Good read on depth in MF and some insight on Wenger's plans for certain guys.

I hope he hasn't been rushed back. He hasn't been training long.

I'm guessing he won't play the whole match.

I have a feeling Wenger will make sure they're being extra, extra careful with him. When he does make it back to the first team, I'm sure we'll see him rested rather often.

            You're looking too far ahead.

We're still really early in this season, but as of now, we're definitely prepared to remain in the top four. Anything more than that? Way too early to tell, although Saturday will be another test for our defense.

We've looked great, but we're still one or two injuries away from having things start to unravel. I agree we're prepared to remain in the top 4. And while anything can happen, I'd be more optimistic if we had better depth. We can avoid the injury bug, this season might wind up being special. But injuries and Arsenal go hand in hand.

I think we have better depth this year than we have in many years.

i agree on the depth, thats what is making me think about this so much. only problem i see is podolski going down and giroud not finding the net, but then again the defense is playing well enough to keep us in every game and it seems like someone lit a fire under gervinho.

i wouldnt be suprised if arshavin finds his form next.

Well, what is nice right now is Gervinho has shown that he can play up front as well out wide.

Giroud will only get better as he scores, as other than his finishing, his physical presence and ball winning ability so far has been great.

I was only able to listen to the match on the radio, but it sounded like an exciting, even game.

We absolutely MUST work on our set-pieces. They've been a problem for years, and it's unacceptable, given the talent we have on this team, that the fans should have to hold their breath every time there's a free kick or corner.

Also, as has been said earlier, we need to start finishing. I think that will come, but if we put away some of our bad misses, we come out of that match with 3 points.

The first one was just classic Arsenal. Giving up a crazy goal on a set piece in which we should've easily defended.

The second, I still highly blame Mannone. He simply stood in place and easily could've made it to the ball and instead of a goal, it would've looked like a poor kick from Mata. Instead, it looked brilliant.

Also, despite his goals (including Saturday), Gervinho still is not winning me over. It sounds crazy, but I still feel that he kills more opportunities than he creates.

There were several occasions in the game in which we were on the break, and instead of being aware of what is around him, he just stares down and slows up play considerably. This happens several times in each game. He'll play in a bubble, and instead of doing the obvious pass to set someone up, he instead puts his head down and charges into the box. Sometimes winning a corner, other times being dispossessed. Even more rarely, puts in a good cross.

Call me crazy, but at this point I'd rather see Walcott start over Gervinho. Maybe.

That's been a problem with Mannone. I was frustrated when we conceded after he wrongly came to try and collect the ball, and now here he is staying put at the wrong time. I like Mannone, but when to come and collect and when to stand pat is not something he can keep getting wrong.

I wish we'd sign a veteran keeper who is alright with being on the bench and occasionally playing to back up SZCZ.

I'm definitely pro Gervinho especially over Walcott. Gervinho provides a threat every single match whereas Walcott plays one good game and then you wouldn't even know he is on the pitch the next two. To me Gervinho has been our most consistent threat attacking wise this season so far.
