    Exactly.

They'll always be the second team in Manchester no matter what. They ****ed up by offering absurd amounts of money to every player possible, now they buy every player for about 150% of what they should have bought them for.

$13M for De Jong? Could have got him for about $3-5M.

$14M for Bellamy? $9M would have been acceptable.

$10M for Bridge, when $2-3M would have got him at any other club.

I lol when I saw that Man City had signed Bridge for that amount of money. That was a horrible signing.

ROMA could be kicked out of Europe if racist thugs spoil Wednesday night’s Champions League clash with Arsenal.

The Italians were fined £7,600 after their fans’ monkey chants at Inter’s Mario Balotelli in last Sunday’s 3-3 draw.

And UEFA have told SunSport any repeat of racist incidents against the Gunners could result in severe action.

A spokesman said: “UEFA has a zero tolerance policy against racism.

“Our president Michel Platini has made it clear this behaviour will not be tolerated.

"If anything happens we have an independent disciplinary committee which will investigate.

“Clubs have been banned from our competitions for racist behaviour.”

This year’s final is scheduled to take place in Rome.

But UEFA have warned Roma any violence could result in the showpiece moving to another venue.

A Gunners spokesman said: “There were no incidents in the first leg and we’re confident everything will go well in Rome too.”
If UEFA, FIFA, etc. are serious about curbing racism and violence, they should ban any club whose supporters participate in either one at least 5 years from European competition.

That would open some eyes and hopefully start to put a dent in the disgraceful behavior.

Also for tomorrow, I hope we see...

        Fabianski
        Eboue Gallas Djourou Gibbs
        Walcott Ramsey Diaby Vela
        Arshavin
        Bendtner

I think Arshavin will score tomorrow, in fact I think he'll bag a brace.

Anybody catch the match this morning?

Now that is the Arsenal I like to see. Two beautiful goals by Vela and Eduardo. Hell even Eboue got in the scoring column. The biggest bright spot though, was the MOTM performance from Alex Song. Best game I have ever seen him play in an Arsenal uniform. The guy was freakin amazing today.

Just saw the highlights, the first goal by Vela was just brilliant.

Burnley or not, it was still nice to see the team actually play attractive football again. I don't think this game makes them Champions League favorites or anything. But it should give them some confidence after a truly horrendous February.

And what was I getting carried away about with Song? Name me another game where he performed as well as he did on Saturday.

lol about 1 1/2 seasons ago a mate saw him play chelsea reserves at Aldershot and described him as a cross between Claude Makele and steven gerrard- it was nice to see them play well but there are better reserve teams fielded in the EPL than Burnley

Consider how well the kids due in the League cup against lower league teams!

as too last night well I did nt go and i did nt watch the pens cause Arsenal have never won on penalties if i watch

points of note Bendtner isnt good enough(yet?/ever?)
Diaby and Denilson are playing much better but that sloppy passing is going to get us murdered one day

Nasri reminds me of pires in his first season little flashes but generally ok till feb and then boom

Franchesco Totti played on one leg and still slid wonderful little passes all over the place - generally ineffective but what a quality player

Clichy had his worst game i can remember and was beaten 5 times thats bad for anyone

Oh man, I am exhausted... I successfully avoided all tickers, websites and this forum so I could watch & enjoy the replay of Arsenal/Roma on ESPN Classic tonight that just concluded. I'm so glad I did, even if it was excruciating. I hate penalties!

Ha! My wife commented on that yesterday while I was watching the game. I replied, "he's French, what do you expect?"

Even though it was Blackburn, this is the Arsenal I like to see.

Walcott on the wing is so ****ing awesome to see again.

Arshavin's goal was top class as well, he'll be able to score a decent amount in the Premier League. He scored so many goals like that for Zenit.

Great game today. That Arshavin goal was absolute class.

But the thing I will remember most about this game is Nick somehow missing 5 great scoring chances in the span of about 2 minutes. That was an incredible display of inefficiency to say the least.

I think it's safe to say I hate Bendtner now. Sell him for $ while you can. Dude can't finish worth a damn.

Good to see Arshavin get his first though. He, on the other hand, is class.
