Real good stuff from the former Arsenal player and he will continue to play the same role next year.

LB - Alejandro Grimaldo (Spain) (75 OVR 22yrs) (+1): 8/10

Money well spent. He was very very solid at the back but also dangerous when pushing forward. His crosses always went where I wanted them too and his tackles were often accurate. A really important player in our lineup and I plan to use him in the same role next year. I want to try him out in a more attacking role but then who would start at LB?

CDM - Sergi Darder (Spain) (75 OVR 24yrs) (+1): 8/10
38 Appearances - 1 Goal & 2 Assists
A bit inconsistent in the 4-4-2 formation but once I changed to 4-3-3 Holding he really came into his own. Not a natural defensive midfielder but he can intercept and pass which makes him effective. His tackling is decent enough too. I have considered replacing him, but nothing for sure yet. He will most likely play the same role until at least January.

RCM - Jose Campaña (Spain) (78 OVR 24yrs) (+3): 9/10

Speaking of players that came into their own this guy really surprised me. Once we changed to 4-3-3 he became a great playmaker and a constant threat in attack. Most of his assists came after the formation change. No chance of him going anywhere I plan to continue using him in the same role next year.

LCM - Roberto Torres (c) (Spain) (75 OVR 29yrs) (+1): 8/10
Naturally a CAM

This season was his worst as far as goal scoring and most of his goals either came from the penalty spot or a free kick. When I had him playing RM he wasn't as dangerous as he was last season, where he also played RM. He was more of a team player this season. After the formation change he became much more effective though so I plan on using him in the same role next year and hopefully get more goals out of him.

RW - Ulises Davila (Mexico) (72 OVR 27yrs) (+2): 9/10
Naturally a CAM
42 Appearances - 13 Goals & 7 Assists
Another player promoted from the B-Team. Excellent season, first being the B-Team's main man and top goal scorer at ST and then being just as dangerous with the First Team despite playing on the wing now. He even scored in the final! Dropping Palacios for him was a great move and I never looked back. He will play the same role next season.

LS - Guillermo (Spain) (81 OVR 25yrs) (+3): 10/10
38 Appearances - 34 Goals & 6 Assists
Truly remarkable season! His best yet. His best goal scoring record was 28 goals in my first season and this year he finally broke that mark. Playing as the only striker in 4-3-3 really made him stand out even more and his goal scoring really took off. He even started assisting goals too which is always good to see. Next year he will play the same role and if I end up changing formations again now I know to keep playing with only one striker. I'm really disappointed he wasn't including in the league's Team of The Year or even the Spanish National Team for the World Cup. He's easily one of the best Spanish strikers in the league right now!

LW - Isma Lopez (Spain) (76 OVR 28yrs) (+1): 7/10
38 Appearances - 8 Goals & 2 Assists
The only natural winger in the lineup and it was always good to have the option to use skill moves and take off down the wing. I had nothing negative to say about the lad but I will be looking for a replacement next season that way he can work full time over at Keano's from now on. Real good season though, and I hope he continues to excel with Keano.

He started the season on fire but burnt out by the closing months. Overall he had a good season but being involved in the B-Team crisis certainly doesn't look good. Next season he will continue to play with the B-Team and I will be considering any offers that come in. If at any time he informs me that he's unhappy then I will have to let him go. No need in holding him back when it looks like Rodriguez won't be letting go of the starting spot anytime soon.

RB - Ivan (Spain) (74 OVR 24yrs) (+1): 7/10

He was great, possibly his best season yet, but I'm still disappointed with his slow growth. His only stat growth came in May. He plays really good though, ever since I removed the "always overlap" instruction he's been one of our top players on the field. He could be our First Team starter but he needs to grow a little more. I hope next season he finally breaks out and begins to develop his game a little more.

