These are the changes I may end up doing for another save somewhere in the near future:

MLS= Premier League

• 18 teams

• 2rounds

• Top 8 teams go to playoffs; winner of playoffs get cash bonus. 1leg

• Bottom 2 relegated

NASL= League 2

• 8 Teams

• 4 rounds

• #1 team in points automatically get promoted

• 2-5 teams go to 4 team play offs for MLS promotion (6th team battke all sesson to go to playoffs or get demoted!)

• Bottom 2 relegated (7th, 8th)

USL Pro= League 3

• 12 teams

• 2 rounds

• Top 2 promoted


(make over) MLS Supporters' Shield = All MLS, NASL, USL teams and all lower tier North American Soccer leagues (FA cup wannabee)

-Winner get auto bid to CONCACAF

US Open Cup= Same

Canadian Cup= Same

• Im clueless about what to do with money, transfers, rules and etc...

And I also ran across an option called "match detail level" what is that?

I havent noticed any detail since turning my league to All

Does anybody have the iPad version? Can you play with MLS and international teams? I saw a brief screenshot and it seemed like only a limited amount of countries were playable - mainly European ones

Also, a review of the game would be helpful

I picked it up last weekend because I had some gift card money. It's basically a toned down version, but is a great option for wasting time if you ride a lot of public transportation, travel a lot for work, or have to kill time if you're in school between class.

When you start a save, you either pick to do a 30-year career or 1 of 4 scenarios. For example, you take over at the bottom of the league at Christmas in one of them and have to avoid relegation.

The menu system is well-designed and there are 8 screens to control your squad, tactics, scouting, etc.

You can load either 4 or 5 leagues, can't remember off the top of my head, and there is a limited selection. What you saw in the screen shot is all there is. You choose one "main" country with all level, and if you choose, you can fill the rest of the slots with the top tier of other countries.

I haven't spent much time with this, but I would describe it as FM lite. There are less player attributes, less contract options, negotiations are toned down, scouting is limited, etc. You have your senior squad, but your reserve squad is greyed out players if you choose to load more leagues. I haven't tested, but based on the warning message I got, if you only load 1 country, your reserve squad will be filled with real players. The match screen is classic style text/2D circles, and you can swipe to several other screens that show live player ratings, stats, etc during the match.

Daily processing is pretty quick and the transfers move a lot faster with less back and forth.

You can't mod it, so only licensed teams have real crests and nothing can be done about that.

All in all, I'd say that it is worth 9.99 if you have the time to put into it on the go. If you're going to play it at home, you might as well just play the full game.

EDIT: I just realized that mine is the version for the iPhone and that there might be a specific version for the iPad. I can't imagine it being much different, though.

User/Doc/SI/FM12/Graph

Or

Apps/steam/steamapp/comm/FM12/data/sigfx ???

I tried the first (as what the directions say) but Its not working.

Yet I notice everything related to the files are in the steam directory

Im lost


Btw, I havent turned on my PS3 or 360 since buying this game

I've been working on buying Neymar for two and half years. I finally got a deal done but his work permit was denied on the last day of the January window! Instead of brining him over anyway I decided to let the deadline pass and the deal was voided. Oddly enough the entire deal was almost canceled as Santos offered me Ganso at a good price. However, he wanted £100k more per month compared to Neymar plus over £12m in bonuses over the entire deal.

The permit being denied might be a win though as he is unsettled over there and wants to play for me. I'll see soon enough.

Also Torres is my leading goal scorer for season 3. I've resurrected his career.

If so, just let that run out. The dude is trash anyway.

If you signed him then God rest your soul, Heskey is going to hand around your neck for a while. Very rarely do I feel FM nails a guys traits exactly, but Heskey sure does play like Heskey

In my save he is manager of Sunderland.

They won't be regulated so it seems he'll keep his job which is surprising.

And I just figured out that you can only have one boots file... I placed the entire pack inside and didnt replace anything -____-

And is it true that you can only have one ball save because that overwrites the file also?

If so, does the default change colors? Because I also dumped the entire file in the destination and seen 3 different balls. One was yellow.
