Our ridiculous reliance on that high line is insane.

Inevitably, we get killed with it no matter who we have out there.

Maybe adapt? Heck no. Keep playing "our game", Arsene.

    Sad.

10 matches to make up 5 points. Great. Walcott must be so glad he signed that contract now.

I think Walcott genuinely loves the club. If he didn't he would be gone. He can make the kinda money we paid him at any club (probably more) and actually win things. I mean when you really take a step back and look at things from a non fan standpoint you can't blame these guys for going.

No, I can't blame them for wanting to go, though I can blame RVP and Nasri for going to our rivals.

What's most annoying is that we could have a starting lineup of:

            RVP
            Nasri, Walcott,
            Cesc, Wilshere, Cazorla,
            Monreal, TVM5, Mertesacker, Sagna.
            SZCZ

            With a bench of:
Podolski, Giroud, Song, Arteta, Ramsey, Ox, Gibbs, Koscielny, Jenkinson, Diaby, Rosicky, Gervinho, Coquelin, Miquel, Mannone.

That would give us a great starting 11, plus depth. For example: Winning a match in the 2nd half? Bring on Song as a holding midfielder.

I think that squad would be challenging for the title. But when you sell your best players and don't replace them adequately, you're left with what we have now, a team that in all likelihood will be playing in the Europa League next year. 4th place is not a trophy. But if it was a trophy, we'd still be going trophy-less.

The problem is that we react.

Cazorla would not be at the club if Nasri and Cesc were still around.

We've only ever replaced, sometimes, other than that we never add quality depth.

A lot of those guys wouldn't be there like Kreb said.

The fact that you're losing your best players in their prime is huge.

                Ashley Cole
                Cesc
                RVP
                Nasri
                Flamini

even Thierry to some extent were/are all in their prime. With the exception of Flamini, they're all world class players too.

The talent gap between Spurs & Arsenal has swung Spurs way for the first time that I can remember too. It's going to be tough the rest of way out with the pressure to finish 4th mounting and every little mistake amplified.

Also, for the first time we don't have a guy that the other guys say, we can do this because we have Cesc or we have RVP. Jack will one day be that type player but he isn't yet. I think that is the biggest difference in this years team and previous squads.

Wilshere is out for three weeks with an inflamed ankle. Not the previously injured one.

Just read about this on twitter. Did this happen in a game or in training?

I legitimately feel bad for you guys, can't seem to catch a single break.

Maybe you guys should try firing your manager ever year

I'd like to know when it occurred, as he seemed to disappear a bit in that game. I wouldn't be surprised if the injury played a role.

As for the game tomorrow, Sagna and Podolski have not traveled due to injuries. Szczesny will also be given a rest.

So, there is a chance we get fairly embarrassed.

Biggest game of the season and he's rested? Very strange decision.

Good effort, but not enough urgency. Bayern goes through on away goals.
