Good catch. It's fixed now.
Don't you worry, FM is waiting to unleash them on me in the knockout stages.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Small sample size, but through 5 apps he's been poor for me. 6.52 average rating, no goals and 1 assist.
Welbeck, on the other hand, in those same 5 apps, has 4 goals and 4 assists for a 7.92 average rating.
I'm hoping Sanchez stops being mediocre and starts playing like he is in your save.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
With the Transfer window now closed, here are my signings:
Raheem Sterling from Liverpool to be my AML.
William Carvalho, DM.
Wonderkid Eder Alvarez Balanta, CB.
Alex Telles, young LB with huge potential.
Wonderkid Paco Alcacer, Striker.
Humam Tariq, young midfielder with huge potential.
Overall, not too bad. I got a lot younger, and my signings all have massive potential, which could set me up nicely in the future.
And now my outgoing players:
Olivier Giroud, 36 mil to Napoli.
Lucas Podolski, 18.5 mil to Dortmund.
Abou Diaby, 15 mil (LOL!) to Metalist.
Nacho Monreal, 15 mil to Newcastle.
Mathieu Flamini, 10 mil to Zenit.
Franic Coquelin, 3 mil to Sunderland.
Damian Martinez, 1.5 mil to Liverpool.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
With match fixture congestion, I had a CL match on Wednesday, the North London Derby on Sunday (drew 1-1), and a COC match with Everton on Tuesday.
My team was fatigued and ravaged by injuries to the point where I couldn't even field a full B squad. I was expecting to get destroyed, but instead I pulled out a 3-1 win. Sanchez, Wilshere, Ox, Koscielny, Ramsey, Arteta, Rosicky, and Debuchy are all injured. Arteta and Rosicky both had to come off injured during the COC match, and they were my two starting CMs with Wishere and Ramsey out for the next month. Yeah, typical Arsenal injury situation, and FM nailed it. SIM.Attached FilesComment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Injuries do seem to be a lot more frequent so far. I swear, at least 3 people each week get injured during training and then 2 more get injured during the actual matches.
EDIT: yup, just started a match in two minutes in my MC gets injured, put in a sub for him and then 8 minutes into the game he gets injured too! Bleh.Last edited by Joshua1207; 10-31-2014, 12:57 PM.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
FM does not want me to win the COC:
Edit: And Raheem Sterling just tore a calf muscle and is out for 3-4 months. This injury problem is getting ridiculous. It's at the point where my only current healthy winger is Joel Campbell. He's playing AMR. I can't play Rosicky (just back from injury) at AML because he's one of my only two healthy CMs. Welbeck is going to have to fill-in for the time being. Ugh.
Edit #2: And Rosicky just broke his ankle on INT duty. Out 6 months. Unbelievable. At this rate I'm going to have to start signing guys off the street.
Edit #3: And Debuchy returns from injury only to slip a disc in training and will be out 2-3 months. The developers in the SI forums are insisting that there is no problem with injuries, but this is beyond outrageous.Attached FilesLast edited by rsnomar05; 11-01-2014, 12:09 AM.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
A battered, bruised, injury-riddled Arsenal squad was somehow winning games. But they were going up against an unbeaten Man City squad with a +25 goal differential through 7 games. A City squad that was tearing through the league and looked unbeatable. The press called them heavy favorites.
But The Ox had just resumed full training from injury a day before the match. And he decided to dominate the game, scoring 2 and nabbing an assist. Arteta nabbed a penalty for good measure, and the Gunners won in decisive 3-1 fashion. Their only goal came when Aguero cheated, drifted way offside, and netted home a through-ball that put him 1-on-1 with Szczesny. It was blatant cheating, but the linesman's flag stayed down.
What a huge victory! I now currently sit 2nd, two points behind Citeh and 5 ahead of 3rd place Chelsea. Also, Spurs have a -9 GD and are in the relegation zone. LOLSpurs!Attached FilesComment
