He can play at CB when needed, say dropping back if someone gets sent off, but I'd say he's slowing making the CDM role his own.

And if you were to slot him back at CB, you'd then need to to find another holding midfielder, as I think song is better than Denilson.

Djourou can play DM as well I think. I kinda recall him playing there when he was on loan at Birmingham a few seasons back.

He has really proven himself as a pretty good holding mid. I wouldn't want to just stop that maturation process at that position to move him to CB. Where he would probably have to start from square one.

Just watching these World Cup friendlies, I think being at Arsenal has really stunted Carlos Vela.

            He's regressed.

He probably should have been loaned out this past season, he didn't play at all. I hope he gets some consistent playing time in the future, he's ****ing sick he just needs to be given time to show it.

Yeah he needs to be playing regularly. I'm surprised he wasn't loaned out to a Championship team.

I'm so excited to see him play again. With as well as he was developing, I truly believe still having him in the squad would've made a difference down the stretch in the league. Although young, he definitely had a physical presence to him that our midfield can sometimes lack.

And his passing and offensive game are developing well. Ramsey is a favorite of mine and I too am excited to see him come back

Barcelona have made a formal offer for Cesc today.

Saw it and read it....I'll say it now that if the offer is 35 million, Wenger will reject it. As I said, Arsenal have leverage - Cesc is under contract for 4 more years and they are financially sound. Good luck Barca because they will need to offer more to get Cesc

I hope that if the offer was 35 million, Wenger laughed and then hung up.

Yeah, I may need to get a Ramsey jersey soon.