RCB - Miguel Flaño (c) (Spain) (71 OVR 33yrs) (-1): 8/10

Our fearless leader. Been at the club since 2004 and I would love to let him retire with us but he wants to keep playing. He will be vital in the growth of our recent youth graduate Garcia who will have a chance at being our B-Team starter next to Flaño.

LCB - Pedro Bigas (Spain) (75 OVR 27yrs) (+2): 9/10
29 Appearances - 2 Assists
When he first signed on I had my doubts and he was even demoted to the reserves, but this season he's really stepped up and I really like him. Solid at LCB, a decent option for LB, and he's even done a great job in midfield as a defensive midfielder. In fact, I used him as a second half sub in midfield in the Champions League Final and he broke down several PSG attacks. I really want him to stay, but despite receiving more game time he's still unhappy and wants to be transfer listed. I want him to stay but it looks like I will have to let him go.

LB - Xavier Quinti (Spain) (71 OVR 21yrs) (+4): 9/10
**Showing Great Potential

This was his try-out year and the kid has really surprised me. After he accepted the contract extension I saw that he's showing great potential which I really wasn't expecting. Looks like I was correct in offering him a new contract. Looking forward to seeing him grow even more and maybe see him with the First Team in the near future.

RDM - Miguel Olavide (Spain) (71 OVR 22yrs) (+2): 8/10
33 Appearances - 1 Goal & 2 Assists
A good season from our homegrown player in which he finally earned a starting spot with the B-Team by besting Oier. He will continue to play the same role next year unless one of our youth graduates steps up. Technically he's a youth graduate too so it won't be too easy to take his place.

*LDM - Paré Bulhões Vinuesa Ramos (Spain) (77 OVR 19yrs) (+2): 7/10
**Has Potential To Be Special
32 Appearances - 2 Assists
A big player that excels in defending but not much else. He'll win aerial battles all day and when it's his day he's a wall in midfield but his biggest issue was committing fouls in the wrong places. More often than not he would commit a foul at the edge of the box and it would cost us a goal from a free kick. Other than that he had a decent season. Once his physical stats start growing he will really become an important player on the field.

RM - Sisi (Spain) (71 OVR 34yrs) (-2): 8/10
36 Appearances - 3 Goals & 4 Assists
***Retiring at end of next season
Despite his age and his consistent drop in physical stats he's still a fast player and fun to use on the wings. His crossing is really good but the B-Team didn't have the right striker to take capitalize from them. He is retiring next season but as long as he keeps his form up he will continue to start with the B-Team.

LM - Marcos Alonso (Spain) (71 OVR 27yrs) (+1): 7/10
Naturally a LB
22 Appearances - 3 Goals & 1 Assist
He's not very fast but he's still fun to use on the wing. His crossing is great and I consider him one of the biggest reasons Quinti was able to develop the way he has. As long as he keeps his form up he will play the same role next year as Quinti continues to gain experience behind him.

*CAM - Luis Martinez (Spain) (75 OVR 17yrs) (+3): 9/10
**An Exciting Prospect

His first full season with the club and he already established himself as a unique player. He has a big responsibility now though; he's expected to lead our attack and at only 17 years of age I hope it's not too big a burden. If he can pull through there's a big future for him both with our First Team and even the national team. Next year he will play the same role.

ST - Federico Palacios (Spain) (72 OVR 22yrs) (+3): 8/10
39 Appearances - 9 Goals & 12 Assists
Wasn't too hot this season and couldn't even score 10 goals. He felt like the First Team's weakest player and when he went down to the B-Team it didn't get any easier for him. He was our top assister this year though so gotta give him that. Next year he will continue to play with the B-Team, but probably out on the wing or deeper in midfield.

I think it's time for him to go. I still haven't decided if it will be permanently or on loan, but for sure he won't be here next season.

I might hang on to him next season and see how he does with the reserves. With Bigas close to leaving the club I will need another option for defensive midfield on the bench.

