Arsenal’s majority shareholder, Stan Kroenke, has bid almost £525m to buy out Alisher Usmanov, who has tried several times to wrest control of the club

Kroenke is perfectly ok with Arsenal fans blaming Arsene for the issues they've had the last decade. Wenger loves the club too much, is too proud and too attached to let it go completely to hell. And with Kroenke at 97% that's where Arsenal is headed.

I can safely say that if Stan Kroenke buys out Usamov's shares, there is a 0% chance I will be an Arsenal fan afterwards.

Looks like Usmanov has already said no, but Kroenke is super persistent so he will just keep bothering Usmanov until he either caves in and sells or has Kroenke dropped in a vat of acid.

When Kroenke was gathering shares there were deals made to ensure Usmanov would not have access to those shares, or something of that nature. I imagine that Usmanov will inevitably share, but in a similar manner, will sell to someone (or a group) which will then not be able to sell shares to Kroenke.

Usmanov seems determined on never letting Kroenke control those shares, just as Kroenke seemed to be part of a plan to not allow Usmanov to have more shares than he already controlled.

Perhaps I'm being an optimist at the wrong time, but I honestly don't know how Kroenke will ever get Usmanov's shares. It's clearly not about money, it's about spite and sticking it to Stan.

Also, Usmanov has again said that his previous offer to buy the club still stands, although we know Stan won't sell.

As far as I'm aware, Kroenke has been trying to buy Usmanov's shares for a while now, so I'd say Arsenal fans can probably relax a bit as it seems he simply isn't interested in selling (or perhaps not interested in selling to Kroenke specifically, which seems equally likely).

They definitely don't appear to like each other though.

Apparently Mustafi tore a muscle in his leg on International Duty.

Excellent, just in time to ruin the season as we play multiple people out of position as centrebacks.

I wonder if Mustafi's injury pushes us to a back four.

Against Watford, I think we could get away with Nacho at CB and Kolasinac at LB, Iwobi on the left and let Walcott play in front of Bellerin on the right, with Holding at RB.

I thought Kolasinac did well the couple of times he played at LB, and as long as Ramsey will be disciplined about going forward that could work at Vicarage Road. Definitely have BFG on the bench, and if needed Jack could come in for Rambo. . .

If that doesn't seem plausible, let BFG start at CB and Nacho out Left and Sead ahead of him (I love him on the left ahead of Nacho). And, I know it won't happen but I would actually like to see Chambers get a run in a game - just to see what he can do after being out on loan.

And I know it's been said before, and don't know if we'll see him again in an Arsenal shirt - but I miss Santi badly.

I know he wouldn't solve all our problems... but he sure as hell couldn't hurt.

If Ozil is healthy, do you think he gets in the game? I know he wouldn't start, but maybe get a run-in as a sub...

And Chambers is healthy again, right? I though he played with one of the youth teams a week or so ago.

He should start Wilshere ahead of Elneny. Also we still dont get to see 7-9-11...

So bizarre we haven't seen them together. I have no clue why he won't do it????

Also, to your point WHY DOES HE NOT PLAY WILSHERE?????
