I think I'm going to stick with this game, having a great time. Next up is the World Cup with Ghana, who approached me a couple months back.

    Oh, and:

      Nice Bruins!

Even With Dave Nugent's Hat Trick it still wasn't enough to stop City. That game did set a record for highest scoring league game in Portsmouth History.

      Next Match
      West Ham 2, Portsmouth 0

That's Currently 10 matches without a win. Back to 20th on the table

Got nothing going on this afternoon, so I'm gonna fire this challenge up. I get Wigan.

And I can't get screenshots to work, so you'll have to take my word for it for now. Any help with screenshots would be appreciated.

        Standings:
        15th Burnley 18 pts.
        16th Bolton 17pts.
        17th Stoke 16 pts.
        18th Birmingham 14 pts.
        19th Wolves 13 pts.
        20th Wigan 12 pts.

Just thinking, but I'm sure the same could be done in The Championship, with the goal of making the premier league the season after.
Don't you EVER read my blog? It's gotten a lot better.

Not looking good, I need to start scoring some goals. Didn't make any signings in the transfer window. Was in negotiations for John Utaka from Portsmouth, but I didn't want to pay him what he was demanding.

Gonna take a break and pick this up later tonight.

You can sign your own staff. But you need to rely on them, along with transfer rumors, news, etc. for players to sign.

                      Another Disappointment.

I struck first in this game and thought maybe the tide could change, but once Tal Ben-Haim got injured there was a momentum switch.

                      Another facepalm

                      And At The Emirates:

                      Hat-Trick for Arshavin.

So close. I just wanted a chance going into the final game because I felt I could get a win at Portsmouth. I was behind on goal difference to Wolves, so I had to go for the win against Liverpool (who ran away with the title). That was a crazy match, but came up just short. Looking back, the key was the draw at home against Bolton. If I take care of business there, I stay up.

Birmingham and I are sinking without a trace. We're 11 points away from safety with only 5 games left to play, and seem resigned to relegation. Oh well. A string of injuries and late goals crushed this team's chances of surviving from the minute I took over. I'm loving the team so will have to rebuild and work my way back up to the Prem next season. I have a good group of young players that my scouts found that are coming over in the summer transfer window (two Norwegian regen strikers who seem to be quite good and Mehmet Ekici from Bayern). I'm going to rebuild this team completely and am going to have to dump a lot of veteran dead wood (that means you Kevin Phillips!). I can't wait for this hellish season to end.

Two consecutive 1-0 results (at Wigan and home to Blackburn) have put us back in the hunt! With three games left, we're only 5 points out and have a chance at surviving, as slim as it may be. We finish the season away at Fulham (18th in the table), home to Everton (6th), and away to West Ham (7th). Cross your fingers.
