Spending money "is not a quality," Wenger says, defending his decision not sign anyone else.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has defended his transfer policy by claiming that spending money is not a quality.

What is a quality, he says, is buying better players than the club already has. So wait, your telling us, Wenger, that there wasn't a single midfielder available who's better and less injury prone than Diaby? Or a striker who will score more than Chamakh?

So far the only team in the league that hasn't scored a goal, looking forward to that changing tomorrow.

Also the only team who hasn't given up a goal.

With our history, that is something to be proud of, even if it's only through two games.

          Small victories are the best.

I have got to pick up the away kit this year. I think the purple and black looks real good. Question is who's name do I get?

Basically three fourths of my kits have names of players currently playing at other clubs now. I have a Wilshere, Arshavin, and Walcott that's it.

I was thinking him, Ox, or Santi. Leaning toward Santi.

We're not looking too bad at the half. We're defending well and keeping our composure fairly well. It's nice to see us in decent defending positions.

Diaby has looked great. So glad to see him back striding through midfield.

Nice win was was Vermaelen injured when they took him off? Mertesacker is looking like he adjusted to playing in the EPL. And Diaby looked really good in the midfield, I haven't seen him play like that in a long time.

Great win. Nice combos on both goals. Three straight clean sheets!

Poldolski was working so hard today down the left side. Giroud's movement is superb, but the finishing touch is still not there. Diaby and the mid field were awesome; but the defense. Amazing yet again!

Love the organization and collective team defensive effort. Also getting rid of that crazy high line has helped too.

Yes! We look so much better playing a bit deeper. So, so glad we've made strides in defense.

Diaby has been absolutely fantastic. I really, really, really, hope he doesn't get injured like usual.

He looked A LOT like YaYa Toure today with his turns. IF he can stay healthy the loss of Song won't be that bad.

Arteta made some nice tackles today too.
