Don't really like either. The most recent away kits are my favorite.

Oh lord, here we go again. Now Mahrez is linked to us. This stinks of, "hey Leicester give me a better contract and I'll stay". Really hope we shoot this rumor down"If you have a linebacker on him, you might as well start singing their fight song." -- WSU coach Bill Doba on Reggie Bush

Per Mertesacker out up to 5 months with a serious knee injury.

If a CB is brought in who can start, possibly not. If a CB is brought in but Gabriel starts, he could play well enough to keep Per on the bench.Comment

Think this guy has Arsenal's transfer philosophy figured out
Mathieu Riesling
This is how Arsenal work in the transfer market: "Does he have good hair? " That's why we didn't get Higuaìn his hair wasn't nice enough can't take proper selfies.Comment

I know it's only a friendly but I thought Rob Holding looked pretty solid in defense last night. Good on the ball and didn't panic.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
Lots of rumbles about us trying to grab Mustafi from Valencia as they need the money. Would love to have another Cazorla situation—great player at a great price due to a club desperately needing money.
Also, Arsene said yesterday that we still want to add a striker and a defender. If we do that (and they're top top quality), I'll be happy with our window.Comment

Just some quick takeaways:
Debuchy looked real, real bad. Amazing how fast his career turned after the injury.
Joel had a stretch of 15-20 solid minutes and then looked gassed the rest of the game and kept losing possession.
Wilshere escaped the game healthy so that's a positive.
Xhaka looked good in his limited action.
Ox looked pretty dangerous which was nice to see after the way he ended last season.
Cech, nacho and Hector looked like themselves.
Holding didn't really have to do much so not sure yet what to think.
Bielik looked good up until the awful turnover that led to the Drogba goal.
EDIT: Forgot to touch on Theo. He continued to make great runs, as usual, but once again showed why he should not be playing striker.

I'm not buying yet into the hype, but Ox looks like he's primed for a breakout. I'm really hoping he stays consistent and plays well. If that happens, then I think we will be in great shape.
Icardi as a plan B? I'm cool with that tooComment
