Tidy enough player, don't think he is world class like some other Arsenal fans but he should be an upgrade over Bendtner and unlike Nic, he can actually play out wide. Hazard made his life pretty easy over at Lille, we will see what he can do in the EPL.

I don't think we land him though. City is supposedly interested. Maybe he sees that they currently have 3 or 4 strikers already there that are better than him and passes up the money to go somewhere he will actually play. Knowing footballers, I doubt that will be the case. We shall see.

Apparently he's coming to London to have talks with us. Whether or not he then goes to Manchester to have talks is another story, though.

Like I said I like him as a player but we are definitely focusing on the wrong Lille player.

Looks more and more the Gervinho will be our first signing of any real substance. Not too excited to be honest with you, another in a long list of meh signings.

Two things, if he does go, he's made it better for us in the way that he won't be cheaper by publicly stating he wants to leave. Second, I don't think he goes. It's still all talk to this point and he goes, what does he do? Sit behind Xavi for 3-4 more years before he takes over for him?

Sign some ****ing players to show him we're serious and let's get on with it.

Never doubted Cesc would do anything less. If he was ever going to publicly ask for a move he would have done it last year.

Still can't believe we are going after Gervinho instead of Hazard.

I think we would love Hazard but Lille have stated he's almost untouchable. I just think Arsene and the board don't want to spend all their summer funds on one player. The other thing is that Gervinho is the more comfortable of the two with staying out wide. We have enough players who want to cut inside and create, Arsene may fear that Hazard won't add enough in the way of a different attacking option to what we already have.

But that is the one thing that Hazard will bring that we don't have, width. Gervinho is the one that has the tendency to cut inside at Lille, not Hazard. Hazard is World Class, Gervinho isn't. Also not to mention the fact that he is one of the few World Class players that actually wants to play at Arsenal.

I have a feeling if we don't sign him this year then Madrid will come scoop him up next Summer and we will be kicking ourselves. If we want to keep players like Fabregas and Nasri we need to sign players of Hazard's quality every once and a while. Its really as simple as that.

Barca fans never cease to amaze. Just got into an argument with a poster on another board I frequent. As he was claiming that Thiago was a better player than Cesc. He tried to argue the fact that Thiago is younger, so I countered with the fact that even at the same age, Cesc was the superior player.

Barcelona are the most arrogant club in the history of the sport. It's the reason I can hate them. Forget their play, their off the field antics override it for me.

Don't believe it, you will target much better striking options. He's not a top class striker. I can see him moving to a smaller club this summer. To the likes of Sunderland, Fulham, maybe in Villa.
