I'll take him - especially with Arteta out. At least he knows AW's system and can fit right in.
Would like more, please.Comment

I like Flamini as a depth piece but we need 2 or 3 first team players at least."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

I wish I knew why he waited so long, but it seems a certainty now that we'll make some signings. Quotes from Arsene below.
I’m very, very happy with the squad we have. When I tell you that, it’s about the quality of the players I have. With the number, at the moment we are short.I am confident. The desire of the players to join us and the fact that we have – maybe not as much as everyone writes – but we have some funds available to do the transfers.Ideally I would rather have the squad in place at the start of the season and I am a big fan to cancel the transfer window at the start of the season anyway.

The Arsenal TimelineTM is right on schedule. You'll make a signing or two of the players left. They will be solid players, but nothing out of this world. You'll get a bunch of players back from early-season injuries around Christmas. Then finish strong to be in 4th or barely 3rd, but nowhere close to 2nd. I'd actually take that right now for Liverpool.

As for the timeline, we're definitely running on schedule.
I can't wait to go unbeaten in our last 15 games, just so we can secure 4th on the final day.Comment

Definitely built upon what we did in midweek. If we carry through in to the CL and make a few signings, it will certainly look better than it did a week ago.
Still, leaving our business late is just silly.Arsenal FC

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
The result today shows why I'm so frustrated we didn't add players earlier.
We have a pretty good squad at this point, shown by how strong they finished last year. The fact that we're close to a squad that could compete for a trophy, yet we're sitting on our hands upsets me.
Because it's not that we're a lost cause, and we need to add help to keep our head above water. We're at the point where adding some quality would push us over the edge to the point at which we'd be a great squad.
It will still take the right moves, but we're close. But if we do nothing, then we're not good enough to compete for something.
But, damn, we're close. Just need the right pieces.Comment
