I get that feeling from playing the demo. I really like the improvements and find it difficult to go back to 11.

I'm hoping to play out the entire time limit on my Liverpool Save and then see what other clubs I run with. Least I can "save" my saves and continue them once I make the purchase.

My only regret was I wish I would have put Carroll up on the market and see what I could have gotten for him.

    EDIT:
I did borrow Thiago from Barca on loan. He's fitting in well early on with the absence of Gerrard.

I got lucky draws. In the CL I've drawn CSKA Moscow, play Blackburn (yes them) in the Carling Cup Final and Leicester City in the FA Cup

Decided to do the "Bottom at Christmas" Challenge from a few years back with FM 2011. Looks like I'll be taking over West Brom.

First post here, but I've been looking to get FM12. Is there a multiplayer league option?

          thanks

Good stuff I just started a career with Feyenoord after taking 2 days to download all the logos, kits, facepacks, etc. etc. So far I love it! This is my first FM i have owned as I only breifly played and watch my friend play the 2006 version when that came out. I thinking of doing an Arsenal one but it wouldn't feel right replacing Wenger.

Well my Bottom at Christmas Challenge is off an running at West Brom. I drew Stoke 0-0 in my first match, then I took on a 11th placed Birmingham City squad at home and snuck out a win. You could say I outshot them a bit.

I'm sure it's been asked, but oh well. Is 2012 worth getting or should I just grab a Summer update for 2011?

I went from 2009 to 2011, but just might now jump to 2012. Any thoughts are welcome. I'm leaning towards yes.

Do it! I'm barely playing any other game anymore because of FM 12!

I asked the same question yesterday and got the same responses. Do it I guess. I would but I'm holding off until post-Christmas. Of course that is if I can.

I drew Chelsea at Home! I'm starting to really like this Baggies side. They don't give up.

Next up Liverpool at Anfield, then Man Utd, Man City, and Sunderland. Going to be a rough couple weeks. I'm only 2 points away from being clear of the drop though.

I purchased and am now playing. Going to start in nPower League 2 and build a team using the Arsenal model.

                          Goodbye life.

                          ---

Actually, this year I think I'll start at Arsenal to begin with. Considering doing something with them will actually be an achievement. The best part is there is a fix I got which puts Wenger as Director of Football at Arsenal, instead of him showing up as manager of another side.

Ugh, final decision. No Arsenal save yet. I'm going to wait for the Arsenal content to be released at Mantralux.

                            Chelsea update:

The race is down between me and United. 4 point difference and we faced each other twice already. Out of the top teams United still have City, Tottenham, and Liverpool to play while I only have Liverpool which gives me an advantage.

I ended up winning the Carling Cup 2-0 against Wolves. Lukaku dominated the competition for me scoring a total of 8 goals. 4 in one game.

I got a bad draw against Liverpool early in the FA Cup and am out. This was during a a locker room issue, Drogba out in the African Cup and a bad streak overall.

CL wise I barely got out of the round of 16 against OM 4-4 on aggregate.

Now for the bad news, injuries. My midfield has been completely decimated:

I'm just happy Mikel is returning. He's been out since November. Essien just came back and is out immediately. Lampard was a huge loss but the biggest is Sturridge. He's been so key in my success and my creativity up front is really struggling. Mata's form has dropped since Sturridge went out. Torres on the other hand is just horrible. He gets in great positions but rarely finishes. I floated him around in the January transfer window but teams felt my asking price of €32m was too much. He will probably be moved come summer. Anelka is already set to transfer to Zenit come summer time.

Made some moves in the January transfer window.

                            In:
                            Rafael Toloi - €1.8m
                            Edison Cavani - €33m

                            Out:
                            Alex - €15

I felt I needed another striker for the future. Torres will not be the answer and I feel Cavani was the right route to go with Sturridge and Mata. So far Cavani has done well.

Alex on the other hand was great but City kept increasing their offer. Their back field has a ton of injuries and they were desperate for a CB. Since they pose little of a threat this year I decided to do it. Right before I sold him I signed Tolói... more like stole him for that price. No difference between him and Alex and I have another young Brazilian CB to look forward to in the future.

Both me and Arsenal are making a run at Götze which is quite interesting since Arsenal want him in real life. Götze seems more interested in playing for the Blues but Dortmund's asking price is too much for me at the moment.

On a side note Tevez has had 11 disciplinary actions against him already. City have been unable to move him. They're asking price is €56m which isn't happening. They've drop that price since but weren't able to move him in the January transfer window.

Looks like you're keeping it together pretty well despite being ravaged by injuries in the midfield. It's going to be tough to fend off Man U with still having to worry about some CL weekdays. I find that injuries can snowball if you play the wrong guys when they are a bit tired. Eventually you learn which ones you can push through that congestion and which ones can't handle it.
