Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

4 games into my 2021/22 season and I've lost 2 key players already.

Chamberlain went to Spurs. They offered 30M, which activated his release clause, and he went running, yellling and cheering, out the door before the inked had even dried! He was making 90K p/w with us and settled for 99K p/w with Spurs. Thanks Ox.

El Shaarawy tore his hamstring and is out 2-3 months. Of course this happens after the window closed.

Time for some youngsters to earn their stripes!

Well, I applied for the USA olympic manager position, we'll see what happens with that.
As I type this we are in 12th position and up 3-0 in the 36th minute on 1st placed Burnley in what appears to be a home fixture, but I would love if it weren't.
      -----------
We played poorly in the 2nd half, ended up winning 3-2 though. One goal was on a rebound, not much you can do there. The other was just a great effort from their striker.
We'll gladly take the 3 points.
I used to put important things here

When is the last patch scheduled to release?

Has there been any price drops lately? I may upgrade from 12 soon.

So disappointed right now. Lost in the quarterfinals of the Second Stage of Serie C to Macae 2-1 on aggregate. Both of their goals were flukey as crap. Had three goals disallowed for various reasons across both legs. So its back to Serie C next year.

            Curse you FM GODS!!!!

EDIT: Pretty sad, my players finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in POTY voting. Just couldn't advance one flipping round.

Started a save with Spurs (why not since AVB always gets sacked) I have a 30 game unbeaten streak and who do I finally lose to.......Derby County in a 3rd round FA Cup replay.

I just made the single most questionable signing of my FM career. I used most of my available wage budget, and all of my transfer funds to bring in Per Mertesacker from Arsenal. First, I can't believe he signed. Second, I feel stupid for using all of my available funding. Third, if this doesn't work out, I hope I can sell him for more than the 1.8M I bought him for.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

Perhaps it's because I'm afraid I'm going to regret Mertesacker, but I'm messing around in FM Editor, and I'm working diligently on a Four Tier US System, what I would like to do, is if anyone around here would like to be added to this database as a coach/player for any of the NASL and below teams, just shoot me a message with a coaching/playing profile. Also, if anyone wants to help me test the database for likeness problems(same teams getting promoted/relegated each year, player shortage, etc). I've obviously got kinks to work out. One of them is creating the four divisions, I've already got them where they will be MLS-NASL-USPRO1-USPRO2. I've "promoted" the Minnesota Stars from NASL to MLS to make an even 20, otherwise, I'm just scouring for "unique" (read: Not reserve teams or vicinity teams[note: I'm failing]) teams to fill out 20 teams in each division. 3 relegated, 3 promoted except USPRO where it's 4 up, 4 down. For anyone who is curious, this is what the leagues look like right now.

                  MLS: Current + Minnesota Stars

                  NASL:
                  Atlanta Silverbacks
                  Carolina Railhawks
                  FC Edmonton
                  Fort Lauderdale Strikers
                  New York Cosmos
                  San Antonio Scorpions
                  Tampa Bay Rowdies
Ottawa Fury(will be using the extinct version to replicate the expansion plans of the NASL in 2013)
Virginia Beach Mariners(Virginia slated to get a team, using an extinct team
                  Indianapolis Braves(see above)
                  Charleston Battery
                  Charlotte Eagles
                  Dayton Dutch Lions
                  Harrisburg City Islanders
                  Los Angeles Blues
                  Orlando City
                  Pittsburgh Riverhounds
                  Phoenix FC
                  Richmond Kickers
                  Wilmington Hammerheads

                  USPRO1: (incomplete, need 4 teams)
                  FC Tampa Bay
                  Rochester Rhinos
                  Rhode Island Reds
                  Brooklyn Italians
                  FC Tulsa
                  Jacksonville United
                  Milwaukee Bavarians
                  Detroit City FC
                  San Diego Flash
                  Sacramento Gold
                  Fullerton Rangers
                  AFC Cleveland
                  Quad City Eagles
                  Georgia Revolution
                  Mississippi Storm
                  FC Sonic

USPRO2 [no teams selected yet ]

I'll be editing the CONACAF Cup to select teams correctly(it will be top 4 MLS)

There will also be an FA Cup, containing every team(much like England's version)

The Lamar Hunt will remain as is.

The season's been changed to accommodate FIFA rules.

Suntan - I'd suggest switching the Cosmos with the MN Stars.

How is it coming along, have you done any testing yet?

The Cosmos were my original plan for the 20th team, but their FM Editor Data is messed up beyond my knowledge of repair. FC New York has effectively replaced them.

Also FC Tuscon wasn't in the Data files, so I just took the Madison 56ers(logo/stadium, etc was all set, so less work)
                          ---
Yes, I've done testing, this is what I have so far

All four leagues work, play 38 games, 2 against each other team home/away

US Cup works for first year(US Teams only)
Toyota League Cup works in first year
                          NACL works in first year

What I still need to do:
                          Add missing logos(working on)
Make sure NACL works in the second year(Also, checking if I can't change a qualifying place to the TLC Winner)
Creating a Super Cup between US Cup winner, and Canadian Championship winner, possibly holding a NACL qualifying spot

Beyond all of that, I'm open to suggestions as well.

                          EDIT:
I will make the logo pack separate from the logo pack I currently use in case anyone actually does want to download this.

First Crash happened around the closing of the first mid-season transfer window after adding the US Cup and Toyota Cup.

One thing that's great is that FM crash dumps in a folder, not in secret.

The stored exception information can be accessed via .ecxr.

Fixed the Crash Dump, right now after three first seasons of simulating, I've decided that Rochester, Jacksonville and Tampa Bay will be placed in NASL, while Ottawa, FC Phoenix and Indianapolis will be moved down to USPRO1.

Got the competition logos done(changed MLS logo, added USPRO2 logo, added Toyota Cup logo)
Working on getting all four versions of team logos done, and going to be doing year 2 testing.
By tomorrow I hope to be testing coaching the teams, I envision the lowers will be incredibly hard, but they're meant to be.
