Re: FIFA 22 OS Community Sliders
Xbox Series X - 15 Minutes Halves - Full Manual Controls - World Class - Slow Speed
By the way, what you mean with "much won't going on"? What's happening? Previous or current gen?
First half of the extra time ended and then those highlights were shown, with the game commentaries, when suddenly it crashed to the Xbox Series X dashboard.
I remember this happened also in a FA Cup match when the second half of extra time ended, before penalties.
Insanely frustrating!Comment

Re: FIFA 22 OS Community Sliders
It happened to me after I had won the Europa League in my previous save. I was taking screenshots of the trophy presentation etc and it kicked me out of the game! It was so frustrating.Comment

The problem with normal speed is that even when using 35/35 Sprint, or even less, like 25/25, it will be faster than slow speed and 53/53. The game becomes even more hectic, not as Ultimate Team, of course, but EXACTLY like the Seasons mode, which uses normal speed, in instead of fast, as the other.

Guys, even though the issue related to pass information is still going on (they will never fix it, at this point), unfortunately it didn't happen here because of that.

So finally come back to 53 sprint speed after update 10?Comment

Re: FIFA 22 OS Community Sliders
Xbox Series X - 15 Minutes Halves - Full Manual Controls - World Class - Slow Speed
Exactly! Absolutely no way back for me. These are the three sliders changes I will permanently stick with:
=====
Sprint Speed: 53/53 - No defensive line integrity issues and at the same time very rare occasions of defenders jockey/shuffle.
Acceleration: 48/48 - Insanely better for the pace and pretty much necessary, mainly when using the above values.
First Touch Control Error: 88/88 - The maximum we can set without seeing forced improper situations, mainly from the CPU. By the way, I didn't say here, but this week I tested again higher values and I just found the same game breaking bizarre plays I witnessed months ago. Even saved some clips to upload here later.
=====
Also, I'm not using Legendary sliders set values for errors for myself anymore like before, because of manual controls. I decided to increase it again to 68 for Shot Error and 58 for Pass Error, like the recommendation. This is because World Class is simply the highest "realistic difficulty" we can have.
Legendary is absolutely broken. CPU will always play the same fast kind of plays, passes, shots, etc. There's no variation or any kind of artificial intelligence improvements! It's a pure arcade experience of who is quicker, not better!
With this in mind, we must nerf ourselves, even on full manual controls. That's the way it is.Comment

Am I wrong or do we have fewer yellow and red cards with these settings back to 53/48? Especially the CPU fouls less.

Definitely! With normal speed everything will be insanely fast!
Still using 35/27 and everything is still fast enough and CPU sometimes will still do their tiki taka moments, but at least in a realistic way. Also, it's much more fair when using manual controls, since they will also commit more mistakes, just like us.Comment

@DoctorActionRio
Damn, it's a shame you feel you can't stay on 35/48, but I don't think I can go to 53/48, it's simply too fast for me. I thought it was 54 sprint speed that almost eliminates CB jockey anyway?
Also, I can't go down to World Class difficulty, as it's too easy for me. I don't find Legendary that bad tbh but that's just imo.Comment

Re: FIFA 22 OS Community Sliders
So… After trying a few different sets, I’ve come up with something that’s made the game a lot more dynamic and fun for me. I noticed the opportunities the CPU would attempt on Spoony’s set with Run Frequency at 64. Teams actually tried to counter attack quickly! But.. I often felt it was too easy to get behind the CPU defense and a few other things that weren’t for me with the set as a whole.
So I came back to the OS set because I really liked the defensive challenge from the CPU and pass speeds, etc. But I kept the Run Frequency idea in mind and decided to experiment with it. I noticed at 30 EVERY team played the exact same way and each game felt the same just against different players. I decided to come up with a simple dynamic system that would give each game a different feel for the USER and CPU.
I use a randomized Run Frequency number for both USER and CPU based upon the teams tactical Width, Build Up, and Chance Creation that changes every game. Ex: I’m playing with Valencia CF who’s width is 50, build up: balanced (+5/-5), chance: balanced (+5/-5). [Width 50 + 10 is the max, 50 - 10 is the low] I then entered 40-60 into a randomized and get a number for that game. Ex from last game 47. If the CPU team is Width 60, Long runs (+10), Forward Runs (+5) = 75 max; and default -10 for low, so 50 for the low. Put 50-75 in the randomized and get the number Ex: 67.
Values I used are:
Long Ball +10
Fast +5
Balanced +5/-5
Slow -10
Forward Runs +5
Direct +3
Balanced +5/-5
Possession -10
I’ll still think of tweaking the value window but so far it’s working and something to build on. The higher run frequency (or lower for some teams like Barcelona [30 width]) with the OS Legendary set on 8 minute halves and I’m enjoying this game more now. This change has done nothing bad to the set or thrown anything out of wack.
Scores so far have been (2-1-2)
2-1
2-1
0-1
1-1
0-1
Pass completion has been between 77-88 for both sides. Shot attempts total have been 15-20 per game both teams combined.Comment
