This season has been crazy. started off losing 4 of my first 5 games against Man City, Man U, Spurs and Arsenal in that order ( tied 1-1 with Liverpool). We just couldnt find the net with anyone. Constantly hitting the post or amazing saves, its maddening!

Once our schedule lightened up, we went on a run of 15 games unbeaten ( won 8 of those). we jumped from 18th to 7th during that time just in time for the winter transfer. Wanted to really make a push in the second half of the season so we went big. Landed Balotelli and Fellaini (keep in mind its 2018) both from PSG who just so happens to be in the middle of a take over. Their weekly salaries are ridiculous though, Fellaini at $145k per week and Balotelli at $165. Because, i only paid 23 mil total in transfer fees so i was able to free up some money in the payroll.

Balotelli is a complete *** lol, almost anything you say to him he reacts badly. He has been a huge boost though so i just leave him alone and let him play. Fellaini has been solid too giving us much needed help defending set pieces

Currently in 7th place, we made it through the second set of games with the top teams. Played much better this time, drawing 3 times (all 1-1) and losing twice to Man U and City.

Ugh I hate this game sometimes. After gaining promotion through injury(Mansfield was a better team, but their lead striker went out in the semi-final, and they didn't pack a punch after that) and Stoking my way to the FA Cup Semi-Final, the board offered me a new contract, a 50/week payout, and again only a one year deal. I declined for obvious reasons, then waited for the new budgets to take effect. I then get approached again, but still its only a one year deal, and no pay rise. I reasonably counter with a 200/week pay rise, and a three year deal, they walked away. The club is NOT struggling financially. So I become unemployed.

Start applying for jobs I'm interested in, and even a few that are "never gonna happens" Heynckes leaves Bayer and Bayer 'consider' my interest, but I obviously lose out to Pep. AFC Wimbledon is flattered by my interest, but hire someone else, I've applied for Cardiff now, but I doubt I'd get that. So now its the waiting game..... sigh.

I just signed El Hadji Diouf. I feel like I need a shower now.

He is, of course, suspended for the first match.

              I feel your pain!

Injuries just wrecked the early season momentum I had, with Shrewsbury Town, and my team doesn't know how to play any more! I love giving up weak a** goals.

I don't think it's all that healthy welling at my computer screen! My wife thinks I've gone insane.

Darren Bent has 40 goals in all competitions for me. Pretty damn good, right?

                Well, it's only March.

1 goal in the last 4 games.

                      **** you, sentient FM.

Also lost to 19th place Wigan to basically torpedo my chance at a CL spot. Having won the CC, I think it's all hands on deck to try and do the double for the FA.

UGH! Im so over this team, what these clowns are getting paid and their desire to do everything but win is driving me insane. Was so close to punching a hole in my monitor after losing 4-1 to ****ing Everton and they are terrible. For every goal we score we allow 2. And whatever this animation is where players dribble the ball all slow and goofy while waiting for the other team to take it is seriously making me consider going back to FM '12.

So, I get furious with this game, my defenders literally stopped moving and allowed Oxford to go up 2-0 after THREE MINUTES. I slam the lid shut on my laptop, basically shut down my computer somehow someway, lo and behold, the save game is now corrupted, good riddance.

But since I'm a glutton for punishment, and I need to do an England save where I either work a team to the Premier League, or I get invited to coach a Premier League team, time to start a new one.

Nothing better than FINALLY beating a team that has saddled you with nothing but heartbreaking losses in the past. **** you, Burnley, I finally got you! And it was to move within a point of them in 2nd place in the middle of December.
