    Absolutely gutless.
(first time poster, looong time AGFC fan)
Tommorow my inbox will be flooded with articles from Sky Sports ranging from "Season Over" to "Why this loss does not end hopes".
I am so utterly disgusted with my favorite team I have done something I have never done before.
I erased everything from my dvr to record any Gunners games or any EPL game and I am going to keep it that way for 2-3 weeks! I am not watching a single game. I need a break from this team that cannot even rise up for Arsenes 1000th game -nevermind the insulting, classless Mourinho and how he insulted our manager and team!
Flame away if you think I am not a true fan but everyone has their limits.
Unless they grow a spine we are the 4th best team AGAIN only this time Liverpool has passed us by. (Not that we can even beat Man U.)

For the third away game against another title contender, we get demolished; again; in the same fashion. For all three games, City, Liverpool, and Chelsea pressed our midfield into mistakes, with our right and left backs waaay upfield.

One would think that the players and manager would their lesson after the first time, let alone the second time. But, nope.

Lets see what type of response we give on Tuesday, this should be interesting.

We have the FA cup to look forward to, but this performance is getting me nervous about that upcoming game.

Finish top 4, win FA Cup. I'll be happy with that.

You know I am not all that disappointed. Yeah this club struggles vs the top teams but look at all the players that have stepped up their game this season and then think about the injuries. I feel like they just ran out of gas here in the past month or two.

Even if we can win the FA Cup, I'll be pissed if we don't finish in 3rd after how great of a position we were in a few months ago.

Just to further this point....there was a strong sense that certain players (Giroud, Ozil, Cazorla) would tire in the second half of the season given their games played and our brutal schedule. This was known in December and January.

We didn't strengthen the team, despite leading the league and being in a very comfortable position re: Champions League football next year.

If things play out like they look now, we'll need to win the 2-game leg to get in the CL, and we certainly lost an opportunity to fight for a title.

So, apparently Sagna could move to City.

If they win the title, which they most certainly could, I'm sure that'll increase the chances.

Bacary Sagna has been offered a three-year deal by Manchester City and he will consider whether to become the latest Arsenal player to move between the clubs in the summer

At this point, it surely seems he's moving on. Maybe we can at least get him an FA Cup on the way out.

My wife called to tell me Arsenal is coming to Red Bull arena. (RedBulls my very very very distant 2nd favorite team)
I have never seen them live and up close but its always been a dream.
I figured in a few years (when my kids are older) maybe I can take the trip to London.
My wife was amazed because she expected me to shriek and immediately get tickets. All I could say is "I'm still mad at them. I am not even watching their games for the next few weeks."
I know I will put on my Gunners shirt and go to Red Bull arena and root against my second favorite team when it happens. I know I will watch their FA Cup semi.
But right now I am still so flipping pissed off at this spineless team I can't deal with the thought of them coming to America because I am so frustrated and tired of another battle for fourth place.
I hope they prove me wrong. I will GLADLY concede to anyone that thinks I am not a true fan if they turn this season around and even just battle for the title.
But it just keeps feeling like Groundhog Day with these guys and I'm smacking the alarmclock right now.

Consider we had no Ramsey, Wilshere, Koscielny, Ozil, or Walcott...that was a pretty damn good result at this point in this season.

I would've liked to see The Ox come on earlier, though.

Agreed - I still believe he should start every week at this point. Solid point given the team and the slide we've been on.

                        X2

Aside from the first 20-22 minutes, they played well. Second half was a definite improvement. One of the commentators mentioned that Giroud was getting tired from all the time up front with no solid backup on the bench. Couldn't agree more, I like Sanogo, and think he will improve (not that he's that bad now), but Olivier has played a lot this season. One of Gibbs best games this season.

Always disappointed when we don't win, especially at home, but not disappointed with the result against that team.

As disappointed as I am that we fell out of the title race, we were a squad decimated by injuries, and given our trophy-less streak, Top 4 and an FA Cup would definitely be a successful season. But if we don't win the FA Cup, the sky might actually start falling.

And +3 on Ox starting. He's been so impressive and deserves more PT.

Both Giroud and Sanogo don't deserve a starting spot for us. Sanogo has potential but he's very raw. Giroud is hopeless, sure you can tell me about the amount of goals he's scored this season but they're usually tap-ins that are presented on a silver platter by the likes of Ozil, Cazorla, Ramsey, etc. Ox deserves a starting position but so do Rosicky and Podolski seeing Podolski is our main threat. And Ox at CM is just no. We've seen what happened when he played there vs Chelsea, just no. If I was wenger I'd try Ox as a striker with his quickness and pace he could be very dangerous.

This wasn't a surprising lose, Everton have been in such good form lately. Poor poor tactics from Wenger - Arsenal had the ball for almost 60% of the time and did nothing with it. Flamini and Arteta did not look good together and could'nt create anything for Poldoski or Giroud. To top it off he decides to introduce Ox and Ramsey late when the game is clearly over. I think Arsenal can still sneak into the 4th spot but it is going to be a battle to the end. Shame to see how far this team has fallen from the first half of the season; honestly this is Wenger's fault for not adding any additional depth to this team during the winter break and it has now come to bite him in his ***. The team's confidence is really low and they hardly looking threatening going forward when Ox isn't in the lineup. Gunners need to step it up!
