That's the problem I'm having. I immediately play conservative and sometimes switch to 541 so that I can pack it and they still manage to go right down the middle and/or ball will bounce over defenders head and then miraculously are not marked and get great shots on goal and unless my keeper is on blue arrow up I have no chance they always score. even passing the ball around all of a sudden becomes near-impossible because they close everything down. if you guys aren't seeing it maybe I'm just really bad

I ended up moving the difficulty as high as it goes. I'm having fun again. Some of the stuff that happens to you seems B.S. (like the constantly being stunned locked from tackles nonsense, how is this still thing in PES?), but I'm having fun again. I also realized that I get my simulation out of FM, so as long as I just try to have fun with this and not worry too much about anything I'll continue to have fun.

Also, when are we going to get new commentary? I mean, this is the same crap from 2012 with a few extra lines here and there. But the core is the same garbage its been forever.

Started playing today with a Master League with Hull.

Had a 0-0, then won 1-0 and 2-1. On top player finding it a little too easy to be honest and I'm not playing that well. I seem to win headers to easily. I feel passing feels a little less crisp. I can see the curser change be slightly annoying to. Is it worth going to Superstar, I like a challenge but don't want the frustration of a overpowered AI?

Another question. I love the fluid formations but the front 4 seem to change position on the formation back routinely. Every time I change them to where I want them and click off screen they move back. Very annoying!

I have had many discussions with both FIFA and PES devs on this.

It's not so much a difficulty thing, it is a game flow thing. They are afraid too many fouls will hurt the balance. What they really mean is too many Ultimate teamers will complain.....thus why both games lack fouls.

There needs to be more. I played 3-4 myClub online games last nite and I now remember why I hate online gaming so much at times. Nothing but high pressure all game long, unrealistic formations, etc. But some of that would've been nullified with realistic fouls.

Top player works for me. I'm playing a ML with Cobreloa (Chilean team from 2nd division) and the ai makes mistakes and plays according to what i'm doing on the field. They are still a little lethal but fun

Amen. I would pay big $$$ to see 8-12 fouls per side for a match to be sim. Hell, I would be happy for half that now.......

I will say, the tackle button on FIFA is wonderful this year. I am taking my frustration out on the CPU in that game. They just won't retaliate much like PES....

I'm done with PES 2018. AGAIN another year of no fouls by the CPU. I was a fool for buying this without waiting for reviews.

The devs acknowledged the lack of fouls and are working on it, something like a month or so.
It does suck right now, but it's nice to see them communicate with the community to try and fix issues.

Online I'm enjoying myself. Seeing the tactics that abuse me and adjusting. I only play with Spurs and I love that I can simulate them and take on RM and Barca all day long. There is some BS but I'm enjoying it. God save you if you fould me within 30 yds
