Some sources say we are front of the queue for him but other sources say he prefers to play for you. Anyone's guess where he goes.

I'm guessing he wants to go where he'll play more/start.

I said it when he left Dortmund that it was a mistake and he'd be lost in that Madrid squad.

As for Song, some reports are saying Barca's sporting director is in London to discuss a sale with us. They say £15 million, we say £24 million.

One thing is for certain, if Song goes, we'll have to replace him. Period.

I still don't think he'll go, but we do like to sell.

If he goes I don't see him being replaced unless Arsenal gets Sahin. Knowing Wenger he will stick Arteta into that holding midfield position.

I don't think so. Arteta thrives the more forward he is, and we need someone with defensive capabilities. Arteta is far too clumsy when it comes to tackling. Plus, he's a player who will benefit from rest this year with some hopeful added depth. Song is at the time in his career when he can be out there damn near every game. Arteta, not so much.

If Song goes, I truly think Arsene will buy. It's rather clear our mentality has switched a bit this year. We certainly will not drop absurd amounts on anyone, but we'll make a quality signing to replace him.

I'm sure it was the Daily Mail (I know not the most reliable) a while back had you guys linked to Nigel De Jong of Man City. Would you like to see him judo kick people week in and week out at the Emirates?

No, not really. I still view him as a card machine.

Although, I'd take him in that spot over anyone currently in our squad or Sahin.

Yeah, he is a solid, solid player but I'd be too paranoid every time he lunged into a challenge. He's a red card waiting to happen.

Been thinking a little tonight and I'm not quite sure RVP, Rooney, and Kagawa will not coexist very well. They all basically prefer to play in the same part of the pitch. Especially RVP and Rooney, they are both at there best when they are moving into midfield.

So who will likely take over the armband? Sagna?

I find it a little laughable that some writers are saying its the final piece for United. Really? How about that midfield?

Kagawa will be a better signing for them than RVP.

TV5 is my guess. Sagna as vice.

I agree, United had no problem scoring goals last year with the strikers they had.

I still do not know why they were desperate to sign him. Anyways, they are paying him about 18,000,000 US dollars I believe. Thats like paying tony romo Tom Brady money. I do mot think he is really worth that much.

It's definitely good business for us. It can be argued it was for them as well.
