After struggling with a solid save for a while now, I've decided to try something different. I'm gonna start in Turkey (Bursaspor) and see how far I can get them into European competitions. Maybe move on once I feel I've done well enough.

Well De Gea said no to me, United wont let go of Chicharito for anything.
I did get Manuel Neuer to replace an aging Cesar.
Still need another forward.Comment

I started one with Sporting. Here are the standings heading into winter break. I signed Roque Santa Cruz (with a little help from the board). He's been a huge help for me up front.
I also won my group in the Europa League. I play Anderlect in the first knockout stage.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

I started a Fulham save, just for fun brought in some US players to go along with Dempsey & Johnson.....Donovan, Bradley, and Guzan came into mix. Preseason been good so far; and started league play with 2 wins.Comment

Bursaspor didn't work out. Started a Blackpool save. This just happened, I was literally on the edge of my seat just about the whole time, except for right after going down 2-1 late.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Actually, no.
This goes back to the end of last season and includes all Champs League and Cup matches (including the Community Shield and Super Cup).
8 matches into the season and we're 5-3-0, 1 point behind leaders Man City. The streak is now at 32.
EDIT:
The unbeaten streak is up to 36. Here's the squad in my 9th season in charge:
Only one Englishman, lol. I did one hell of a job picking out the regens to bring in early on. Almost every young guy I brought in to train is worth 3 times what I paid for them. Needless to say, this save has worked out.
And I have quite the tactic brewing for whenever I can train a effective sweeper.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 02-09-2011, 11:49 PM.Comment

And right when I talk up the squad, we go out and somehow lose at home to West Brom 0-1.Not sure how we didn't score, but it had to happen sometime.
This makes the next match against league leaders Man City huge.Comment

Ouch. Nice squad though Tim. Anyhow, I've decided to fimally go with my annual Barca save. I'll be waiting for the last patch to start my Arsenal one.
I'm hoping to once again go 38-0-0 with Barca as I did it last yearI'm not going to go crazy in the transfer market, but instead will focus on signing youngsters with potential - Spanish if preferable. The only big signing I'm going to try for is Cesc
