No problem. Biggest adjustment is to the defensive changes. FIFA is going to do FIFA like things always but so far I haven't gotten as frustrated this time around. I still get annoyed from time to time but not on the same level as '19.

I wish I could say the same.

I had a run of 6 Broken Toes in 12 matches. Then at the suggestion of pflynhi, I bumped severity to 45. Things looked good as I didn’t see one for 9 games. Now it has creeped back in and I have had 6 Broken toes in 6 matches. Maddening!

The 3 Week, Knee Knack is a recurring theme now as well.

As jrnlgrn said, the biggest thing is the new defending. I’ve said my few cents worth in the thread before and sound like a broken record but it’s [emoji90]! Some on here are ok with it or have got use to it but I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks it’s a complete lottery at times! I’m sure you will get some experience of it very soon.

same here, still havent had a broken toe, first career mode had this year luke shaw was out for 4 months at the start with a knee injury and ive had a few out for 5 days or so.personally id rather see players out with broken toes than shoulder injuries like in fifa19,i mean this is football not boxing where you would a lot of shoulder issues

Some things I've seen on the patch update are fairly positive:

            - Free kick long balls no longer over-hit, more variety.
            - More aggression by CPU in challenges, they still make perfect foot to ball contact at times though.
            - Referee does indeed recognize fouls by the user it seems.
            - CPU patience and variety in attack. Have seen them hold onto the ball at the top of the box, and even send in a through ball while in the box. Good variety as they go over the top just as often depending on tactics.

Very pleased to hear this. Every time the cpu had a free kick at the halfway line it was inevitable that you would instantly regain possession with a goal kick. It was if they purposely aim for Row Z. Just bizzare.

Yeah, it was a strange one. Hit or miss for me though because I'd read on here that it was happening consistently, then I'd play a couple matches and not see it. Even had a match in my CM where the CPU almost scored from one.

The thing that you will notice right away is that the pace has been toned down on the long ball free-kicks, and the CPU will also try some intermediate chips. Very nice to see.

Honestly, another solid patch imho. Just want to get the CPU-User physicality sorted. I haven't tried the 52/52 acceleration that I was testing the last couple days though, so that may be worth a look. I really enjoyed the fatigue factor playing a big role too.

                        Hello everyone!

New to this forum, however I have been following it for a few days. Since you all seem to know so much on career mode, I had a question I was wanting to ask of you.

Which is harder: Legendary or Ultimate?

I've noticed somewhat throughout the course of FIFA 20, they have been going back and forth if I'm not mistaken? I believe Ultimate used to be very easy and they fixed it, but apparently they made Legendary harder as well? I have played half a season with Chelsea, about 70% on Legendary and 30% on Ultimate and I am just not sure which is harder. It seems very inconsistent and everytime I think one might be harder than the other, the next couple matches change my opinion completely.

So input would be nice, preferably detailed, for example which aspect of the game is harder in which difficulty, if it applies, etc.

Nothing sticks out to me so far. I have a small sample size, under 10 matches, though.

From my testing, I feel like Legendary is harder. The reason is simply because of it adhering to the error values more. I feel that Ultimate kind of ignores those error values and replaces it to make up certain percentages more of a priority. Such as high pass % and high shot %. Basically, it tries to be perfect, but doesn't do much with that. It can be a bit predictable as a result.

I will say though, in further testing, I've raised 52 acceleration for both User/CPU on both Legendary and Ultimate, and have found Ultimate more difficult. I have yet to test Ultimate post patch though.

Just played 3 games with this new update and had a blast . I did make some minor changes to the current set , but the new defending overall definitely is a headache. Got a beautiful chance with a free kick in a very dangerous spot only to find out that the free kick /penalty system has changed since prior fifas and I had no idea what I was doing . Now I gotta learn this new free kick , but overall im really liking this game .

I dont know if I can be of help much but played around 4 games after the latest update on PC. Still playing as Salford City with them being promoted to League One. Played 4 games in Pre Season tournament and I must say enjoyed playing it.No changes made to sliders. First game it was a huge dominating win. But the second match was a close 1-0 win. Then came another final match which I came back from 1-0 down to win around 4-1 and the last 2 goals usually coming in the last 15-20 mins. And then the semis I played just few hours ago agst Plymouth who has been I think demoted to League 2 and won the match with a close margin of 3-2. So overall I am right now very satisfied with the game.