I'm actually sad he's retiring. He was a starter for me in my first season and he's continued to be important for the club even in the reserves. He has really high stamina and can play in midfield or as a fullback. It will be difficult to find another player as flexible as him. I thought he still had a couple seasons left in him but being dropped to the reserves must have played a factor in his decision to retire. He will be missed.

RW - David Ferreiro (Spain) (69 OVR 30yrs) (+1): 6/10

A quick player on the wings similar to Sisi. He will play the same role next year and compete for a wide midfielder spot with the B-Team.

Despite his low overall he always comes through when given the chance to play. I use him mainly as a striker because of his size and also because that's where he plays IRL. He will play the same role next year and compete for a spot in the B-Team with Santana and Palacios.

Sadly I wasn't able to give him many opportunities with the B-Team, but the one time he was brought into a match he delivered a fantastic game and finished off with a goal. I was surprised because he's a bit slow for a winger, but somehow he was always in dangerous positions. I might loan list him so he can get more play time, but that one game he played with us may just be enough to let him stay.

With Bigas leaving he has a shot at becoming our starting LCB with the B-Team. Miguel Flaño's leadership and experience will be key in his development. I'm expecting great things from this tall centre back and I hope he can grow enough to make it to the national team in the next couple seasons.

No doubt about it Guillermo was our best man this season. We always knew he had it in him, but this year he really stepped up and saved us many times. He put the team on his shoulder when the rest of the team couldn't keep up with the opposition. He also scored his 100th goal with Osasuna in the Champions League Final! What better way to break that mark. He's been here since my first season so I was really glad to see him called up to the Spain NT during the final Friendlies of the year. Spectacular season from our main striker he truly deserves the award.

Conclusion
Expect a transfer window with several players departing and very little coming in. I guess my typical transfer windows :P I'm looking forward to seeing youth graduates with the B-Team which will have changes in the lineup. The First Team will remain the same though with only Lopez being replaced.

Next season may be Guillermo's last with the club. He's our best player and has carried the team many many times, so in order to keep things interesting I am preparing myself to let him go. If we win the league next season, or if we don't but he wins the Golden Boot, I will accept an offer from a club he'll get play time at. His replacement would either be a non-La Liga Spanish striker, a youth graduate, or MAYBE one of the lower rated strikers from the Mexico national team that I like but don't get to use as often with the NT. So what do you think? I think the requirements I have set for him to leave are fair.

That's all I have right now. My next post will strictly be Mexico as we fight in the World Cup where I'm expected to reach the Semifinals. Let me know what you think and

So I'm finally back from vacation and I am close to reading all of the the updates that I missed. I have to say congratulations to everybody that won silverware and I'm impressed with how well everyone is doing. I will have a Hull update out at some point in the coming days.

Fogden used some good ball skills to cut the ball into the box and fire a shot into the top right corner. Wallace got the ball through on the right side of the box and he beat his man to hit a shot off the left post and in. Hollands got the ball at the top of the box and he took a touch before hitting a rocket into the top left corner.

Fogden came down the right wing and threaded the ball through to Hollands on the edge of the box and he used his left foot to hit the ball into the top left corner.

Manager Comments

Transfer Movement - We sent out two key players in Andy Barcham and West Fogden, but we are happy with what we got in return. Barcham was our leading goal scorer last season, but I think we have the pieces in place to fill that void. The offers we got for each were well above what we had our own valuations at and we just weren't able to walk away. George Francomb on a free is a player that will make an immediate impact at this club. The additions of Jamieson IV and Barker will also be huge factors in replacing the goal output of Barcham.

Strong Start - We got off to a strong start in league play and we are at the top of the table. With the increase in competition it is tough to say if we will maintain that spot all season like we did last year, but I think we are up for the challenge. I believe we are better than we were last season, and we will need every bit of talent on this squad to make it through our tough fixture schedule this season.

Cup Competitions - Strong wins over Morecambe and MK Dons got us off to a great start in both the Capital One Cup and the J. Paint Trophy. We went out earlier than we hoped for in both of these last season, and we hope that we can do better this season.

