Just played my first game using Matt's sliders, slow speed and increasing the game time (used to have it quite low)....LOVED IT!

I was so annoyed with the game on default settings, but this has really made a difference. Can't wait to keep playing it now!!

2-1, but maybe a tad easy as I've got it on Pro. Might take a step up to World Class

Not really. Pass error higher definitely helps the less forward-forward. In terms of fouls, still exploring a higher height, without breaking the solid shape we're seeing.

Shouldn't take too long, just have to make sure it transfers to all leagues.

Hi all, you guys have been incredibly nice and useful, but I love real feeling of the body of the plauyers and the ball.

I'm back at FIFA 16 and love it a TON more than this.

I'll keep following but

The game is too fast (46 to 49 as speed and acceleration are too fast no matter what)

The ball seems to have no physics, it's just remotely controlled to go where you send it...

I'm so unpleasantly surprised by the limits of fifa 17...

Sorry for wasting your time, but I wonder if I'm the only one..

Thanks. I will try it tonight. I like the OP set bit it is just to - what is the word - boring. Not to be disrespectfull. Maybe see it as credit, you have simulating real life football. The thing is I can't go more than 10 min. halves and therefore there is simply a lack of action. I am - like fluffy said - willing to concede som degree of realism to get more action. I my last 10 matches i have not seen a game with more than 2 goals - with one exception.

Just watching @Aaron458F stream. He wasn't seeing fouls. He lowered shot error to 51 (from your pref. 55) and had 8 total fouls through 71'. (Base Set 5 is 50).

Could shot error be the linchpin to fouls? (Thinking out loud here. Certainly err to your expertise.)

A simple fix to this would be just to create the ever reliable length discrepancy of 45/50 (5 pt length discrep in favor of CPU) and you'll still get a decent balance of shape, while also making the matches less boring. Granted, you may lose some realism, in terms of the CPU's shape, so pay attention to their marking value.

Matt this might help me. Can you explain in a bit more detail what this will do?

I'm finding the game to easy on legendary - want to boost the ai's attacking prowess without improving it'd defensive abilities

This is an interesting page to look at for PL numbers. Obviously you can divide the numbers by 10 to get game averages.

Some things might surprise you.
