Hate to say this, and they shouldn't be, but Spurs was the better team. They pressed and pressed and pressed, and played like they wanted to win the game and not only that but they wanted to take the game to Arsenal.

And, first game that Ospina really had anything to do, and two of his decisions were very Wojo like. . .
His "missed" punch could've been a penalty (after watching the replay, it probably should have been). Then the "slight" punch that set-up Kane's first was just amateur. And you're right, the 2nd was all on Kos, Ospina had no chance against that one.

I also don't feel great when we need a goal and who gets thrown on? Chuba Akpom. Really? Welbeck was possibly the best player Sarturday, especially going forward, so I'm guessing fitness was the reason he came off - boy, we are missing Alexis. . .

It's weird, almost like Wenger JUST discovered playing defensive and countering, and just has no idea how to use it. You guys played good defense and then scored on a counter against the run of play. Spurs were all over you guys at the time. Then after the goal, against a Spurs team notorious for struggling to come from behind vs larger teams, you guys just sat back trying to protect a 1 goal lead for like 70 minutes against your fiercest rivals.

I have no idea why Wenger didn't switch back to your normal attacking play and go for the jugular. You guys could have scored a second goal pretty easily during the 20 or so minutes afterwards when Spurs were clearly flustered.

Tactical awareness growing pains for Arsene, perhaps? Haha.

It was frustrating to see us not be able to put them under pressure. You can only defend like that for so long with the players we have, and the way they were attacking.

If I was told before the game that it would finish 1-1, I'd be fine with it. A draw away, and the form they've been in? Great. But to lose after having the early goal...gutted.

At least we should be able to grab three points tomorrow night, and then advance in the FA Cup this weekend.

I'd be very pleased with 4th place and and another FA Cup this year. Although it looks like 4th will be harder than the cup.

The problem lies in his decision making. He has a tendency to sub off/sub on the wrong players and choosing the wrong tactics before and during the game.

I guess I need to look into laser tattoo removal.

"We're ahead of Arsenal!" tattoo no longer relevant.

That was a nice win. Sure, it was against a Championship side, but that side had knocked off the champs. In particular, it was nice that Arsenal kept the energy up for the entire match, rather than take their foot off the gas after taking the lead. Now let's push on and win the trophy.

So it's United up next in the FA Cup.

I like something that I saw on reddit:

We didn't draw Man United—Man United drew us.

Crystal Palace really pushed us today and pressed us high. Kinda wish our finishing was better however so we could of finish off the game earlier and cruise on in. But hey, 3 points is 3 points.
