Damn...beat Oldham on 3-0 aggregate to get to the final but lost to Colchester 1-0. Couldn't get anything going on the attack at all and gave up a stupid goal right after half. Back to League 1 I go.

Wait wait wait...Oldham lost the auto promotion on the last day of the season...then lost in the playoffs?

Posted a few pages back that I clinched the league early, which meant I had to endure several meaningless league games just to get to the TIM Cup Final vs. Inter. The press said if I beat Inter Della Rossi would likely get canned, and let's just say he's looking for a new job now:

It was brutal, especially the 7-2 drubbing I put on them to end the season. I was extremely glad to see it though because if I got matched up with Millwall I was screwed.

I've been playing the 11 demo and finally got some money to try some transfers. Liverpool was going thru a takeover so I had no cash. So I have a question on how transfers work.

I made an offer on Suarez and Ajax accepted. The contract negotiation started, and from my scouting report, the advice I was given for money needed was this. It will take somewhere between 130,000 to 175,000 p/w to probably sign him. The first amount his agent set was 205,000 p/w. WTF! His current wage is 34,500 p/w. I went back and forth until terms were acceptable for them to think about it. So we'll see what happens.

Is this pretty normal for how agents react and such a huge jump in wages?

Is the info on your scouting report, a good gauge or not really?

So Barcelona has approached me to be their new manager and they're offering me a 300 million dollar transfer budget and a 500 million dollar wage budget. As much as I hate Barcelona in real life, the offer is tempting because I've never had that much money to work with in FM. I thought I'd be staying with Palmero until FM 12, but now I have a decision to make.

Well, no scout is perfect. In addition to that, players tend to be optimistic with their initial demands (and why shouldn't they?), you can generally whittle them down to reasonable wages.

Has anyone ever bought Neymar for a non-Barca/Real team? I tried to do it with Arsenal and they asked for 77 million.

I had enough trouble trying to get Carlos Vela to join.

Would it be cool if you could continue your 2011 save in 2012, wish that was a feature.

Thats funny. In my save he was transfer listed and I got him for about 11 million. He has been scoring at will for me.

Having all that money at Barca would make it too easy to win every competition, so screw it, I'm staying at Palmero until FM 12.

Going for my 5th Serie A title in a row, and things got off to a good start as Palmero won the Supercopa, beating Inter:

Then I got my CL group:

Then I qualified for the Euros with France:

His Agent hated me. I tried for like 7 years, with 2 clubs(Inter/QPR). Never got him

About to start a game with Málaga to tide me over until the transfer window closes (or FM12 if I really get into this save). Should be fun.
