    Re: PES 2017 Tactics

How do you guys manage to draw fouls and get the CPU to draw fouls? Seems like the CPU's tackles are perfect about 95%, as well as mine. Seeing very little fouls and a ton of tackles. Im a little new to the PES series, just got it last year for the first time, but I like it way more than Fifa. I just can't seem to get very many stoppages. Pretty much the only time I do is on a slide tackle, and thats still 50/50. Im playing on SuperStar by the way.

      Oooh Bundesliga please.

Also a question. If I edit all the teams outside of Master League, do I have to start my save over again?

Amazing set! Cannot wait to play all these teams. Yesterday had a great Arsenal - Chelsea game, after which I checked the real life stats and they were nearly identical (20 min game, top player). You could never get such realistic stats in FIFA.

I look forward to your Serie A now. I see you already noted some teams as having a team specific tactics, and so far there's only Juventus. I'm pretty sure at least Napoli, Roma and Fiorentina also deserve attention

Try and stop in the ball and remain in control. Don't run right at the defender, go to the side, or run parallel to goal. If you sprint you have less control, so if you don't the ball is closer to you and you're more likely to be fouled.

In regards to to Liverpool specifically, do Coutinho and Mane run out of stamina fast in the formation in Krebs tactics sheet? I haven't been able to try it yet. Going from cm to rw back forth seems like it'd drain them.

On a different note, I've had to switch tactics to all out d/counter attack when playing big matches. the cpu gets hyper aggressive and goes balls to the wall while my players play regular tempo. This is for Europe, cup, derby matches. I can't use any form of high pressure in those games or it's a slaughter.

Changing A/D levels should help against aggressive teams, I can't stress how important it is to use it manually every match.

In what manner? Orange on attack, Blue on defense? Or orange when I want to press and blue when I can't? I switched from fifa this year so I don't know how all the mechanics work yet. I still smash l1/lb to send runners. That ones gonna take a while to learn.

Krebstar, Matt and Devin, you are a real credit to this community!

Questions on the 5 seconds rule:

                        - What exact behavior does it trigger in a human controlled team?
                        - How is that different in the behaviour of a CPU controlled team?
                        - Do you recommend applying this change to all teams in a given league or only the human-controlled team?
                        - Does it still work without editing the player roles?
                        - Do Live Updates wipe out the changes?

                        Many thanks in advance

Yes in that sense but slowing building up your play and adjusting your levels depending on where the ball is on the pitch. I have brought the ball up on the pitch on blue before adjusting to an attacking level depending on what the defence is showing.

Got a question for you guys especially Krebstar.

Shouldn't all teams be set to "Frontline Pressure" as "All-out Defense" makes it so the attacking team has a ton of space to work with in build up and setting up chances? I'm not sure if All-out Defense is even feasible in defending a lead.

I watched a video on this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8dZ_ASmHQ8

Was just curious what you thought about this.

Just a heads up to anyone playing in exhibition mode. This may already be known, but you have to turn OFF live updates (Hit L3) in order to get your edits to apply to the rosters. If live rosters are OFF, it will actually say ON at the bottom, just letting you know how to turn them back ON. I hope this was helpful to other people, or maybe its already known.

I had the exact same feeling last year and this year too. All Out Defense is just terrible. Frontline pressure is much better for the CPU to contain our attacks.
