If anyone has been on the fence about buying FM 17 (like me), maybe $17 at amazon right now will sway your decision. Just purchased it

      I am looking for a white/light skin for a 1440x900 resolution.

Any suggestions? The only skin I've found (without too much effort), is the one I am currently using (CFM Skin), at 85% zoom.

Really like the 'white' look--and would prefer bigger font, lol.

      TIA, as always guys.

As far as I've seen, the only other one is Flut Light. The light/white background skins don't seem to be as popular. There was more for last years. I really liked one for FM16 called Helvecta Light. But he didn't seem to make one for FM17. Actually a few of the popular ones from years past didn't make one this year.

Think I tried this one and it was no good. I might try it again to confirm. Thanks @ZO.

So I'm doing a modified version of the San Marino challenge. Saw it posted on sortitoutsi. The Gary Speed challenge. Basically the San Marino challenge but with Wales. I picked Swansea as I thought that would be the easiest. Boy was I wrong. I'm most likely going to get fired.

The board came to me and said I had one month to turn it around as we were in last and only had one league win. I then changed the formation and benched some players while calling up some guys in the U23s. We then turned it around. But that last lost we just had has put me right back into very insecure. It was to West Ham.

EDIT: I can't believe this worked.
            Spoiler

EDIT 2: And fired. With 8 games to go. What a depressing day.

That's making me want to get it. The only thing I really care about is the ME. Do you guys think that it's been improved from FM16?

Definitely. Still has kinks, obviously, but I think it's a lot better.

Thanks, the constant goals from crosses to the back post is starting to drive me crazy. Over rating of fullbacks too.

Yeah, they definitely toned down the goals from crosses. It got my nerves in 16, as well.

FM17 also fixed the issue from FM16 of constantly seeing back passes ending in a mistake leading to a goal. I've only seen 2 in all my time with 17. But in 16 it seemed like you'd see them every few games.

They still haven't fixed the brainless back pass for corner though. Happens way too often.

My favorite gripe is the defender who slams the ball into the back of his teammate, causing it to land at the feet of an attacker who scores. I see that way too often. Or the incorrect goalkeeper animations that make you think your goalkeeper is more than likely Carlos Henrique conning you into thinking he knows how to play that position.

I haven't seen that one too much. I also haven't played too much in the lower leagues this version.

I take it back. This was a bad idea, there is no saving this club. I don't know what I was thinking.

This is how I felt about Swansea. They start 20M in the red. No transfer or wage budget to do anything with. Most of the players are garbage. Even if you sell your best player (Siggy, the only one anyone wants) for lots of money, no one wants to join you who is any good. It was a dumpster fire from the start. And it felt like a losing battle from day one. I'm shocked they did so well IRL.
