just out of curiosity, how to apply these tactics? i see some teams with the same formations. can we save those in a slot and load up for another team? or do we have to adjust the formations 1 by 1?

You can save three at a time and load them. So, pick three common tactics, input them in for one team, and after doing so use data management to save the tactic in one of the three slots.

Then, go to other teams who use the same tactic and load the previously saved tactic.

Once you've assigned all three tactics to all necessary teams you rinse and repeat. Select three new tactics, save them, and then apply to other teams.

I am not a fan of moving RB to the SMF position that is just my personal preference. For the Arsenal formation Bellerin and Monreal already play exactly how they would in real life without trying to change their position due to their stats and assigned skills.I personally feel like Arsenal do not need any other Advanced Tactic besides Tiki-Taka. I think for tactics you really have to keep in mind of the players stats for when you are implementing tactics.

So far I think your tactics I liked the most. Hope Krebstar adds them (Juve, Napoli, Real M) to the spreadsheet. Are you going to post others you mentioned, Inter, Sevilla etc.?

Ligue 1 is getting there! As with the rest of the major leagues I've placed in generic tactics—added a few more to the list to be created such as a 3-5-1-1! Hopefully this weekend will be able to build out a few of these newly added generic tactics which will start to fill things out a bit more.

I posted few days ago tactic for PSG (post #265), if you tested it and you are happy with it you can add it to the spreadsheet if you want. Happy to ear about any kind of feedback.

I have Bordeaux done too. I am working on team specific tactics for the 20 teams of the ligue.

Has anyone noticed that the game is much harder in Master League. I can win and score on SuperStar in exhibition but even the worse teams are keeping up with me, if not outplaying me consistently. Which isn't the case in exhibition mode. Anyone else experiencing this or am I going crazy?

How can I get my tactics to stick in exhibition games? I edited FC BARCELONA's tactics and when I try to play an exhibition game it reverts to the default tactics and lineups with Messi, Rakitic and Iniesta on the bench.

If you're on PS4 you click Right Stick (R3) when choosing teams. This will turn the "Live Update" off. At the bottom it will say "ON" now, but thats just telling what to press in order to turn it on again. So when it finally says "Live Update ON" you're good to go. I hope that helped.

I'm on PC. There are several mods that gives additional stadiums and more leagues. After starting the game, I turn off my laptops wifi so it doesn't download any updates but it still reverts. No tiki taka tactics and the superstars on the bench. I keep reloading my saved tactics files and nothing. I only see them in edit mode.

Sorry, man. I did what you said. I had assigned the (R3) button as the letter X on my keyboard. I pressed X and voila! It was all there.

The 4-4-2 (4-2-2-2) formation is very trendy this year in Ligue1 (Athletico Madrid wave?). The next team I am planning to work on is my beloved Olympique Marseille.
The OM have also used preferentially that formation lately despite having a potentially good CAM (for Ligue 1 standard) in Cabella.

It has been hard being a supporter of OM this last couple of years, but I digress....

EDIT: Build Up changed to Short-pass. Long-pass essentially means balls over the top. TFC claims a direct build up, but they uses ground passes most of the time.

No luckily someone has already done that for us . I am using the DFL option file and just expanding on the tactics that were already used, in his file he doesn't have Fluid formations turned on.
