I have a feeling we are going to be very disappointed come tomorrow night. Hope I'm wrong, but with this club, I doubt it. One thing I do know is we need to do better than Michael no knees Essien. The dude has been finished for two years now. He can't even get a game over Mikel.

What would be your priority? Defensive MF or striker or perhaps it's something else? One player who it won't be is M'Vila. Rennnes chairman says he is not coming to England.

I would love to bolster the defensive side of things a bit with a DMF and I was personally hoping for some help on the wings. I worry about Gervinho and Wolcott on the sides at times... too much inconsistency. I do believe Giroud and Podolski will start to gel; and maybe the OX will feature more, which excites me.


On the striker front, I was hoping for someone like Llorente or Jovetic this transfer window... but I know we won't spend that kind of loot.

Edit: wishful thinking, perhaps.
