Add Koscielny to the long list of players we've signed to new long-term contracts.

          Fantastic news.

Yup, best news I heard all day. He is quickly becoming my favorite player on the squad.

Yeah, he's always in position and just steady which was a major change from the ebbs and flows that Eboue had at RB. Eboue's best May have been a little better than Sanga, but man when he was bad, he was REALLY bad. Sagna was a welcome stability force , plus he was barely if ever injured long term. Plus, people forget how awful the CBs were before we got Kos and Metersacker and Sagna's form didn't dip still. I still have nightmares of Squallaci and Silvilistre and Andre Santos back there. Yikes!!

Well Diaby and Flamini did play at Highbury, so I throw them in the old guard too.

Yeah he always had the potential to dominate teams in the midfield (remember that Liverpool games last season?), always reminded of Viera in his day. Hopefully his injury woes are FINALLY behind him and maybe we will see the best of him next season.

Also, the Arsenal Ladies are in the women's FA Cup Final too so we have a chance to win both of them. They beat Chelsea 5 to 3 to advance the final against Everton.

There is a report that we've activated €4 million buyback clause in Carlos Vela's contract. So, looks like he might be making a return to the club.

Yup. And I love it. Offers us squad depth seeing he can play both wings and CF (although I prefer him on one of the wings). He seems to have matured since he left us and it seems he also knows how to use his body better. I got a feeling this guy will turn into a top class player when he plays for us. Considering he'd go for £20 million to any other team, this is a top class bargain. Even if he flops, his stats of the last three year would make sure we'd sell him for more than we bought him for.

I would turn around and sell him this summer. Some Spanish club (Atletico?) will be in need of a striker and he could be the remedy. Buy for 4m, sell for 15m+.
