As for Wenger, I still do not want to see him go. He's a bit stubborn and a bit foolish at times, but he's our fool damnit. The owner and the board are what need to addressed.

Also, we're now three points clear in 4th. No excuse for us to not finish there, or pass Spurs.

The odds are insanely against us advancing past Milan on Tuesday, but I really hope we at least grab a win. 3-0 or 2-0. Even after elimination, it'll only help the mentality. Can that happen? Different story.
He is Arsenal. That is what a lot of people that want him gone don't understand. You think Robin stays if Arsene is fired? You think Cesc Fabregas comes to Arsenal at all if Harry Redknapp or Rafa Benitez is at Arsenal?

Like you said he is a bit stubborn but with the way we currently spend. Arsene Wenger is the only thing keeping us relevant. I was one of those guys that were wanting Arsene gone as recently as the Summer but I've now realized that changing managers is going to solve nothing as far as what we have to spend. That was evident after this Summer.

Yes it was. The referee got it exactly right. SZCZ impeded Suarez while completely missing the ball and going shin to shin with him. When they zoomed in you could clearly see the contact. The referee didn't panic and call a yellow or red because it wasn't. But it was clearly a foul in the box. If Suarez doesn't jump it would have looked worse than it did.

I agree, there was shin-to-shin contact and it was a good penalty call.

On another note, RVP again demonstrated why he's a world class striker and why it's imperative Arsenal pay him what he wants. I know we all keep saying that, and at this point it may sound like a broken record, but without RVP, we don't win that game. His finishes were pure class, and on a day where Arsenal didn't create many chances and were for the most part dominated, he managed to score twice.

I guess to me it seemed SZCZ made contact with the ball which is why it took the path it did.

Either way, kid can stop penalties, whether they're poorly hit or not.

He's vastly improved over last year and should only get better.

How about Song once again with a pass that before only Cesc would make from that deep. He had the brilliant one to Theo last week as well as the assist on RVP's volley at Fulham.

              He must stay for awhile.

Hey dudes, we're only four points out of 3rd.

If our back four and RVP can stay healthy, we just might be able to pull this out of our ***.

Wenger has said Wilshere could be fit enough to play in Euro 2012.

I never thought I'd say so, but I hope he does. It would be nice for him to play some actual games before the start of next season.

The guy is a great player but in my opinion, I wouldn't take him to the Euro's when he hasn't played a match all season.

That kind of sums up the state of England's midfield at the moment doesn't it.

I'd say Olympics are more likely, right? He makes it via age and it would be a less strenuous opportunity for him to to get some time on the pitch before preseason.

edit: Also, don't know if you guys saw this:

Wenger now saying he only has two MF healthy and could play up to six strikers tomorrow against Milan. Mentioned putting Ox in the middle. I say go for it. Let's see if we can go balls to the wall and score four goals.

I say go for it. We're going to come out swinging as we have nothing to lose and it'll take something special to pull it off.

Should at least be entertaining. Also, I like that Arsene is playing a full-strength squad. Trotting out some reserves would simply halt or momentum. Winning the match but losing the tie wouldn't exactly hurt us.

Yeah, I'm all for this. Giving up doesn't send the right message about where the team is heading, and could damage the high morale we've had from the past two weeks. There's almost no way we come back, but at least we can come out of this game with some momentum.
