Played a few champs league exhibition games in coach mode last night using the tactics. Leicester beat Man City with 35% possession. Arsenal beat Chelsea 1-0 AET. That game they had almost identical stats until 70 mins. Chelsea (who were CPU coached) had no advanced tactics set in edit mode. Suddenly they had 2 pop up for man marking Ozil and I think to hug touchline because when that popped up the commentator told me about it. They then put a load of crosses in to costa. I like how it adapted mid game. But if they have nothing set will they always just pick one mid game to suit?

Also, I haven't noticed if it does this in ML as I've been actually playing those games not coaching. But the A/D level changes as possession does except late when chasing a game. Though it didn't go full top/full bottom (lol. Bottom)
Having said this, the arsenal/Chelsea game was a rival game and they stayed orange attacking all game until arsenal had to defend a late lead

Sorry. Added to it. Loved the way Leicester played. Sat deep and lumped balls for Vardy to chase. Was brilliant

Anyone have an issue with cpu defense feeling too much "crancked up", no matter Team Level ??
Maybe it's me, but i'm experiencing too much difficulty against lower teams, which are strong in defense phase as the big teams do ..
Perhaps because of this issue, all Teams defense are unrealistically leveled up ...
However it's also a matter of personal feeling and taste .. and i could be wrong...

Quick question, what are your thoughts on the 5-second change? Obviously you have fluid formation on where the team shifts depending on whether they are on the ball or not.

I think if you're only going to do one thing, implement it.

But if you want to go the extra step, adjust tactics even more. End to end play is greatly reduced by adjusting tactics. Teams who hold possession will do it far more, but will still try and attack quicker if the opportunity arises.

Is there a way to copy preset formations so that they automatically copy fluid formations also. I mean so that when I change my teams formation from 4-3-3 to 4-4-2 it would also change my formations in possession and out of possession. Just wondering if there is an easier way so that I don't always have to copy the same formation to each slot and then edit them to be different in possession and out of possession.

You can copy formations in each tactic. First option in the left, then "formation change", then select what formation to change, and then what to change it to.

So if you just edit it for kickoff, you can then copy that over to in and out of possession.

Great job on the tactics just an FYI for Everton when you click the image to show formation on the spreadsheet it brings up Tottenham.

Guys, hate to say it ... but, as I've gotten more time with the game I can't stand it anymore. Even with this thread's adjustments the CPUs centerbacks are too passive, too often letting strikers receive balls to feet -- causing end-to-end gameplay (nothing works to fix this -- even raising d-line height). Ironically, Fifa 17 does a better job in this area.

What put the nail in the coffin for this game was Matt10l's exchange w/ adham Bhatti on twitter. Bhatti said they are waiting for the survey to see if the masses are bothered -- which essentially means, NO, WE ARE NOT FIXING IT AND OUR GOAL IS NOT REALISM BUT TO PLEASE THE MASSES.

No, thanks, Konami, I am not wasting my time with this positionally bereft game anymore.

So exactly the same business model as EA. We have 2 options as consumers and neither of them are good for the ones who like to play Career/manager style modes. It sucks but is what it is because it's true the masses are the ones they care about because that's how they get money. So far after playing both games I still think PES has the better on the pitch gameplay. You don't feel like a manager in FIFA because nobody on the pitch listens to your instructions. At least in PES I can position people, give them instructions and they follow.

I just wish FIFA could get to a point where it is great on the pitch (hope sliders this year can accomplish this) because you can't deny the look and presentation of the game is fantastic.

Generic tactic, so it's the exact same formation. Going to do generic images soon, though.

Premier League is nearly complete! Added several more generic tactics today. Might finish up tomorrow, for sure on Thursday I'd say.
