It's too early to tell. If we show him we're committed to winning and we pay him more, yes.

He knows we can't pay what others will, as we've already told him that.

One thing we do have on our side is his wife loves London and has said she doesn't want to move their family somewhere else.

I hope to God you are right. I don't think I can stomach the loss of RVP this year after losing Cesc and Nasri last Summer.

His contract/resigning is more important than any other transfers, and has to be done the week after the Euros. No excuses possible from the club's side - he deserves a bump given the money he brought to us through CL qualification.

RVP will sign right after the Euros, absolutely confident in that...

Also think we'll sign M'Vila, Lewis Holtby, and Dempsey.

Well if the earlier reports are true that Fulham want at least £20 Million for Dempsey, I can't see Wenger shelling that out.

There's no way he'd go for that much and considering how he's pretty much come out and made his ambition of playing for a CL side clear, I'd say he goes for more around 10 mil. or so.

                  Here's some good news...

Wenger chasing Montpelier's Giroud and the striker is very interested...

I would love this signing. Podolski can play both up front and on the left side of our attacking trio, so we could actually play Giroud and Podolski together.

Normally, I wouldn't take much stock in these early rumors, especially before the Euro's end, but if Montpelier's manager is discussing it, it seems there is certainly something to this story.

If legit, it makes me worry that we're preparing for life without RVP...for a few seconds.

However, I then realize that Chamakh and Park are most likely leaving. Well, one is. Plus, Podolski will most likely be used out wide, so he can't be counted as signing a striker.

So, with all that in mind, it actually makes sense as RVP needs actual help and can not play as much as he did last year.

Exactly, we need to know the team can score goals when RVP isn't in the lineup. And when he is in, we can't rely on him to score all our goals, hence the Podolski signing being so important.

Also important, of course, is our defense (or lack thereof at times last season), and hopefully we see news on that front soon.

Yes, we better see a defender signed. I have a feeling we'll be signing a CB, as Djourjou will most likely want to leave to get some playing time.

If we could sign a quality fourth CB, I'd be pretty happy.

I think we'll be okay on the wings, with Podolski, Gervinho, Walcott and of course The Ox. Plus, Santos can play on the left and perhaps Miyaichi will be staying with the team this season.

I'm just excited for July, as I doubt any business will be done until then.

But can Podolski handle the pressure? He didnt do much when he stepped up a level and went to Bayern.

I think it'll be slightly different. First, not playing in the biggest German side in, well, Germany. His distance from all things German and that pressure could help. Arsenal supporters are not expecting him to be the best player on the team or be the next great German player to star at Bayern. It's a much different situation.

Second, Arsene has a great record at easing players into the side. He won't drop him in just let him go. He'll make sure he feels comfortable.

Also, if RVP stays, he'll definitely have a lot of help.

It's obviously not for sure out of the question, but I think he'll adapt well to the league in general, especially the physical style.

Dudes, someone actually wants Squillaci...and they'll pay us.

Offloading him and Djourou and signing another CB would be pretty nice. I think we're good at fullback, even though we had issues last year with injuries.