Chico Congrats on the Champions League title. Beating Juventus, Barcelona, and PSG to capture it is super impressive. Also nice 3rd place finish in La Liga. Guillermo is quite the player for you.

texasbum Awesome run you had to win the FA Cup. Beating those Premier League sides like you did is something special. Also, congrats on being promoted to League One. 33 goals from Barcham is quite the output for a midfielder. You've started off well in League One and advanced in your cup competitions, so things are rolling right along.

Pdice Good month with only the loss to Swansea City. Clean sheets against West Ham, Arsenal, and Newcastle are good results and you advanced in your cup competitions. Keep it up!

jamiec The league table is tight with you tied with Chelsea on points and them holding a game in hand, but maybe you can hold them off. Your league form was solid despite the loss to Spurs, and wins in the Champions League and FA Cup are nice to see.

A very disappointing performance from the home team as they couldn't break down a resolute Sunderland defence. After not threatening Forster much of the game, the visitors found their goal through Seb Larsson after Forster made a save but could do nothing with the rebound. The Saints couldn't find the equaliser as they lost their first game at home.

The top two sides in the RFPL squared off in a Russian Cup Quarterfinals match up as Rubin Kazan played CSKA Moskva. Rubin started the contest with a quick goal in the 6th minute when Marko Dević stole the ball from CSKA's Mário Fernandes and found Alisher Dzhalilov who beat Igor Akinfeev with a shot. Seydou Doumbia came close to equalizing the game in the 29th minute, but his chance went just wide left of the goal. Rubin tacked on another tally in the 43rd minute when Artur Yusupov's shot redirected off of defender Alexey Berezutskiy and got by Akinfeev for an own goal. In the 53rd minute Rubin was awarded a penalty after Fernandes took down Gökdeniz Karadeniz in the box, and Dević converted the opportunity to give manager Rinat Bilyaletdinov's side a commanding 3-0 lead. Former Rubin player Roman Eremenko would get CSKA on the score sheet a minute later, but this was not enough for the capital city club as Rubin advanced to a Semifinals face off with Dinamo Moskva.

For the second time this season, Rubin Kazan met up with their long-time manager Kurban Berdyev as The Tatars traveled to face struggling FC Rostov. Serdar Azmoun put Rubin ahead 1-0 in the 9th minute of play, and Marko Livaja doubled the lead just 3 minutes later. Livaja then secured his brace in the 27th minute when he beat his Croatian countrymen Stipe Pletikosa with a shot after a bad back pass from Vitaliy Dyakov. Rostov's Ruslan Abazov took down Shota Bibilov in the box in the 40th minute, and Rubin was awarded a penalty for the third consecutive game. With regular penalty taker Marko Dević resting, defender Ruslan Kambolov was the man to take the chance, and he did not waste his opportunity. Rostov would get a penalty of their own after a bad challenge by Rubin's Mamuka Kobakhidze, and Alexandr Bukharov got the home side on the board by beating Alexandr Filtsov. This would not be nearly enough for Rostov however, as Blagoy Georgiev scored in the 79th minute of play to finalize a dominating performance by Rubin.

Just 10 days after Rubin Kazan had defeated Dinamo Moskva in league play 2-0, the two sides met up again in Moscow in the Semifinals of the Russian Cup. Rubin would see a couple of early chances go wanting in this match before Dinamo pounced to take the lead with a goal just before the halftime whistle. Mathieu Valbuena got a shot on goal that forced a parry from Rubin goalkeeper Sergey Ryzhikov, but Kevin Kurányi was there to clean up the rebound with a header. With less than 15 minutes to go in the match, Rubin finally got an equalizer from Artur Yusupov in the 76th minute. This was Yusupov's first goal for Rubin since coming over from Dinamo in January, and it could not have come at a better time. Marko Dević tried to end the game with a chance in the 87th minute, but Dinamo goalkeeper Vladimir Gabulov was up to the task and made the save. Dević would not be denied though, and the Ukrainian striker scored shortly into extra time with a 94th minute deciding goal. Dinamo would get chances from Yuriy Zhirkov in the 97th minute and Fedor Smolov in the 101st minute, but they could not crack Ryzhikov as Rubin advanced to face Spartak Moskva in the Russian Cup Final.

