Depends where the high pass accuracy is. I played a match and it was like 16 where the CBs were passing amongst each other.

Have to give credit to EA, this is a solid update again. Really enjoying the game and variety it displays.

Had a bit of a FIFA miracle tonight. Across all the games I played not only did I score from a perfectly placed free kick but also scored 2 headers and the CPU got a straight red for a brutal sliding tackle from behind.

Onto sliders. I've been playing with acceleration at 52/52. Not sure if it's made a difference to anything gameplay wise so at the very least I would say it's not impacting anything negatively. Players are a little more tired by the end of the game but nothing drastic.

How do you guys feel about pass speed? I feel like CPU pass speed is nice and slow, as it should, while player pass speed is a tad bit faster, even tho sliders are on the same level for both. Or maybe just my imagination?

Ye went back to 52/52 acceleration, 55/55 pass error after all too, aka pls juszt ignore my last post. But I swear, one of these days i'm gonna make a suggestion that's actually usefull Matt, just you wait!

Lol - Master no, Mattster, sure lol. The sliders as is are still good. However, I do think the 52/52 acceleration is worth a go for Legendary/Ultimate.

Tough call, I feel like it's got good variety, and is well modified by the pass error especially to determine the quality of contact.

Haha, they are all useful. I read through so many pages to get an idea of where we can go. People don't realize, but as vague or as detailed, I try my best to interpret then verify.

Years ago, I tried the most diplomatic way and posted a survey of what slider value should be for this gameplay slider, etc. It took forever, and it was so low in participation. In the end, I got the hint that I was to come up with the base, then we would all work from there.

So every suggestion is 100% useful. Thank you so much for any of them!

Currently really enjoying my CM, building a winning team while trying to stay somewhat realistic is tough, finally figured out how to do the celebration where you run up and hug the manager, +30 yr. old players are viable options this year.

Anyway, I say tweak the sliders only if really necessary because those FIFA moments are always going to pop up now and again no matter how hard we try. If you've stuck with the game this far just find a club and have good time.

What about controls? I know you can do either or, but I'd like to know what Matt prefers or what other people run along with their difficulty.

I've tried World Class with semi-assisted and it's a challenge but I still feel like lesser teams pass better than mine so it's not completely realistic. But Legend with full assisted and i gave the cpu a plus 2 acceleration boost and it feels like it's not much of a challenge.

I just currently went back to assisted on legendary and I get my butt handed to me pretty regularly lol. I just don’t like the way semi or manual are this year. I’ve done both and most of the goals I conceded are on bad passes by me. Probably doesn’t help that I play with crystal palace 😂

Currently I’m using the 50/50 sprint speed with 50/50 acc. Did not like the way 52/52 acc felt. Thinking of moving both humans and cpu pass error and first touch to 56 to see if I can make the game a little more sloppy without losing the integrity of the set posted.

Thanks for the reply. I was using Everton and I beat Watford like 3-0 and Aston Villa 4-2 both on Legendary with Assisted controls. Obviously I feel like Everton has a much better side than those two, especially on FIFA, but going from Semi-Assisted to Full Assisted I feel like I'm going from a little league team to being Barcelona. And the Villa game was really 4-1 but Digne hit in an own goal in the 90th minute. I definitely feel like semi-assisted is more realistic of a feel, but I'm struggling finding the balance when my guys miss passes a lot and the CPU with a weaker side passes at a much higher level. Was wondering if maybe people have lowered the human pass error on semi-assisted.

Anyone else who can chime in with difficulty and controls or adjustments they have made in this regard?

I’m currently enjoying slow speed, World Class difficulty but with two point acc boost for cpu, keeps games tight & competitive, rest OP sliders & semi controls.
