Also, I did end up making a few acquisitions in addition to what I've mentioned above. Signed DaMarcus Beasley on a free, and claimed Macoumba Kandji and Bouna Coundoul on waivers. Coundoul can't be registered for this season, though. To make room for those signings, I had to waive some players: Taylor Twellman, Mauricio Castro, Wells Thompson, Kheli Dube, and Pat Phelan.

Just realized that I haven't updated in a while. My third season with Chicago is winding to a close. A lot of the coaches said that we weren't title contenders...but I think we are. Also, it's cool to see Brian McBride coaching the Galaxy. Anyway, standings:

In last season's Champions League, we advanced at the top of our group. While that was great, we got knocked out in the Quarter Finals by Morelia (5-2 Aggregate).

Won the MLS Cup on penalties over Seattle.

This year, I've been knocked out of the US Open Cup early by Charlotte. (Embarrassing, I know. 5 yellows and 2 reds will do that to a team.)

We look to be headed to the playoffs again this year, hopefully to defend our title!

LOL I never even bothered to check Anyhow, I am about to play El Clasico at the Bernabeu. Real are 12 points behind me right now, but if they win, it could turn the whole season around for them

I managed to relegate Omniworld so I resigned. I was then picked up by NSI in the Faroe Island Premier League and I'm threatening to relegate them as well. Can you say Squid sucks?

Finally started an mls game with Toronto FC. The league is so different from everyother league.

Can someone run down some of the rules for me? Also, I'm interested in the draft, hows that implemented in the game?

a bunch. Maybe 11-12? I love that you can download leagues from the sigames forum like Faroe Islands.

Into the January transfer window and still have yet to drop points as Barca. While some may say it's boring, I'm having a blast since I've had near misses and adjusting tactics and touchline shouts is awesome in this game.

I just wanted to say - Bojan is awesome. I use him in my cup games and supersub, but he has 21 goals in all contests (tied with Ibrahimovic and Messi). The Spanish goals of the week were there and he had all 3 goals of the week lol

But I signed Cesc Fabregas to come in the summer. As an Arsenal fan, I hope this doesn't happen, but in FM, I'm totally cool with that. He will fit in with Xavi and Iniesta who are stellar

I will be finally getting my Gunners save going at some point, but managing all that talent at Barca is fun.

Yeah, it's great. I'm running 12 myself, but I'm running the more standard leagues like England and Spain because I'm trying to have a rise from the lower leagues to glory career.

Which, quite frankly, isn't going too well. I haven't scored a goal in three games as Paris FC, and I am lying right smack in the middle of the table. I may need a tactics adjustment, or some better players.

As embarrassing as it is to admit, I've just been sacked from the Ghana national team. Very poor performance in the African Cup of Nations was enough to get the FA to remove me. Ouch.

Also, probably going to move to Crystal Palace, who have approached me with an offer. I would like a change in scenery, and perhaps a bit more of a challenge.