Spartak would strike first in this game when Alberto Costa sent a shot from the top of the box that Rubin goalkeeper Sergey Ryzhikov got his finger tips on, but was unable to stop. Rubin equalized in the 53rd minute as Artur Yusupov scored his second goal in as many games from a throw-in by Gökdeniz Karadeniz. The turning point of the game came in the 56th minute when Spartak's Roman Shirokov was sent off with his second yellow card. Shirokov had been sent off as well in the sides' previous match up, so manager Murat Yakin was definitely not happy with the Russian National Team captain. Marko Livaja would make Spartak pay with a goal just 3 minutes later, and despite missing a late penalty, Rubin continued their winning ways with the 2-1 victory.

Perhaps the grueling month of April finally caught up to Rubin Kazan as The Tatars looked listless in a 1-0 loss to Zenit St. Petersburg at Petrovsky Stadium. Zenit would get early chances from Joãozinho and Alexandr Kerzhakov that were stopped by Rubin goalkeeper Sergey Ryzhikov before Zenit goalkeeper Yuriy Lodygin parried a Carlos Eduardo shot in the 41st minute. Ryzhikov then stopped shots from Javi Garcia and Kerzhakov again before finally being beaten on a header from a corner by Luís Neto in the 59th minute. Rubin's only chance to equalize came in the 65th minute, but Carlos Eduardo sent his opportunity wide of goal. This marks only the second time this season that Rubin has failed to score a goal in a match.

This month's Player of the Month award was closer than it has been in some time, but Marko Dević again takes home the honor as he squeaked by fellow striker Marko Livaja. It was not a vintage month for the Ukrainian international as he only tallied 3 goals, but Dević did score the biggest goal as he got the extra time winner over Dinamo Moskva in the Russian Cup Semifinals to see Rubin Kazan advance.

Manager's Thoughts
That month was an absolute meat grinder as we faced quality sides CSKA Moskva and Dinamo Moskva in the Russian Cup while getting Dinamo, Spartak Moskva, and Zenit St. Petersburg in the league. Overall, we did very well as we are now in the Finals of the Russian Cup and still hold top spot in the RFPL. I think in our loss to Zenit, we just ran out of gas after such a busy schedule. Still, our destiny is in our own hands, and that is all we can ask for. CSKA is right behind us in the league, but we look to finish no worse than 2nd, which would ensure us a Champions League spot. However, I definitely want to win the league and take home the cup to complete the domestic double.

Gaztañaga Sidelined 3 Months
Rubin Kazan defensive midfielder Jon Gaztañaga suffered a broken toe in the club's 2-0 league win over Dinamo Moskva and will be out 3 months with the injury. The 23-year-old Spaniard arrived in Kazan in January from Liga BBVA side Real Sociedad and has been a regular contributor to manager Rinat Bilyaletdinov's squad.

Well here it is, the final month of the season and it's a huge one. We start off the month with a massive home contest against CSKA Moskva. CSKA is currently 3 points behind us in the league table, so if they beat us we'd be all even, although we would still be in 1st on goal differential. Then we face last place Arsenal Tula which seems like an automatic win, but we drew 2-2 with them in Tula. The Russian Cup Final against Spartak Moskva follows that, and we would love to take home the club's second cup title. The final game of the season is at 4th place side Kuban Krasnodar, a team that beat us 2-0 in Kazan. May will certainly test what we're made of, but in the end my goal is simple: Win the league and the cup. Can we do it?

