      1. Jay Demerit
      2. Martin Caceres

I'm two games into the season right now, 0-1-1, a 3-1 loss to Manchester United, and a 0-0 tie to Blackburn.

So to the issue: My team has very poor morale.

Is there a way to see why they are so down? How should I go about bringing their Morale up?

Also, what can I do to increase possesion? We aren't holding onto the ball much.
For the morale, keep winning If you win and you praise victories, your team morale will eventually go up. Also, giving press conferences where you are positive about your team also helps

I know you are in the season already, but in the future, you should schedule friendlies against teams you will clobber....this also helps me build up morale leading up to the season

For holding onto the ball, hmm....I play a 4-1-3-2 with short quick passing. I hold onto the ball fairly well. Make sure you set your instructions to your playmakers.

        Thanks for the advice

Things have turned around pretty nicely actually, after a loss to Shakatar (SP?) in my CL croup. I've won 4 out of my last 5 now, including a 3-0 clubbing of West Ham,a breakout game for Drogba, who had two goals. Morale is also decent, I thought there was another factor to it, but winning seems to keep them content.

Beat Zenit in the CL group, and we are currently tied with Roma at the top of the table after two games.

The injuries have slowed, with the exception of Martin Caceres, who was mildly injured during training. We missed him the next game against the Boro, a 4-2 loss. I could have played Caceres, but I didn't want to risk a more serious injury. I wish I would have played around with the tactics a little more during preseason, as I don't want to mess anything up now.

Having a blast so far too.

EDIT: Just got tbeat 3-0 by Roma. I wasn't expecting to win, but 3-0 is a little much.

Also, Petr Cech is out for a month and Ballack is out for 2 weeks. What am I gonna do...

No worries. Ouch for your injuries. Luckily they are not that serious...

I started a new Arsenal save Yes, finally a save with my favorite team. I actually decided to do things a little differently - rather than signing big name players, I wanted to sign young quality players with as many English players as I could.

          My signings:

          Sakho
          Beevers
          Bostock
          Baxter
          Rodwell
          Gassama
          Santon
          Saivet
          Fleck
          Jake Thomson
          Jonjo Shelvey
          Silviu Lung Jr.

About half were English players lol. Anyhow, I snagged Vieira back from Inter. I want him to tutor Song and Denilson.

I'm 2 games into my season with comfortable wins over Wigan and Blackburn.

I think it would be a fun idea to try and win a league with all players of X nation. I guess that will have to wait until next year, when I buy the full game.

            Won the next game v. Sunderland, 4-1. Then I had a draw against....Fullham. I can't believe that.

I have a question about playmakers. I checked a box in my team tactics that said "use playmaker". How do I designate who is the playmaker?

On the tactics screen, go to "instructions" and there will be a tab for playmakers - set it there

                Awesome, thanks!

Just a general question, and I think the answer is no:

If I buy 09, will there be any dicount for '10?

Just beat Bolton 2-1, way closer than I would have liked.

I love 09 too, but if I buy it I won't be able to buy '10. I figure since '10 is coming out in a couple of months, I will just buy that. Also, it looks like FM 09 is the same price as FM '10, so the only difference is the 2 month wait.

I'd use photobucket. It does it automatically.
