Yeah, when we have 40M to spend, why use it all? From now on when anything such as this surfaces all I will be able to think about is that Stan video from gunnerblog Absolutely on point and brilliant.Comment

Arsene- "We currently have four central defenders," he told German publication Kicker, "and so there is no need for another."

That's not funny!
Has anyone ever noticed how weird he looks? His face is so thin and his cheeks are just caved in. He actually looks worse than Almunia.
My friend and I used to make up elaborate stories during Arsenal matches about why Almunia looked so strung out. What he did the night before, etc. Plus, when he's off the screen, he'd just be leaning against the goal smoking. He just fit that so well. So sickly looking. Good times.Comment

If they really do get 25M from City for Nasri then that's a great fricking deal. Though if they just sit on the money, then well....Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
Okay, Cesc and Nasri are on their way out.
Call me crazy, but I'm even more excited for the season now. Subtract those two subtractions and I believe we will sign replacements for both of them.
I still think we're in a dog fight to finish in the top four, but I'd rather be in it knowing that everyone is on board and not that two players or especially one really do not want to be at the club.
Nasri, you're a twat and I hope sit on the bench at City and get displeased with the style of football you'll be forced to play.
Cesc, you've been amazing and have giving more than enough to the club. I will never cheer for Barca, but you'll never be cheered against. Cheers.Comment

Amen to the transfers at long last and Kreb, I'm with you
Cesc is my favorite current Arsenal player and I'm sad to see him go, but after 8 years with the club, he's been a great servant and player. I'm no longer a Barca fan, but will cheer him onClass act and he'll be missed
Nasri's become quite a ****ing bitch in the last year. He started off so well yet disappeared in the second half and wants to win a trophy. Maybe if he showed up at the CC final we could have had an easier time winning. This guy's a mercenary at heart and I'm happy to be taking 22 million to see him sulk and whine somewhere else.
No one is bigger than the club and while I'm sad to see Cesc leave, this club will go on and it's not doom and gloom. Ramsey and Wilshere, along with RVP, TV5, and Walcott, are still part of a solid group. If we can get a CB and Mata, we will be OK. I know Wenger's still the right man for this jobComment

Apparently we're set to spend £30 million on Shaktar Donetsk's Jadson and Juan Mata. We're apparently having talks with Jadson but something tells me the Mata story is just being recycled from before. Who knows.Comment
