Campbell looks very promising, definitely want him to stay. Bellerin looks great going forward, looks like he'll have a bright future. Sanogo looks awkward at everything he does, although he's playing well. Monreal at CB is just no.

Edit: Sanogo cracks me up, suddenly just scores a hattrick like he's the second coming of Henry.

Scary stuff today boys. We have 3 great young RBs on our team now with Jenko, Chambers and Bellerin. However I think Chambers' future lies at CB. Every time I see Rambo play, he adds something new to his game. It's just scary to see how far and fast he came on in the past 18 months. Campbell WILL get his shot with us and we are loaded with attacking mids. To be fair Benfica are in the middle of a rebuild from a lot of the talent they sold, but we were absolute class today. Just gotta get that strong DM for balance and then who knows, we can and should give City and Chelsea a run for their money....

Monaco will be a step up in class however and we will see many more first XI in the starting line up. It's gonna be a wild ride this year boys...

Chambers does look very comfortable in the CB role, like you said cdawg, I can honestly see him being a regular there sometime down the road.

Wenger says Campbell is here to stay for the season. Which is good since he has apparent plans for him this season or down the road.

Yeah, he even made Monreal passable as a CB today. If Jenko plays well at West Ham, that switch will happen sooner rather than later. Having Chambers develop back there is critical. Heck, he'd be the first young CB we've had in a long while who could actually contribute to side. Typically we buy 25 year olds who have loads of experience in that role before we sign them.

The guys looked really, really lethargic today and Wow does Giroud look tired after last year and the World Cup. I'm actually worried about the start of the season with the German crew out and Giroud looking just done physically. The Ox will be a great midfielder and will fill in nice for Rambo when he needs a game or two off.

Our set piece marking is still a disaster and we need a lot of work. Even with the BFG, we are still too fragile there.

Yeah the team looked more dangerous once he (Giroud) went off and Ox came in, they played way too narrow in the first half. Really see the need for another defender and definitely a DMF. I personally wouldn't worry about Giroud being ready physically for the start of the season, you could kind of tell he wasn't try to kill himself in this preseason game.

So, about that DM signing. If it happens, it looks like it'll either be Khedira, or Carvalho.

                          We'll take either, Arsene.

Rather have Carvalho, more defensive minded whereas Khedira is more of a box-to-box. Carvalho can also play as a CB, so that covers us for 2 positions.

Yeah not a bad problem to have. I wouldn't put it past Wenger to add someone on top of one of them if he can find a good deadline deal. This is all very nice that's for sure.

I wouldn't be shocked if we signed both. Arsene is up to something.
