I agree with both of you. He was taken off as a precautionary measure, so unless he's 100%, he should sit. We have the midfield depth that we should be able to rotate for a game against Norwich and still win.

Yeah agreed, plus if we need him to get the full three points, bring him on in the 60th minute or so. Dortmund is the big prize next week. Plus we got trips to Liverpool, City and Dortmund right after that in early November. We gotta be healthy for this stretch coming.

        Injury updates from Wenger:

-Ozil and Ramsey should both be fit
-Sagna and Cazorla are close, but not totally match fit
-Walcott is 2 weeks away, but Rosicky is fit and available
-Podolski, Sanogo, and the Ox are still a while yet

          So...

SZCZ, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Kos, Gibbs, Flamini, Arteta, Ramsey, Wilshere, Rosicky, Giroud?

Not sure who is on the wings out of Ramsey, Wilshere, and Rosicky.

Carzola needs some mins if he is gonna play versus Dortmund. I'd think he start with Ozil off the bench if and when he tires

I am loving the fact that Arsenal are finally able to score those incredible team goals that highlighted the Invincibles era. The double give-and-go's that led to the first Wilshere goal was a thing of beauty. More of the same, please!

Flamini has a concussion according to Wenger so I expect that he'll miss the CL game this week. Hopefully it's not a bad one and he can come back soon. Having said that, the goals we scored were class.

I think the biggest issue we have is that the team slows down and lets other teams back into the game. When we're passing like we did during the 1st 20 minutes, the team is pretty much unplayable. The technique, vision, and creativity of our attack is very very good right now

What more can I say about Mesut Ozil? He's an amazing player and the best player we've had since Cesc. Yes, we had RvP, but it is clear how much influence Ozil has had on the team since he arrived. The way Ozil is starting to dictate games is indicative of what Cesc was doing in his hey day. Everytime he touches the ball, you half expect him to do something really special. I felt the same way when Cesc was playing for us and I still have to pinch myself because we ****ing have Ozil now.

I would love to see us win the title, but for now, I'm just going to enjoy the football we play and the beginning of what I hope is the foundation of getting back to winning trophies

What a great performance. Also, Liverpool drawing helped us out a bit and we're two points clear at the top. Very early, but it seems as if we could be in actual title contention this year.

So fun to watch this team right now.

I don't know if I am more impressed with wilshere or giroud on that goal.

One of the best combination play goals I have witness, everything was spot on and that flick by Giroud was rather impressive.

After watching the goals again, I realized I had forgotten how great of a game Giroud had. Two assists, and was unlucky to not have a goal of his own.

We still need real depth there, other than Bendtner, but it seems that for now it's his spot, even if someone new comes in.

So great to see us be able to bring Ramsey and Rosicky off the bench. Hooray for real depth!

The build up, the passing and the finish by Wilshere is goal of the season so far by a country mile. Absolutely awesome!