Ok guys, I've tried to stick with the Leverkusen career but I'm afraid its lost the x factor for me now. It's a real shame because I'm in the process of building a quality team, and some of the players I have are really good. But some niggly things have dissuaded me from continuing, most notably the lack of licensing of the Bundesliga. For some reason EA have given nearly every German team the same stadium which really annoys me, as it just feels no different playing away from home. As I said a few days ago I would try to find another job, but for some reason no clubs would accept me, other than lower sides in the Bundesliga which i don't want.

As a result, I will be starting another career, and I think it will be spain. The whole Basque thing seems really interesting, something that I've never done before. I don't really want to go into the Adelante, so I think my club of choice will be Eibar. They got relegated irl, so it will be a tough task. I also want to try out this whole 'a team', 'b team' strategy, as it seems to be a good way of using a wider range of players, something I've opted against previously as I've always felt that the best players should be playing practically every game, thus hardly ever rotating the squads.

If I do go ahead with Eibar, then I shall intend on using the Basque regulations. Otherwise, I think it will probably be Almeria, as their kits are very nice, in which case I will simply stick to Spanish/ latin American players.

I will hopefully update u guys over the next few days with the new career. In the mean time, could one of you already using the Basque regulations or indeed previous users of the system, point me in the direction of a way of finding a list of purely Basque players.

I'm sure you'll be pleased to hear, because I sure am, Eibar have not been relegated. Elche have been relegated in their place for financial reasons, therefore reinstating Eibar. It's a shame Elche had to go down like that, but I can't say I'm not glad to see Eibar staying in La Liga

Btw guys, if any of you were wondering, Brentford will be back at the end of my current season with Liverpool. Also, Regens, I have decided to opt out of the rivals career, considering Cruzerr can't play anymore.

If I do go ahead with Eibar, then I shall intend on using the Basque regulations. Otherwise, I think it will probably be Almeria, as their kits are very nice, in which case I will simply stick to Spanish/ latin American players.

I will hopefully update u guys over the next few days with the new career. In the mean time, could one of you already using the Basque regulations or indeed previous users of the system, point me in the direction of a way of finding a list of purely Basque players.

Love it!!!! To be honest I didn't remember that Eibar is a Basque club and I really like that you will use a Bilbao-type policy. So the rule is that only players that are from the Basque regions of Spain and France are eligible for the squad. If a player is not Basque, but was trained in a Basque youth academy (so a non-Basque youth player from Bilbao, Sociedad, Osasuna, Eibar etc) they are also eligible for the squad. I do not have a list of all the Basque players in the game, but here's a link to the Basque national team which has the current squad, recent call ups, and eligible players listed.

Really looking forward to seeing you come to Spain. I'm at Osasuna, another Basque club, but my transfer policy is widened to not only Basque players but Spanish players which is more similar to Guadalajara's transfer policy. As many of you know I don't make many signings so I put a strong focus on the youth academy.

Hey guys, long time. It's been insane adjusting to life in Moscow. Aside from learning the language and exploring the city, I've had to deal with the massive amount of racism that exists once I leave my upper-class neighbourhood. Any trip into the city usually has 2-3 incidents along the 40-minute journey, mostly on the metro or bus. I haven't had any problems once I'm in the actual city, but I've been spending most of my time at museums and coffee shops.

I've also been sucked into The Witcher: Wild Hunt, so much so that it's been ages since I've even touched FIFA. I do plan to keep up my career mode with Sunderland, which is at around mid-September, but there won't be much flourish or creativity. It'll just be major news, results and a monthly table. And at the end of each season, I'll do a detailed season review and preview. Sorry about this, but between life and work, I just don't have the kind of time I used to.

Ok I've started it with Eibar, but I feel the Basque regulations may be too severe on me with only limited funds. I shall instead just keep it a purely Spanish setup, with possibly extensions out into South America, but no further. I shall hopefully post the first update tomorrow
