Diaby's touch is shocking.
Why is he on the field? Play a 4-4-2 with Bendtner up front with RVP.Blind to this impending fate

Good god Diaby is horrible today.
I saw that Anelka strike coming. Once Nasri basically jogged to catch him (horrible defense) I knew Anelka would blast it home. It's a shame, because we had a real chance to tie it up off of Fabegas' cross on the ground, and Walcott's run.
I think it's safe to say we aren't at the level of Chelski, ManU, and Liverpool. Wenger may not want to buy any big names over the summer, but if he wants to win that tropy, he'll need to.Tomahawk Chopped - An FSU NCAA 11 Dynasty

Wonderful header from Nicklas.
This past month or so he's won me over. I love his work ethic and how he actually pressures the defenders unlike Adebayor.
Get rid of Ade in the summer and add some depth to the squad.Blind to this impending fate

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
It sure is. He was brutal today. Like you said Bendtner should have started and shoylkd start the last 2 games imo. Adebayor should be sold so you can bring reinforcements in. He just doesn't look dedicated to the cause.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
I thought we played pretty well despite the score. It should have been a lot closer than it was. Diaby was his usual self and is nowhere close to even being a poor man's Patrick Viera. Let alone the next Patrick Viera as Wenger has been saying.
And did anyone other than me find that analyst to be an utter douche bag? He pretty much dogged Arsenal any chance he got. That dude did not even try to hide his hatred. I thought I was watching Chelsea TV on Setanta for while."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Arshavin baffled by Wenger's decision to play him on the left of midfield.
The comment he made isn't bad, just blown a little out of proportion by reporters. I just think he needs more time, during the summer I am sure Wenger will be able to work with him much more and find some way to use him to his full potential. He just needs a little patience.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
It's just like our situation with Steven Gerrard. He's wasted on the right and if we play him in central midfield it means we have to leave out Alonso or Mascherano. Gerrard mostly plays behind Torres in a free roaming role.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
But will he ever play him centrally? Fabregas plays centrally, plus they MUST go out and buy the Patrick Viera type defensive midfielder. Could he be suited for the "hole" behind a central striker? Or is that what Nasri will do?

Wenger doesn't really have any true wingers except for Nasri and Rosicky. So I think it will be interesting to what Wenger does (or don't) during the summer regarding transfers. He was really lucky to make it that far in the Champions league with that midfield and backline.Comment

Has Arshavin been played up front before? Don't follow the Russian Premier League so I'm not sure if he played striker for Zenit or mainly in midfield.Comment
