Should be fixed now, I ended up in Segunda B2, managing Iruna. Starting out with a Semi-Pro team was hard, but I snapped up a few Barca/Madrid rejects, and somehow managed to sign a Peruvian striker with 15 finishing as a 19 year old, sprinkle in a few veterans, an all out attack tactic(which has been super fun to manage), and mid-way through the year we're sitting midtable and starting to sell out due to our attractive style of football(a far cry from my normal lower league style, which is basically straight possession choke the ball 1-0 victories). With that, and our under 5k/wk in wages, we managed to turn professional heading into my second season, right now, I just got the board to approve upgrades to the training and youth facilities, and told them I could secure another top half finish. I'm hoping to get into the promotion playoff, while it'd be nice to win promotion, I feel like going from Semi-Pro to the Spanish second division is a recipe for disaster, but whatever happens, happens, I guess.

Ultimately though, I don't think I'll be sticking with Iruna, unless the chairman decides to increase transfer revenue, and stops cancelling contracts from under me(Offered my Peruvian striker a reasonable deal to ward off other interested parties, and my chairman denied the contract due to the "Match Highest Earner Clause" I didn't even know chairmen could do that!

On another note, Blackburn has joined Bolton in League 2 now, the Portsmouth way for both clubs.

From what little I have played, it seems that an attacking mentality is fairly successful as a semi-pro or very low level club.

Well, I went up a few places this year, which made for a more disappointing season because of the last day:

Just started with this and this game is awesome. I really like actually being able to talk with your players and staff instead of mindless player complaining like FIFA...

I have to restart my first save though after downloading the real names patch.

Just floating a question. Both players natural positions are AMC's, which one would you have?

                A. B.

I'd take player B. Better overall mental statistics. You can train him to be just as good a technical player as A. But B will always have the edge in mental abilities.

Plus B is way faster and has a much higher natural fitness rating. You'll have an easier time keeping him on the pitch.

For the way I play, I'd take B - high speed, aggression, and dribbling will often bring out 1-2 killer runs each game, where he just runs through the middle of the field and wills his way to an assist or goal.

I know it's not something you can base your tactics on, but I have a guy like this, and I put him as Advanced Playmaker - Attack (FM13) and have him run with the ball up the middle of the field and make things happen.

It was more of a general question than anything else. I'm playing both as an advanced playmaker at the moment, but Cholakov has played a few games up front.

If anyone is interested, Cholakov cost £775k ($1.3m) and Novotny £1.1m ($1.8m).

Edit: Posted while I was studbucket. That's essentially how I'm playing them.

Reason I asked is because to me they're both dead even when played as an AP, but as an AM, I'd pick Novotny.

I feel like Cholakov would make a great Tranquilista or Shadow Striker as well...maybe.

Player B would fit my system better, if I run with an AMC, but they both are (seemingly) good finds.

Even then, at that level once they both are ready for solid pt (don't know the rest of your squad make up) Player A night be able to be retained into a nice little technique-oriented forward/striker.

Am I the only one who wants to see the generated pictures? Sometimes if the players are really close, and I have to choose one over the other, I go with the one whose face/hair is less annoying to look at.
