Re: new to PES
Could someone explain what to look for on transfers and tips on how it works.
Thanks.'Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.'-Bill ShanklyComment

Re: new to PES
After 2 full days with the game and playing 6 Champions League matches with Villarreal, I only have one real gripe. Either I am doing something terribly wrong or the overall passing strength is very inconsistent. Sometimes I tap the button ever so gently and my player boots it, and vice versa.Comment

my gripe as well but I got used to it. Get to know your players because I feel like their passing ratings really come into play regarding this. After 2 full days with the game and playing 6 Champions League matches with Villarreal, I only have one real gripe. Re: new to PES
I'm playing Master League with Derby in the nPower. Not a good team, I know, but when i get in the 35-45m range I feel like I have no time to attack. I feel like my only chance is to one touch pass or hit a through ball because the defenders are coming right at me. I cant attack and use any stepovers off the wingCheck out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.
You too can be a 5* recruit at FSU.......

Re: new to PES
It could be mostly due to the skill level of your players. I've played way more BAL than regular play and I'm often amazed at the difference between controlling my 60-something rated AMF and someone like Fabregas, Nasri, or even Sahin.I'm playing Master League with Derby in the nPower. The game is rather unforgiving towards players with poor technique -- mostly how quickly/accurately you can receive a pass then make a move -- and/or dribble ratings. That can easily make you feel like you are under pressure immediately... your players don't have the skills to make the deft moves you might be attempting or would like to do.Comment

Re: new to PES
I agree that the skill of my players mean I probably can't due many moves or pull off any tricks. I just feel like on the wing or anywhere in the attacking third that rather than shadow the player who has possession, the defense swarms. There is no backing up on defense that you see at every level but an insistence on pushing forward it seems. It could be mostly due to the skill level of your players. Re: new to PES
that's strange. I definitely see when my opponents play defensive and drop almost everyone behind the ball and don't really pressure until I get near the box. That's not to say they never pressure me like crazy because it does happen.I agree that the skill of my players mean I probably can't due many moves or pull off any tricks. Check your option file and look at each team's tactics and style. Maybe the option file maker made every team to pressure?Comment

yeah, I have the feeling that he's using the same OF as me but I'm using Sunderland in my ML and I don't really play down the flanks. Not trying to take on defenders with Malbranque.that's strange. Can you get fired (or promoted) in Master league? I don't imagine you can based on my limited experience, but thought I'd ask.Check out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.

Where do I check this? Do I do it in Master League or in the main menu?that's strange.
