I had the exact same feeling last year and this year too. All Out Defense is just terrible. Frontline pressure is much better for the CPU to contain our attacks.

There might not be a need for it with the advanced tactics like Swarm the Box (which is oddly labeled) and Deep Defence Line.

I will say that when playing against Leicester with Kreb's tactics they destroyed me when I was using Man City and scored two goals on the counter and I just couldn't break them down after that and I tried everything haha.

Got a question for you guys especially Krebstar.

Shouldn't all teams be set to "Frontline Pressure" as "All-out Defense" makes it so the attacking team has a ton of space to work with in build up and setting up chances? I'm not sure if All-out Defense is even feasible in defending a lead.

The issue is that not every team plays that way. Some teams gladly sit back and absorb the pressure and willfully lose the possession percentage.

My goal with tactics is to make teams play differently, not to fix flaws that exist within the core of the game (which is the AI retreating too much on defense). Even on frontline pressure, it's not that great.

Personally, I'd rather see a difference in team play than worrying that the AI isn't pressuring my attack well enough. Remember, we all play differently, also. How I'm attacking with a certain team is different than how other players attack with certain teams.

The custom tactics will never fix the game—the goal is to just make it more enjoyable. They're not anywhere near what sliders can do.

Hey Kreb I can post a few of my tactics this week. Already have Lyon, PSG, Monaco, Bayern, Juventus, Real Madrid, Sevilla, Atletico and Porto completed. Still testing BVB and few others but the teams I listed I am satisfied with the way they play.

What are you using for Lyon? They've been playing 3 in the back in the league and 4 in the UCL.

I believed they actually used the 3 at back against Sevilla Tuesday and so far I like the way they are with it. 3-5-1-1 with Lacazette play lone striker, played a few matches against them against with Juve and I liked how Rafael and Rybus operated on the flanks, I will post it up later tonight.

PES 2017 Tactics

I was Arsenal in this one. 25 min, SuperStar. I was able to get a lot of shots off but I wasnt putting really any on net. With that said, I didn't feel cheated at all. A lot of my shots were from outside the box and I needed to either go top corner or miss. I'm loving the shooting in this game right now. I hate how in FIFA every bad shot is just right at the keeper. Not realistic at all. Also Sunderland played amazingly with your tactics. They really played the ball long a ton and I was loving it. You can tell by their 66% pass accuracy. Off to work now and I literally can't wait to get back home and play some more.

My favorite thing is to play against are the extremes. It's so damn fun to play against a team who wants to win the possession battle, and on the opposite it's fun to play against a team who just wants to play rugby against you and smash it long.

I know for me at least it means changing up how I'm going to play based on the opposition, and that's just a great thing to feel forced to do.

very quick question. i'm sure its been asked before. will changing team tactics in the editing menu now change them for a master league that i've already started? or do i have to start over for the team tactics to be in place?
