Well, I've decided to take on Crystal Palace of the Coca-Cola Champions Division. I wanted a change of scenery after 3 MLS seasons...and I want'ed a little more of a challenge. Did I get more than I bargained for?

Here is our Starting XI, note please that Scannell is out for the next 5 months.

The league table with 9 to play (excuse the horrible gimp-job, I'm tired):

Man, has it been tough so far. Lost our first three in horrible fashion. Then, I came up with a different tactic. One that was very rigid, defensive, and stripped players of just about all of their creative freedom. We've won our last two, including one against Bristol City.

I wish there was a way to tell these guys to play as a team, it's ridiculous. No passing, long shots, when they do pass the other player is often not ready for it. Don't even get me started on the finishing.

I guess I got my little extra challenge...

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

After finally getting the facepacks, kits & logo's I wanted loaded, along with the complete English football lower division add-on I'm ready to take my Spurs to the glory land.

I like my starting squad quite a bit, so I probably won't be making many early moves, other than trying to offload Pavluychenko, Bentley & Johnny Two Saints, but that's only if I can secure premium values.

I'd like to bring in a player with some South American attacking flair, perhaps someone like Juan Roman Riqueleme, assuming he'd be available on the cheap since he's a bit long in the tooth. I don't even know if he'd have interest in a move to the Prem at this stage of his career.

I really don't think Riqueleme could do the job anymore for you there.

Yeah, I wouldn't look to build my squad around him, I just thought he'd be a nice addition that could add some creative class to the 10 role, and could feature in 20-25 matches throughout the course of the season.

I really want to bring in De Rossi as a deeper lying playmaker, but I pretty much stand no chance of accomplishing that.

Went through the San Marino season with only one loss. However, they have playoffs like American sports with two teams from each group going to the playoffs. I won my semifinal 2-0 and will face the mighty Tre Penne in the Final.

I won the treble for Barca in my 1st season. I know that's it relatively easy, but for some reason, playing with that team is sooo much fun. They're a machine!!! Anyhow, my summer was relatively quiet as I sold Cacares, Henrique, Hleb, Abidal, and Millito. I rought in Fabregas, Lahm, and at deadline day, David Silva. I actually didn't really want Silva, but since Valencia got relegated, I was able to get him at 18 million.

5-0-0 to start my quest to three-peat of the treble as well as defend the Club Cup. Trying to let my 3 new players settle in. Also, my youth prospects are developing nicely. Muniesa, Lukaku, Pedro and Otamendi are all going to be solid first teamers

please, by winning San MArino, I'm in the Champions League! Of course we are talking about the preliminary rounds in July. But it is still champions league.

So I got fired by Paris FC midway through the season after my strikers decided they weren't going to score. Ever.

I was snatched up by Bristol Rovers immediately, who were in last place and destined for relegation, but I brought them all the way to 13th in the table and was offered a one year deal to continue with the club. Since I only need to get into the top 6 to make the playoffs, I think promotion, or at least the playoffs, is a real possibility.

I also took the job as South African manager, as although they are not a great team, they automatically qualified for the World Cup, and I wanted to see if I could pull off an upset. I got a favorable group draw, facing Japan, Uruguay, and Greece, and I upset Japan in the first game 2-0. Making the round of 16 is now real possibility, and I did not think I had much of a shot entering in (especially with the team ranked 77th in the World right now).

Why are the images so big? Shouldn't OS resize them? I may have to do Print Screen instead of the in-game screenshot taker.
