Use either paul's or 7oy's option file for PS3. They're really good from what I've read and from past versions of the game. My problem is that I can't get either of them to work. It's frustrating indeed.

I have done what's called for but they always show up corrupt from PS3. Hopefully you won't have that problem though. Seems I'm one of the few this happens to. Thanks!

Which version of the game do you have? Maybe you're installing the wrong version of it? 7oy's patch doesn't work without the World Challenge DLC, just to let you know.

Well. I'm getting the corrupt file error as well when trying to install 7oy's file. I'm not sure why.

This is what it says in the install instructions..

Please note when copying my option file to your USB copy my PS3 folder that you get in the download onto your USB. Do not create your own PS3 and Savedata folders and paste the contents into them. A number of users have had issues by doing this.

Edit: Problem Solved. I was dragging the BLUS folder into the savedata instead of just the files. Fixed. Great looking OF.

So, you just extracted the individual option files into the SAVEDATA folder & not the entire BLUS folder? Maybe that's my problem. I've been dragging the complete BLUS folder too. I thought with all PS3 game saves you need the folder containing the content inside the SAVEDATA folder. That's the way it works with all other PS3 game saves I've used anyhow. Thanks!

I'm getting ready to try this too. I've been looking for a fix with my corrupted option files problem for a while. Hoping it works!

Edit: Yep! This worked! After all of this time. It was as simple as placing only the individual option files inside the SAVEDATA folder & not the BLUS folder itself. Where did I miss this part from instructions?

Don't know about Paul's, but 7oy's works with the World Challenge DLC.

I've been away from PES for awhile and I've tried to dl a few option files, all of which have fake US players.

Is there a file out there with the real US squad?

7oy has a great option file. He is working on the final update, but you need to have the World Challenge DLC.

He doesn't have the US World Cup Roster finalized yet, but there are still a lot of the players that were expected to make the team.

I think I tried his file and it came up "not compatible" or something


Numerous things updated on my game, a lot of content, data packs and stuff. Is World Challenge DLC part of that or is that something I have to buy? And, if I have to buy it, do I buy it while in game?

No, you have to buy it. It is 4.99 and in the Playstation Store. Well worth it.

Make sure you download 7oy's BLUS file. BLES is for the European Region.
