I actually think Rooney would be a decent fit provided that he actually wants to come to Arsenal and whether the club is actually serious about bidding for him. He's proven he can score goals and would be better than any of the strikers we currently have. I'd take him if the price was reasonable, but I highly doubt we're in for him seriously. This is a club that is loathe to spend money lol

Lol. I did think it was a joke at first. It was linked on Bleacher Report. The article being from Yahoo Sports, through me off. I'd never heard of Dirty Tackle before I read that article. Lesson learned tho.

So, Sagna wants to stay, but not surprisingly due to his age (30), we're only offering him a one year deal. I guess he wants more.

Saw this on Arseblog, it's a handy site that lets you know if Arsenal have spent any money yet on transfers. I think you know the answer:

I keep refreshing, but it still says "NO". There must be an error, right?

Hell will freeze over before money is spent although I keep hearing that we are close to Suarez for 50 million..... HaHa

Frustrations aside, we have looked decent against really weak opposition. Maybe that will translate into a better season. Giroud is the big x-factor for me. If he can be more consistent in front of goal, then maybe we don't need a striker as badly. I also think this is a make or break season for Aaron Ramsey. I've always liked him and want him to be a good player for the club. I know some people here hate him, but I think the talent is there. He just needs to stay more consistent and honestly, be used in the middle. He's good there Arsene so don't move him all over the place all the time.

As always, health is important. Wilshere, Walcott, Cazorla, and Arteta for sure have to stay healthy. Wilshere in particular is an awesome player and needs to stay on the pitch for both club and country.

Hoping to also see the Ox continue to grow and some of the kids like Gnabry get better. Don't get me wrong, we still need to spend money, but I do like that this time, Arsene is building with a British core. Maybe this time they'll stick around to see the end instead of bolting like Cesc, RVP, Clichy, Nasri et al did

Amidst growing outrage over Arsenal once again failing to spend money in the summer transfer window, chief executive Ivan Gazidis has publicly admitted that they have not been able to spend because they have forgotten all of the club's bank … Continue reading →

This entire Cesc to Man Utd. story the press are desperately trying to cook up is beyond humorous.

He will NEVER go there, doubt he leaves Barca and if he does it'll only be to come back to Arsenal.

Be interesting to see if Suarez reports back to Liverpool on their tour or if he'll hold out to try and force a move, which is being rumored. I suspect we'll see the 40 mil. bid come in the next couple of days. I'm personally hoping he just hands in a transfer request to expedite this....

Looks like Higuain is off to Napoli, if we want Suarez we'd better be moving very quickly...

Hopefully Real goes in for Zlatan instead.

There don't seem to be any credible reports about Higuain. Although, it wouldn't be surprising, as they'd be signing a replacement.
